I did call this number to find out more about it b/c it sounded too good to be true.  They transferred me to someone based on my state, and the next lady was extremely rude (pattern).  When I asked for more details, they said that the executives that sign up to receive their faxes already know about their company and don't ask questions. So they could not / would not tell me anything about the trip, no hotel name, airline, departure times, no details whatsoever, except that it takes 90 days to book the trip and THEY ONLY ACCEPT PAYMENT FROM YOUR BANK ACCOUNT!!! When I started laughing at the prospect of such an obvious scam, she got extremely rude and said "I don't see what is so funny?"  I replied, "The idea that you want me to give you my bank account information as payment for a cruise that you can not tell me the separate destinations, ports, or any details on the cabin accommodations, any featured tours, name of cruise lines, etc.  Who in their right mind would do this?" She hung up on me.

Seriously?  If you're even contemplating this, I have a great bridge you can buy really cheap and charge a fee for everyone who travels it to make some great money!!!

Well I bought one before that was real. But all real offers I know of are for a day only so if you call next day and still are offered the same deal something is up. Also any of these offers will charge a 300 dollar for peak season per room and 100 dollars per room. So that's assuming 150 pp to stay day. Since 2-3 people can stay in room that makes it (3(150) + 100 + 300)/3 = 284 pp plus airplane ticket. Its pretty cheap if you get a 5 star hotel Like we did the first time. The second time we got 3 star hotel and the trip was only a little cheaper then one you can get online still worth it. Ways to know its a fake agency is the have a website created same time this phone number pops up. The charge only through bank numbers which you have to give them not credit card. Fake ones are usually always nice till you try and cancel then they get nasty. Usually legit ones are always negative, and they don't want to give away the trip unless your nice as well. That is what I learned over the years. If your worried about buying then you probably shouldn't.

Having read horror stories elsewhere about companies like this faxing to get business, I would go with "it's a scam".  I've read of people getting these certificates, but they still end up paying way more than they would have if they had booked a trip elsewhere even without a certificate.  And I've also read of people paying and never receiving either a vacation package or their money back.

We have a no-call list here, just like your state, callers still call. On the caller ID on the phone, (unlisted) and no phone number. I have tried several times to stop that, but perhaps if it shows unlisted it is a difference story. So what can you do? Once they know you like to travel, the caller probably has a list they brought from an agency leaning towards your preferences. Let's not get started with e-mails. They are worse.

No body I know would never take an offer like this. It is better to deal with a company you know something about, even if it cost a little more. I did ask the Better Business Bureau about this and they knew nothing. The people on this phone number were rude. They told me the name of the Travel as O W Travel and told someone else it was Oklahoma Travel. You can not find anything on the web for either company. So if you got scammed how would you ever get your money back. Not to mention they would have your credit card number and name for more scamming. If it is too good to be true, it is usually true. I hate pushy salespeople anyway.

This is against the law in Connecticut for telemarketers to send these ads.  The problem is when they get reported to State no one does anything.   The law isn't enforced so they continue to hammer you with these scams.  Same as the ones that call, you get on the no-call list, the calls come in anyway and the law is not enforced.  I would like their fax number so I can send them stuff.  They don't have their names or license numbers on anything either.

Really, some of you guys have to ask if it's a scam?!  That's really scary.  It's not called a junk fax for no reason.  These travel scam junk faxes have been around for years and nothing changes except their phone numbers.  If you still don't think it's a scam, call your bank and ask them what they think of the offer.

Bogus removal number listed is 888-323-0858 and calling that just confirms that you have a working fax number and will just get you more of these faxes.

I just received a fax from them--used my ink!! I called to ask why they sent me a fax and used my ink when I hadn't requested information. They actually hung up! I called back, got hung up on again! I called back and said, "Why do you keep hanging up on me?"

"Because your yelling," she replied. (I wasn't yelling, but I was firm.)
She continued snarkely, "Do you want your number removed?"
I said, "Yes, of course. What do you think?!"

I told them I was going to report them. And this is my first stop of doing just that!

I called the number today 888-570-2240,
I spoke to a guy and he gave me the information I asked for, The name of the company is Omaha Travel.
I did not find anything on Omaha travel on the web.
I asked him about the 2 night 3 days in Vegas,
1, You have to pay the $149.99 PP now and wait about 10 days for a certificate to arrive before you can book your trip, the trip has to be booked 90 days in advance, there is another fee of $69 called reservation booking fee, you will also have to pay the hotel taxs at the hotel check in, which for two nights may be about $10 to $15,
The hotels he offered were Miarge, NY NY, and Riviera,

So I checked Expedia out, I used dates out 90 days  August 2nd to Aug 4 2013
Mirage $561 PP NYNY was $492 PP Riviera $461. for weekend rates,
I used week days Aug 5th to the 7th and the rates are Mirage $320, NYNY $259 Riviera $228
I also checked and found I can stay at the Golden Nugget for 4 nights w RT airfare for $305 and The D for $251 using the week day rate.
My departure city is San Antonio Texas.
There could be some black out dates so make sure you check if restriction on dates exsist.

I get faxes from this company, Called this number and wanted more information. My husband just had back surgery and told her just wanted to know just what $149.98 trip would cover. Rude operator stated if I was not going to make a reservation today they would not tell me more. Asked what the business name was "O W Travel". Nothing on the internet and no one at the Better Business Bureau knows anything about this company. I believe this is a call center for several businesses. Anyone ever trraveled with this company?
