ALL! The AIR SERV MALVERN PAUS is NOT a legitimate charge for you using and air compressor; it is someone in Texas, likely Houston, who is skimming card numbers and then trying to use them elsewhere. I had a $3.00 charge at "AIR SERV MALVERN PAUS" and then one for $1.00 Coco-Cola in TX that failed and another at Victoria's Secrets in Houston that failed for nearly $280. If you you get these charges, contact you bank and cancel your card. Also, cancel any services or transactions from websites that you have used your card at recently.

No phone call, just a charge for $3.00. I have NOT used my card anywhere at any kind of vending. I got a call from the bank after my card was hit for $318.00 at a pilot gas station in another town several miles from me. It was then tried 2 more times @ Kangaroo stations, then finally at the vend air serv Malvern PA... There is a scam going on forsure..

Total fraud. My debit card# was replicated in Pennsylvania (I live in Chicago). Fraudsters charged it for two small amounts, $3.11 and $3.00 -- one of the charges was this Air Services Vend in Malvern PA

I just got an email saying I have a $0.00 balance on my card after a purchase of $1.25 at VEND AT AIR SERV MALVERN PA US on it. Funny part is, the ending digits didn't match my card and I haven't used the card for months since I just have my paychecks directly deposited into my account instead of on the paycheck cards they gave us at work. Another funny thing is, I have the card sitting in my lap as I type this...what in the world is going on!!!!!! I am not paying back any money that I didn't spend, especially since I haven't used the card in months and I live in North Dakota, not Pennsylvania...
MJ 2014-05-06 23:42:13 Unknown
The charge was for $1.25 today at 6:30am. At that time I'm sleeping. I filed a fraud dispute with my bank. Cxl'd the card & requested a new one. At 7pm today the $1.25 is gone but its now $1.00.

Unbelivable!!! At first I thought my husband was using our debit at work for soda, but found out that I had the card in my wallet. They are $1.50 and $1.25 charges.!!! Both from vend at air in orlando and malvern.!!! S*** heads! !! Reported to bank as fraud.

AIR SERMALVERN PAUS
This showed as a 3.00 debit charge on my bank account this morning. I never use my ATM for such items as listed above in other Posts and I monitor my account daily. This is clearly theft from an unknown source. I will report this to the bank ASAP.

same happened to me i gone get these moth******ers
GDog 2013-02-05 22:14:40 Unknown
Yes, same $1.50 appeared on my card. Called 866 number, but no answer. Remembered that I had used it to fill up my tires at my local Thorntons gas station. WTF wouldn't they include more information in the listing, or at least have a recording at the 866 number?!?! So annoying!

this message VEND AT AIR SERV MALVERN PA" did show up on my statement today - and it IS FRAUD!!!
Great bank. Noticed the charge and declined several transactions that save me $$$$$$!!!
BEWARE!!!!
Notme 2012-09-14 07:40:15 Unknown
Saw this 1.25 transaction on my bank statement online and thought someone had gotten my account because it said "CHECKCARD 09/13 VEND AT AIR SERV MALVERN PA". Googled it and then realized it was from using card at air compressor. I was concerned at first because thieves like to test cards by making a small transaction first, if it goes through they then use it for larger transactions. Glad transaction is legit but they are misleading in a way. The price for air is posted at 1.00 dollar but actually charge 1.25. I won't be using my card again and just pay .75 at one next door. I know its only pocket change but why mislead people? I don't do business with dishonest companies, no matter the reason.
Mel 2012-08-29 15:19:37 Unknown
At first I was concerned this was a fraud charge, but then I remembered using a vending machine for pics at the mall.
Hack 2012-08-01 01:59:53 Unknown
Yep. Found this blog while talking to the bank as this $1 transaction looks like "skimming" or the calm before the storm. Turned out to be a legit air compressor usage. My request to AirServ, "Please ensure the banks have your contact info in Malvern, PA."
Ray 2012-07-20 02:57:06 Unknown
Not a phone message, but a $1.00 charge showed up from "VEND AT AIR SERV MALVERN PA" on my credit card after using it at a gas station air compressor, so it was legit. You'd think they could use a better location description (I'm in Texas), I thought some dirty rotten scoundrel had stolen my credit card number.
B Chiu 2012-05-27 15:42:40 Unknown
Thanks for your information. I didn't buy drink using my credit card during the day, but I did use the air compressor from my local 76 gas station. Whew I almost thought my card was compromised...
Joseph 2012-01-26 20:02:05 Unknown
Melissa, are you familiar with merchant codes for these vendors? Are they mirroring the vending company or is it possible that the vendor may be compromised?
Melissa 2012-01-26 15:12:27 Unknown
Beware, there may versions of this name that are legit but there are most definately people using this name for fraud. They appear to be verifying the status of cards for $1.25 or $2.00 and then if the cards are good using many other names, including Wal-Mart, and Wawa Market in Texas and Pennsylvania. If you see this name on your account beware, there may be a sweep of funds out of your account very soon.
Smileysnwbrdr 2011-10-09 17:28:18 Unknown
This ended up being something I got from a vending machine. It's legit, but they really need specific location descriptions or something. Can't believe in this day and age they don't have that.
ashley 2011-06-06 21:05:42 Unknown
this number keeps calling me
schulwitz 2011-05-19 02:06:39 Unknown
Thought this was fraudulent, but it was just the gas station air compressor.
Diana 2011-04-03 18:25:24 Unknown
that happen to me too thanks to your message i realized i been using my card in the vending machine at my work but i am mad because everytime i purchase something they charged for it like three times i dont know if there is a way to prove that i guess iam just going to stop using my card on those machines
Cody 2010-08-02 21:32:32 Unknown
A Google search for "100 DEERFIELD LN vending" brings up http://www.usatech.com/ as the first result. It's a company that manufactures ePort card readers for vending machines and the like that allow you to pay with a debit or credit card. Their headquarters is located at 100 Deerfield Lane, Malvern PA, which is why that address shows up on the statement.
Nicolas 2010-03-12 01:19:26 Unknown
http://www.canteen.com/index.html
It's not fraudulent. Your using a vending machine with a card reader.
bph 2010-03-06 06:48:40 Unknown
The transaction listing I had for this was stated as "VEND AT AIR SERV 888-561-4749", but it wasn't until I saw cl mention that this could also be for air compressor that I remembered using it for the air compressor. I should have gotten it from the description, but I had forgotten using it for that. (Didn't have 1.25 in quarters on me that day). So, at least in my case, the charge is legit.
cl 2010-02-02 20:29:25 Unknown
This charge can also be for an air compressor or vacum at one of those tire stations at a gas station.
Also a BECU member 2009-12-23 02:58:27 Unknown
Also showed up on my online statement with BECU. Most likely a charge for bottle of water purchased at Amtrak station vending maching by me.
Kind of hokey, though, that calling this number results in recording
inviting you to leave a message only (ie; no mention in recording of who you are calling)
CR 2009-12-02 01:19:26 Unknown
At first I panicked too when I saw this on my statement today. Then when I saw a poster mention vending, I realized it was the vending machine at my work that has a card reader on it. If you have one, that could be it. It should say somewhere on the machine who the company is. If not, then definitely call your bank and dispute it!! Someone may be using a fake card with your card # at a vending machine.
Another BECU member 2009-08-04 18:42:25 Unknown
I see that showing up on my statement as well for $1.50 three times over a period of a week. I checked back and it was for a drink vending machine at a local hospital where I was visiting a friend. I did use it so it was not fraudulent in my case.
Javimari 2009-08-04 02:19:47 Unknown
Did you solved that problem?? Now i got the same thing happening.
Javimari 2009-08-04 02:18:33 Unknown
I have the same problem, some weird transactions called POS CANTEEN VENDING 888-561-4749 PA, it looks that is a fraudulent thing, im gonna call my bank to see whats going on!
