Hello.  I found your post while surfing the web.  Joy Christian Radio is the owner of the phone number 888.569.2471, but it is an incoming number only.  We utilize a service that maintains this line, and no outgoing calls are possible.  If you received such a call as you indicate, first let me say it didn't originate with us.  Second, I have no idea who could spoof our number.  We don't call out on that line, we do not send texts from that number, we are not a telemarketer organization, and we do not solicit in the manner you described.  I will report this to our phone provider and let them investigate.

Had the same thing happen and just text stop. They've only bugged me once. Not after tellingthem to stop.

I received a text message stating "earn $100/day shoppers needed for retail and dining establishments.  Call 888-569-2471. to end, reply "STOP".  the text originated from 949-413-4869. I called the 888 number and asked how they got my number because I am on the do not call registry and I didn't appreciate getting the text message.  The lady said that she would put my number on the do not call, do not text list.  In searching the 888 number on google, it directed me to the Facebook page for Joy Christian Radio.  I plan to send them an email as well.
