My caller ID showed this number.

Received a call at work from this number, came up as private and did not show the phone number either, super creepy. The recording asked me to call this number, of course won't be doing that. Sounds sketchy.

Confirmed today that it is Comcast collections department.  If you don't have comcast then you should contact them because apparently someone else is using your info.....

I keep receiving phone calls from this number; my Caller I.D. shows it is a private number. When I listened to the Voice Message, there is no name or company info.

Do not pay your bill with this telephone number. Use the phone number printed on your bill or at comcast.net. I called comcast to see if this phone number was one of theirs. They could not verify it was.

When you call comcast, their system should auto reply with your phone number. Not ask for it. Also, this number asks for CC info including security code. The real comcast number does not ask for that number.

I got a message today saying it was from Comcast and telling me to call this number.  When I called it said my account was past due but I just got my bill last week and paid it today.  The amount on the message did not match the amount on my bill.  So when I called the 1-800-Comcast number they gave me the same information as I show on my bill.  Not sure that this number is legitimate.

they claim to be comcast calling about an "important matter".
when i call the number they give me, it's not the normal comcast message.
could be the collections department since my account is past due.
i wouldn't know since they put me on hold.

Yes I got a phone call from these people and then when I call it back it is not a working number.
