Home Advisor's Indian call centre called yesterday from a blocked number, "unknown" on Caller ID, they still call themselves the Home Improvement & Remodeling Group. Homeadvisor.com then sold their telemarketed lead dressed up as an Internet online application to unsuspecting contractors.

mylocalhomepro.com's registrant is a private proxy per whois.com., and appears to be affiliated with Homeadvisor.com formerly Servicemagic.com. Home Advisor uses Indian telemarketers to generate leads to sell to unsuspecting contractors. Today's call from "Home Improvement and Remodeling Group" was from "91747." 91 = country code for India. Caller today had strong Indian accent. ServiceMagic/Home Advisor sold leads to contractors with incorrect email address, most likely using the purported email address as a means to convince the contractor the lead had been generated over the Internet and was not subject to the DNC laws.

Called my house twice today leaves message but is broken up. Called the number back no answer of course asked for your name an phone number if you want to be removed left information hope was not a mistake

Called twice today...saying that i gave them information and wanted me to give them a call back if the call was a mistake...didn't give them a call back because i thought it was a clever way for me to give call them back...in any case, i'm thinking of doing the blowhhorn tactic to get them to stop calling
