Thanks for the info, I called them per a friend who got their loan modified with them after fighting the bank for almost two years. They are now called Florida Group of Attorneys and gave me their new number 855-556-7166. A Eligibility Rep said they were bought out by FGA to serve more clients in need. Well I completed an application and was approved for a modification going from 6.5% down to 3.85%, saving me about $444 a month. I can't be happier and have all my friends calling Richard!

From what you learned "Just The Facts" is not too much. I hired this company, Best Mortgage Modification Center after fighting with Bank of America for about a year and all BOA did was, well, nothing. Though the documents I got from Best Mortgage Modification Center, I was modified with in two months with Bank of America and could not be happier with saving almost 1/3 of my mortgage payment. They are also the largest modification center in the US and charged me on about $900, compared to the other attorneys out there (who are still calling) offering to help me anywhere from $2000-$8000 to do the same exact work. You may want to give them a call, and their BBB rating speaks for itself.

I agree with Robert, the banks are the crooks. I tried to get help from my lender several times and kept getting the runaround. I hired a company and got an approval in about 40 days. Unless you have attorney prepared documents you will not get very far, at least with my experience with my lenders GMAC and Bank of America.

Wow you have to be the most ignorant person in the US. The BANKS are the crooks! Wake up and join the rest of us in the 21st Century please! If you are eligible for a government program you WILL NOT get anywhere without an attorney, period.

This mortgage modification company got my number when I filled out a short questionnaire online with who I thought was my current mortgage company.  Ever since then, I've been getting hounded by multiple modification companies who claim they can modify my loan for a fee.

From what I learned, the only company that can modify an existing mortgage is the company that currently holds the loan.  Any other company is probably trying to scam you.  They usually request an upfront fee and later you may find out there was no modification, but your money is gone.  Other case scenario?s could result in not only getting scammed out of a fee, but could result in your deed being transferred over.

What I need is an application for a Windows phone that will block specific toll-free numbers.  Any ideas?
