I did recently buy a new car... about 2 weeks ago, so there's no way my trial period is coming up on expiring. Anyway, they call and the moment I answer they hang up on me.
Since this number has no caller ID, be VERY cautious about what information you provide them!

Got two phone calls today. Looked here and decided to look on their website and this is what I found:
http://www.siriusxm.com/donotcall
Called a rep and told them to put me on the Do Not Call List, which she did gladly after I provided my number, name, and address. If you go to the link above you will find that they mention they can't stop phone calls from other marketers. So, does that mean the car deal gave our info to Sirius XM and then Sirius sold our info to others for profit? What a BS! Is this what America has come down to? Shame on those car dealerships that provide our info to companies like these. We should have the option to opt out of this or any services when we buy a car.
Anyone out there that uses a phone with Android system, use the built in call blocker. For those that use other phones download any call block app.

It is Sirius XM telemarketing department. They NEVER leave a voice mail. They call 2~3 times a day. May I suggest you call the number back.
NOTE: The only reason they have your number is because you purchased a new vehicle (more than likely) that came with a not-so-FREE 3 month trial subscription. After the trial ended, you did not enroll. Now they're gonna SELL you a PAID subscription. That's fine. The issue is the number of telemarketing calls w/no voice mails... I guess.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME discussing anything with the Reps. Do what I did...
a) call the number
b) give them the (your) number... that's being called. They will see the name associated with the new car purchase and use of the FREE 3 month subscription
c) They will ask you to verify the name and a whole bunch of 'info' that helps them set up a different method of selling you the same service.... DON'T VERIFY DIDLYSQUAT! They already have that
d) Ask to speak with a Supervisor. Tell him/her you are not interested in XMRadio and to make the telemarketing calls STOP
It will take 7~10 days - according to the supervisor I talked with - to purge your number off their list. Be prepared to repeat the above steps if necessary after 10 days.
As a backup, you can also track down the Corporate Office for Sirius XM and relay your request.
In my case, I bought an ES350 that came with everything but the 'butler'.
Hope this helps someone. Don't sweat it. Just stand firm with the supervisor - OR - call Corporate.

4 month and they still didn't give up! I wouldn't take the service even if they will pay fr it!!!
| DLM 2013-08-02 18:33:56 Unknown |
Well that explains it!!! I purchased a new vehicle in March of this year, did the 3 month trial and cancelled the service when I received first bill. Sirius Radio was not a good fit for me.
THANK YOU :)

They called at least twice a week and left no messages. I asked not to call back anymore.
| Linney 2013-07-23 13:35:09 Unknown |
I followed the instructions to Sirius and yes they removed me from their call list as they were calling my work number. (I still get junk mail).

I bought a car, Sirius gave me a trial period, which I never asked for nor wanted, and then I made the mistake of picking up the phone one time and actually spoke to a representative. I told them I had zero interest in paying for a service that I can get for free on regular radio, and to remove me from their calling list. That lasted about 2 months. They're calling me incessantly AGAIN! If my phone is within reach, I answer it and immediately hang up on them. I won't even give them the satisfaction of reaching my voicemail....not like they will leave one anyway. They are seriously working my last nerve.

Thanks for posting. They call constantly and I am really curious who has been calling since they don't list their name on the caller ID. I was a former Sirius subscriber. That explains everything.

Thanks for the heads up. Yes! I did buy a car and Sirus came with it and now calls exactly the same, 2x/day!

It is Sirius radio. If you bought a car with a trial period, they are calling to get you to subscribe. I called them back after avoiding their twice a day calls for over a month snd ask them to remove me from their call list.
Caller: Sirius
Call Type: Telemarketer
