I got a phone call for a family friend who has not lived with me in over 7 years. the man on the phone said that she needed to call the number back within 24 hours or they were going to file charges for a bad check. I do not know how they got my number assocated with her name, but they did call me and when the friend called the number back it was a sex line. I hope you catch the people and put their butts in jail. they did not leave a name of a company or anything like that.

it's a scam, we just got the same phone call. I asked for the companies physical address and they said they did not have one, only a website.

Scammer, pretending to be a process server or attorney. Ignore the call and change your number if posible. Most certainly do not give them any info unless you want your checking account cleaned out.

Process servers dont call beforehand...you hit the nail on the head with that one hahaha!!! Im surprised they still use that script at all anymore, you'd think they would know that people know thats just a BS line by now...its played out. The one I got must've really been dropped on their head as a child though. "It" had to back track all thru its message because it seemed like it forgot its own BS story halfway thru it LOL...the funniest thing Ive ever heard LOL. It was the most rambling, unintelligible thing Ive ever heard.

,This is NCS Financial. Their people say they all as beingre with a state agency but won't say which one ,as well as being process servers.. When I wouldn't take a message, they got rude and called me names. These guys are boneheads. Next time they call, I'll give them the number for the regional FTC office. FYI Process servers don't usually call beforehand.

Scammer pretending to be a process server. Same old usual spill, nothing new to this scam. Claiming you need to contact "attorneys"...LOL, there aren't any attorneys, just high school dropouts who need to come up with a better scam to separate you from your money. SCAM all the way. keep getting calls saying they are trying to serve me with papers for court for Ace Cash loan I don't understand these people or their tactics cause from what I understand if your getting served for court they don't notify you before serving you
