I got a call them asking me by my first and last name accusing me of being their husbands mistresses....

calls non stop asking for someone that does not live in the household nor do i know.

I keep receiving calls saying to stop signing up on their website or they will file criminal charges.  I told them i am recording this conversation because they call me every day and I will file harrassement charges..guy said i know i know and i hung up.

After 888-573-6970 called me 8 times in two hours either asking for David or hanging up, I called them back and told them to please take me out of their database.  They hung up.  I called back and asked for a supervisor. They swore at me.  I called back - ten times - and told them I would continue to do so until they took me out of their database.

As stated above, it sounds as if a drunken party is going on in the background.  The 21st time I called, I told them I was reporting them to the Attorney General and they swore and laughed.  10 seconds later I received a call from a cell phone number 9712089936 based in Salem, Oregon telling me I could never stop them and they were coming to kill me.

I reported this to the Oregon Attorney General who suggested I call my phone company.  I have now blocked both numbers but I am sure they will call again from a new one.

The thing I don't get is what's in it for them?  They never try to sell me anything or ask me any questions beyond "May I speak to David?"

I called that number back after it called me 29 times.  They said I defaulted on some payday loan.  I simply told the foreigner on the other line that I went bankrupt and whipped all of that crap away.  He hung up on me.  Go figure

Just got a from (888) 573-6970, tey call everyday asking for someone different every time, I got tired of telling the idiots that they have the wrong number, so they just now called and asked for Gerald and I said "he's dead!!!!" And the woman said "he's dead?...when did he die?" I said, "he died yesterday, I killed him" she said "WHAT???? Did you say you killed him?" I said Yeap!!! Shot him right between the eyes....is there anything I can help you with?" Next thing I heard was "OH MY GOD" and she hung up. :)

they call me all day everyday- i filed a police report- they also call from a number that starts with 646- and they scam people out of money- they are the most annoying people in the universe and try to make it like they have an english accent and then it falls back into their real accent of a pakiston type- someone needs to shut this number down asap- the police dont help/wont help/dont care that they are scamming people and harrasing people, pretty sad society

This number calls us everyday, up to 12 times per day.

Get dozens and dozens of calls to my cell every day of the week...all hours of the day. Sometimes back to back to back. For the most part, they are just immediate hangups or not saying anything for few seconds then hangup.  The two times I did speak with a live person, I asked them to stop calling me immediately.  Extremely hard to understand their heavy foreign accents. The calls still continue. Everyday. All day. Even added them to my BLOCK VOICE list with Sprint and the calls still come through. Gonna take it up with Sprint now to see why. Their harassing phones calls costed me my last job. (was homeless for a week because of that..) Work just couldn't understand that telling them to stop doesn't work.

I never applied for a loan, yet these people keep calling and saying that I have. Well I snapped one day when they called. I am bipolar, and when that happens, we are kind of stuck in that state for days, and it very very very much sucks.

So, my apt got tore up, body cut up. You know, I'm a vrigin, almost in his 40s, completely nuts, so, yeah. Seriously. 1 more call from them, and I am done. Whether its myself, if I somehow track them, or just the first a***ole i run into. I'm getting out of here. Screw these harassing a** people.

Actually, unwanted calls ARE against the law (accidental calls aside) - if you have signed up with the DNC list, then only political calls, charity calls and surveys are allowed.  Even if you have had a business relationship within the past 18 months of any business calling, if you tell them to remove your number from their list, they must do so.

I got 22 calls on 4/6 from these clowns. I've tried ignoring the rings. They get my machine & just say "hello" enough to trigger voice mail.  If I answer, they don't respond.  They called approx every 10 min on that particular day. It's always a different voice & I can her ton's of other "solicitors" in the background.   4/13 I got 8 calls,  on 4/3 - 4/12 another 8 calls.  Tried *77 to block, but didn't work. I am also seeing a pattern that the # changed about weekly. Have also had 800-573-6975, & this past Saturday was getting calls from N**** & Mexico!!!!   will try the Verizon call #.

I've had this number (888-573-6970) call me 3-4 times a day, for the last week now. Its highly annoying.

I've had this number call me twice a day, and from 811-915-000 (yes, it does only have 9 numbers!) and 990-238-4283, calling (with an Asian accent) "Is Christy there?" (my reply) "No, you have the wrong number" (his) "Oh, I'm sorry! (*click*)" everytime I answer, same exact conversation. I'm not Christy, and no body I know is either.

calls will not stop what do you do?

They are a payday loan company that is using a call center from one of the Asian countries

I have received many calls from this number with no one on the other end.  I want these calls stopped!

I have received numerous calls from 888-573-6970. They ask about a Payday loan.  I have asked them not to call me again several times....the last time they called was today at 2:16 and then again at 2:55, I stated that I have asked them to stop calling me and the guy said "Really...I have never spoke to you before so how could you tell me that you stupid a**".  This number needs to be shut down.

This number is calling my 12 yr old pre-paid number several times a day.  Is there anything that can be done? When I call the number back the response is "The number you have called is not in service".

Keep getting calls from this number, they don't leave a message on voice mail, keeps calling constantly. how to stop them form calling? Caller id shows unavaiable. That's what I say I'm unavailable.

I have been getting these calls several times per day for weeks.  I have asked many times "put me on your do not call list".  They are not asking for me by name.  Very irritating, and charging me on my cell phone.  

Please advise.

Keep calling over and over looking for somebody other than me. It's to the point of harassment. I've told them to stop but they won't. I've put the number they are calling to on the do not call list.
