I got a call from 888-569-7149. I dialed star 67 and plus the number. A computer voice came on and introduce itself as Northland Group. This particular number says it is coming from Florida (according to my caller ID  displayed). They also got a number in Minneapolis, MN;  their number is 866-578-1742.

I have been receiving calls from this number up to 5 times a day for the past two weeks.  When I used to answer the call there is only dead air.  After a minute or so the call disconnects.  I don't know the purpose of the call because no none actually talks.  I have logged a complaint with a government agency.  If this is a some sort of collection company then they have the wrong person. There is no communication to be able to ask why I am being harassed.  It seems that they don't care who is being harassed or if they have the right phone number for the person they are intending to harass.

Rang the phone again, not your blocked losers.

They call 1 - 2 times a day and never leave a msg. If it's important, leave a msg. I don't pick up toll free calls.

This person calls our house at least 3-4 times a day. Whenever I sat hello there is never anyone there. I would like to talk to them to tell them to stop calling!  

THESE PEOPLE KEEP CALLING MY JOB!!! IT IS RIDICULOUS.  MOST TIMES NO ONE COMES ON THE PHONE TO SAY ANYTHING AND IT IS GETTING OUT OF CONTROL.  THEY HAVE CALLED AT LEAST 4 TIMES A DAY..HOW CAN I PUT A STOP TO IT??????????????

Long story short they keep calling despite having being told

I can now see why some would not even want to clear up a
debt just out of disgust with the non-human personality on the other end
of the line

My neighbor received a call from 888-569-7149 asking for someone having the same last name as mine.  My neighbor told this guy that we lived next door.  I called the number and a guy answered "hello"  I couldn't believe that a telephone number that is obviously from a business would answer the phone as hello.  This guy said he's looking for Txxxxxx and my last name.  I in no uncertain terms informed him that this person doesn't live here.  He asked me if I had a telephone number for this person and I informed him NO.  He said that he would take "this number off of his list.  I informed him that he didn't even call my number and that I wanted him to take everyone on my entire street off of his list because this Txxxxxx person does not live here.  This guy would not give me any information as to what company he worked for or why he was calling my neighbors except that he was looking for this person.  I did a white pages search for the name and came up with one person with that name living in my state.  If I could do that and get an address and a phone number why don't these people do that?  They are Phishers, whether or not they are bill collectors or not.  When they do not do their research correctly they are making innocent parties very angry.  One of these days they are going to make the wrong person angry and they are going to be extremely sorry.  I only hope that I live the day to see it.  I have been getting hundreds of calls for this person just because I have a rare last name and I guess they figure that gives them the right to call me and ask for that person.  I wish I had a more common last name and maybe they would leave me alone.  I can't deny that with so many people calling me and asking for the wrong person that I don't wish I could reach through the phone and punch them in the face.  It is very aggravating especially when these people have no regard for what time they call.  We get most of these calls extremely early in the morning or extremely late at night.  Both times we are trying to get my little one off to school or asleep.  Believe me I am curbing my words because in reality I am extremely angry over this nonsense!!!!!

I GOT A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER ASKING ABOUT A SUSAN TIPTON AND I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHO THIS SUSAN TIPTON PERSON IS.  IT IS THE SECOND TIME THAT I HAVE RECEIVED A PHONE CALL REGARDING HER.  AND I KEEP TELLING THEM TO TAKE ME OFF THEIR LIST AND IT HASN'T HAPPENED SO I CALLED BACK AND MADE SURE I WAS OFF THE LIST AND THE GUY WAS REALLY RUDE TO ME AND ARGUED WITH ME.

The 888-569-7149 called me since month ago and never give a call reason, directly asked personality.

I keep gettign calls form this number at work, and do not answer them. They com over at all times, and they will not stop claling me. I am even on the do not call.gov list.

He called me and asked for my daughter. His name Kent PeTerson..

Wanting to speak to an aquaintance of mine and gave the company name as NGI in Wisconsin. He was also at ext 3831 his name was Kent Peterson.
