got a call from this they have called at least 5 times today.

I answered it and it said "please hold for an important message"
then it played music and eventually hung up on me.

they called back again and I answered it and heard the same "hold" message and then heard a man say "hello?" on the other end and then hang up.

I try to call back and the the service in unavailable.

WTF?

this number has called once a day for six weeks.  I don't answer numbers I don't know, and no message has ever been left.  How do I stop this madness?

This same number has called every hour on the hour since 8:00 am, but I've been on the Do Not Call List for months.  Who are they and why don't they just leave a message?

I am getting this same call- no one is ever on the other end.

THIS IS HARRASSMENT!!! No messages left, and when I call back the first thing the automated system asks for is my Lane Bryant account number. I did NOT eneter it, just hung up. My account is in good standings. WHAT IS GOING ON?!?!

I also got the Lane Bryant message. If you "do not have your account number," it prompts you to enter your social security number.  This is a huge SCAM! Do no give them the information!  No respectable company will ask for that information by phone and as a Lane Bryant account holder, I can assure you they will never ask for that information on the phone (according to their own customer information).

I am calling Lane Bryant later today to let them know there is a scam going on and seeing if there is something we can do to stop this.  I get over 10 calls a day, starting at 6am and going every hour or two all day until evening.

when they leave a message there is nothing but dead air.  When I call the number it says please wait for an important message, then nothing. they call 6 or 7 times a day.

I'm being phone-stalked by Lane Bryant as well. I paid the bill through my bank's bill pay system, but it takes a few days to process. My card balance is less than $30, but OMG they act as if they are the FBI searching for a fugitive. It reminds me of those Capital One commercials where the creditors are chasing the customers. I've received 9 calls and voicemails where no one answers since yesterday. I think I'll just pay my balance and close the account.

caller did'nt leave message

I have been getting this call every day at the same time and no one answers when I answer it. Found out it was Lane Bryant even though my balance isn't due till the end of the month. Extremely frustrating when no one is on the other line.

They are a pain! My caller ID shows they called at 4:44 a.m.

Lane Bryant. I just paid the last amount of the card off two days ago and my balance is now $0. They just called me earlier today. They haven't called me at all until I paid the whole thing off. Seems to me they lack the responsibility for handling business for the Lane Bryant card holders. I don't mind them calling to collect money but my balance is $0 - why are you calling?

I paid my bill 3 days ago but because it hasn't POSTED they continue to call several times a day!

I have been getting calls fm this mumer on both my home phone and my cell. I am never late on my payments, and no one is ever there when I used to pick up. With a couple of exceptions, and they had such extremely poor english with heavy accents that I have NO idea what they are saying. I agree, it is harrassment! They log between 10-15 calls total tothe 2 numbers, and never leave a mee=ssage.

I've been getting calls about 20 timed a day. No says anything when I answer... When I caller them back a recording asks for my social. It's just a scam, a way to screw people over. Oh and yes I get blank voicemails. I answered one of their calls and screemed at them and it obviously didn't help.

Some stupid deadbeat bi*** uses my phone number for all of her credit cards and other bills.  Guess the deadbeat scammed this credit card issuer too.  Oh lucky me...  My cell phone rings at least twice a day now.

I agree, if they cannot leave a message letting me know who they are I do not call back.
I see here this says Lanye Bryant. I do have an account with them but the payment is not due until the 30th. I have been getting 10 calls a day from them beginning at 7:30am and going until 10:oopm. I know in our state they have laws forbidding collectors to call before 9am and after 9pm.
They do not seem to care. Why put a due date if you are going to harass your clients 2 weeks ahead of time and like I said with 10 calls a day.

These people are crazy, they have called me as early as 6am and as late as 8pm, they call multiple times per hour, I have probably gotten up to 10 calls on some days. They just leave messages of dead air. They will continue to call you even after you make the payments, at all hours of the day, and are very unapologetic when you tell them you made the payment and they're like oh I guess you did. DUH! Please check that before you call me at 6am, thanks.

I have been receiving calls from this number for about a month now.  One day 16 times.  No one is ever on the other end until today.  They asked for an individual who never lived here and told them to stop calling me.  Just received another call.  What can we do?

I have never had any business with this store or any of the others mentioned here. They started calling 3 months ago and never answer when I pick up.

I have been receiving phone calls from this number for the past couple weeks.  Same thing as previously noted; no one on the line once I answer the call and no message left on a voice mail.  So, I called the number.  The recorded message asks for an account number.  I don't have one nor will I ever be opening one.  I wait on the line to talk to an operator.  The gal asks for my phone number.  I immediately ask to talk to her manager.  Tiffany comes on the line and I explain to her that my name needs to be removed from the list, TODAY!  One hour later, another phone call...two hours later, another phone call.  I HAVE HAD IT!

This company has been calling me for the last couple of weeks. Okay I do owe a payment. But can't make the payment till my pay check goes into the bank. Friday 9/18/09 starting at 8:10 am cst they called me 20 to 25 times within an hour, never left message not one time. Once I confirmed my pay check was in my bank, I went online and the payment. Didn't recieve anymore calls for the rest of the day or weekend. Monday 9/21/09 started calling again at 8:06 am cst didn't answer the phone, no message left, they called again at 8:15 am cst, again no message, called again at 8:25 am cst again no message, again at 8:35 am cst, finally I answered the phone and before the lady could speak I told her if she would take her hand put it on the scroll key and scroll down she would see that my payment had been made and that she had already called my  house 4 times this morning within 30 minutes and that she was harrassing me and if she called me one more time today or ever again I would sue her and Lane Bryant and hung up the phone.

Will never return a call to a company that doesn't have the decency to leave a message when they call every two hours of every day.

If I answer the phone when this number calls 888 561 8874, there is no one there.  There is always a message left and it is dead air.  When I call the number back there is a message that says, "please wait for an important message"...then nothing.  This number calls me 6-7 times a day. How do I make it stop

I have been receiving calls from these people 12 times a day. I always refuse their calls. I know there is a balance due and I spoke with them 2 weeks ago for them to send me a bill in the mail to my new address, but I haven't seen one yet. The man that I spoke to didn't seem to know what he was doing and asked me to repeat the street I live on 3 times in broken english. He also asked me where I work. NO WAY! I told him I don't feel comfortable telling him this information over the phone. I will never use my Lane Bryant card again or apply for one at any of their affiliated stores. I'm glad I looked the number up online. What CREEPS!
