Stop the calls please!!

Stopped calling for a long while now back at it again. They keep calling at the same time(s) now. Up to 4x's a day. Does reporting them really help? Or to be put on a Do Not Call List? Its getting rather annoying. Still refuse to pick up and let the voicemail get it... and nothing.. And they are calling a cell phone.

I get calls from this number at least twice every day! Will not leave message. I have this number on my blocked senders list of my phone, but it is still annoying to have it ring 2-3 times every day!!  Wish something could be done about it.

This number has been calling me once or twice a day for the last week.  I haven't answered any of the calls (I don't answer the phone when I don't know the number).   They have yet to leave me any sort of message. Doing this is rapidly placing whoever it is BEYOND annoying.

They call every day.  I can not get on their "do not call" list.  They are harassing me.

Receiving calls from this number early in the AM and late in the PM. I am on Do Not Call List but it doesn't seem to matter.

We received every day for abour 2 weeks now  calls from the following telephone number: 888 576 8472. When we answer it, nobody talks to us but it is annoying.  Our telephone number is listed in the "do not call list" but these people call anyway. This is very annoying, because we expect many calls right now, so we always run to the telephone.

Getting calls almost every day.

Called left no voicemail.

I got the phone two months ago and put it on the do not call list that first week. I have been getting calls 2-3 times a day. when I try calling them no one answers and both the do not call boxes are full. Telling me I'm not the only one with this problem. I plan to file charges with the FCC and do not call listing.

File a complaint with the fcc.gov, there is an online form. They cannot call anyone using a spoofed id(fake) or number. They id shows Hollywood  Fl or Plano TX , or any fake id or number, this is illegal as of Dec 2010. Please file a complaint or a law suit. . Please make a difference file a complaint under spoofed calls. I also filed a complaint in the state of Florida since they need a license to call you in Florida. Committing a federal felony such as spoofing should get their license revoked.

Constant nusiance calls from this number

They seem to be calling me Once a day. I'm cleaning out my phone and it seems to be around the same time. Does anyone know the most effective way to get rid of these calls or report them? I really don't care, (will continue on putting them to voicemail.)but would like there to be something done if they are calling so many people. Thanks aga good luck everyone! :)

Called me on my cell, didn't recognize the number so put it to voicemail, no message.

Personal Opinion: When I followed the link the TNCI website, I found only one link within the TNCI web site actually worked. The site links for "About Us", "Products and Services", "Become an Agent", "Become a Customer" all failed to link to the stated page. This seemed odd, given this company purports to be on the cutting edge of modern telecommunications. My teenage son has fewer dead links on his personal web page than this 21st century digital communications provider. Ultimately, only one link on the site actually worked. A link to an article published by an industry magazine. Further investigation led to the following information: about TNCI:

I do not know if this information is correct, because the company website links didn't work. It wouldn't surprise me if it turned out that this company is little more than an unscrupulous telemarketer
masquerading as a high tech telecommunications company.

Not just the Union Leader -- my calls have been on behalf of the Sacramento Bee. I gave the woman an earful, telling her that it's a cellphone number and that I already subscribe. Although maybe not for much longer due to using sleazy telemarketing companies...

Ditto for me. The # (888) 576-8472 appeared on my phone as a recent call but no VM was left. When I called the #, I was told that the voice mailbox belonging to this # was full, "so please hang up."

How do we stop these people? And what do they want?

Phone call on a magicjack phone came in at 12:09am -- Totally ridiculous!

It is the Manchester Union leader, lots of times dead air. Other times they are trying to sell me a subscription,I have told them No,no,no and take me off thru list, and they still call me the next day or so.

Same as everyone else. Never thought about voice recognition. Could be checking for people not home so they can rob your house, too. I don't anwser not enough time to reach phone. If they can't leave a message too bad for them.. Comes up unknown name..

On the Do Not Call list yet keep getting calls like this.  They call all hours of the Day. With My Husband in the Hosp., Parents out of State, have not slept in sometime. It needs to stop

I keep getting calls from both numbers.  Don't answer them people.  There is no way they are trying to sell anything or there wouldn't be so many occasions of dead air.  They are gathering info from us. What I don't know but it can't be good.  It could even be voice recognition collection, when you are home..etc..... Just don't answer it.
