I've been getting calls from this number once a week. Then when I finally started answering its for my mother I tell them she's at work she won't be home til very late they call back every hour. It's the same woman & she told me its very important that they reach her it's about Medicare. Ha she does have it & isn't old enough for it either. Someone needs to get their stuff together.

I suppose reporting these types of calls to the appropriate authority is the right thing to do. Frankly ? I refuse to be bothered when the ability to not be annoyed by annoying people is in my hands. I don?t know what?s out there for folks that still have home phones. I got rid of mine about 2 years ago. If you rely on a cell phone only ? check to see if your contact list provides the option of sending calls from contacts you select straight to voicemail. This is a wonderful feature! I simply don?t answer calls from numbers that are not in my contact list or from an area code that I don?t recognize as being local to me or local to my old home town, etc. Any legit caller will leave a voicemail in my experience. Most calls I receive, that I don?t recognize, never leave voice mail. Anyway ? all I do, with a few quick short presses is add the number to my contacts then set it to go straight to voice. That?s it. It takes 10 seconds of my time & I?m never annoyed by that person/company again. They can call as many times as they like - my phone will never ring. If your phone doesn?t offer this option ? keep it in mind next time you upgrade.

same here.  Pretty much every morning they call, but I don't pick up if I'm not familiar with the #.  Just don't answer, simple as that.

I just changed my phone number because of crazy calls, and I'm registered with national do not call registry, but every day I have this number on my caller ID.  When I call back it says my call can't be completed, and other times says to wait for a customer service rep and no one EVER comes on the line.  I've held on for as long as 15mins before and nothing.  I really want to know how to get this number to stop calling.  I haven't had my new number a month yet and it's already madness.

i am tired of them calling me and not answering when i pick up and when i try to call them back to tell them to stop calling all they do is put me on hold.  why can't they be stopped ?

Get a call every week from them. They've hung up,when I have answered. And they never leave a message,when I let the answering machine get it. When I call them back,a recording places me on hold,and plays office music for about 15 minutes. Today I did get to leave a message on their machine,after a 20 minute wait. I told them to quit calling,and harrassing,because I have a person with Cancer,in the household,and that's the truth.We don't need them aggervating us. If I could get my hands on them,I'd probaly be sitting in Jail.

This is a call supposedly  from The Yellow Pages updating information.    I don't give them any information.

Called twice today.  First time no one there when I picked up. Second time no one there at first then a lady came on but it was garbled so I just hung up

Again received call with no one on other end.

alliance corp is the phone comapny/wholesaler for this number.  Call Mary and she will contact the company that owns the number and have them remove you from the list.

I've gotten a phone call from this number every day at between 11am and 12om...and I don't answer...my business partner told them not to call; to "take us off your list" about 2 months ago...
I've started a log with just this number and I can verify that they have called every day, sunday included!! for the last month...now to get someone to listen to me and get rid of them...

I have been receiving a call from these swindlers for 10 yrs. I didn't know any better in the first yrs of our business, then started receiving bills regularly from them. I never paid a one, thanks to the BBB, they gave us the correct info on "how to get rid of" these crooks. They do once in awhile call back, so I am going to use the 800-756-2236 number to get rid of them for good, if thats even possible.

I keep getting calls from this number, nobody is there!  I had 3 calls yesterday and another already this morning!  My number is on the National DO NOT CALL LIST!  There was someone on once before and I told them this  number was on the NDCL and as I was telling her this the line went dead.  Now I just keep getting dead calls.  I called the number back, but the line was busy three times!

1-888-565-4486:  Annoying caller.  No one answer when you pick-up the telephone.  I attempted to call Alliance Group; but, the person told me I would have to provide all my telephone numbers at our office location.  Receiving the same type of calls at my home number, too.  At home, I did not say anything when I picked up the telephone, and the call definitely was coming from over seas.  The man would not identify himself nor tell me what the call was pertaining to.  This is ridiculous that we have to tolerate such nonsense.

I better not get charged anything for any listing in the Yellow Pages from this phone number.   I said NO each time he called but he rambled something fast on the last call.   There better not be any recordings stating that I agreed to anything because I DID NOT and told him repeatedly that we were not interested.   He called 3 times in succession wanting to talk to the owner.   Very persistent.

We are on the DO NOT CALL  list also.  I even told the caller that we already have worked with the yellow pages through the US Mail.

Have received multiple calls from this phone number.  When I answer, it is just dead air.

These guys keep calling.  I'm on the DNC list and it doesn't matter to them.

Another annoying company that calls here several times per week.  Sounds like auto dialer, which is illegal, because when you pick up there is silence.  I say nothing, or make up a foreign language that is gibberish.  Then I hang up.  This is such a waste of my time

i  called it back and recording told me my call couldnt be completed as dialed.

Daily unwanted calls from this number to "Update my yellow pages listing". Have requested at every call to take me off their list. Try calling back the number and it automatically hangs up on me.

Report them to the online FCC complaint Center as a abandon call

omg this guy would not stop.

I asked to be taken off their list and he said that he would have a charge us to be a private listing. I kept telling him that it didn't sound right.. he then went on to say that the phone book is being discontinued and they just wanted to verify the information. Then it turned into an act where he was then "recording" the call and wanted me to say certain things to certain questions.

That's when I hung up.

i knew the number from seeing it before.  i picked up and didn't say anything.  when they said hello, i asked what they wanted and he said he was with the YELLOW PAGES.

i said "oh, that's good...CLICK!!!!!!"

WE went thru the same deal as "Peg". a simple "yes" answer to verify that it was us they had reached was recorded and used against us claiming we accepted thier so-called services. They had put a $39.95 charge on our phone bill for 2 or 3 months before anyone noticed. They wouldnt take it off so we had our phone co.(United/ take it off and put a Charge Block on our phone line.
We have done all the standard things to make these crooked,relentless b*****ds leave us alone but they still call as many as 4 or 5 times a day. and like Peg said...the best thing to do is lay the phone down and let em talk.
 You cant block thier number because they change it regularly. and the DNC list is USELESS because our Govnt. doesnt enforce it. if you dig far enuf i would bet they are actually in a different country routing thru a number here in the states.
 So you'll have to find your own way to put up with thier relentless calling. but DO have your phone co. put a block on charges to your bill......
