RIP OFF!!!
There is NOTHING NOTHING NOTHING stating that they will charge you and I also am refused my refund because they didn't get it to their warehouse within MY 30 days! TWO DAYS!! Total scam! Sorry to inconvenience us??? BullS%$#!!
If you're so sorry, than do something about it!
I've sent several complaints to every BBB that I have an address for your dumbass company! I encourage all of you to do the same!
They refused to allow me to speak to a manager or supervisor, they refused to tell me where they sent me the "confirmation" that stated I would be getting charged $87.62 on the 15th day! They sent NOTHING with the package, just a phone number on the package, I called, they didn't mention the $87.62 charge in that phone call. None of my e-mails say anything about charging me! NONE OF THEM!!!
You're sorry?? MY A**!!

SAme thing here. I reside in New Zealand and made and online purchase for a free trial, so I only had to cover postage. Yeh right, the SOB's billed me as I failed to return the free trial in time???? Well I have cancelled my card and reported them to numerous investigative services, both here and in the states.
I did find out that this number is registered to a Jesse WIlliams, who is a known scam artist and has been arrested numerous times and released!!
The reason why is that he mass buys these products and the manufacturer is scoring so charges are not supported by the retailer!! When does the customer count?
If I met this wimp in an alley, you can be sure to know what I would do to him

noones home on your number or your computer address and you know that apology notes are popping up on all the web sites ,,but your lying we said on your policy that anyone can cancell at any/time. you just wont answer the phone so they can do that ...we are on to this game ,, your not the first but you will be the last to think you could so easily do this and get away with stealing after getting free bottles and offering them for a fee to get cc numbers to auto/pay and not allow the cancellations.

There is no such web site because it is a blanket response used for whoever complains about the Acai Berry product, or that tooth-whitening product, being a scam.  They are trying to redirect you regarding the automatic charges and blame you for not reading the fine print regarding the cancellation.  Everyone may need a magnifying glass in the future to read all of the fine print !

The phone number (502) 324-1690 is out of West Point Kentucky.  Since my last post, the 69 pages of complaints associated with this number have mysteriously disappeared. This also coincided with a news story on WHAS11 regarding the Acai Berry Scam.  I have been harassed by this phone number calling me.  The number is answered AcaiSlim.  If they are a legitimate company, why can't the number be traced?  Why, when you place an order through them, does it show up as "BETTERDETOX" on your charge with a phone number that has been disconnected?  And why, when you call a different number they give you 888-591-2190, is there a wait in excess of 15 minutes to get a real person?  BECAUSE IT IS ALL A SCAM.  Read the reviews.  A registered dietician interviewed stated that there was absolutely no medical proof that the Acai Berry products made you lose weight.  The only truth is that it is a great antioxidant, but so are blueberries and any other dark berries.  This is just a way to get your money and then when you try to cancel, they try to tell you that people should stay on it for a full 6 months to see all of the benefits.  By that time your trial is long over and they have 6 payments of 80 some dollars.  You can join Jenny Craig or NutriSystem, both proven diet plans, for this much money.

Acai Slim is a scam!!!
They refuse to give me my refund!
They stole $90.25 from me and told me that if I mailed back the product that I would receive a full refund. They are now refusing to give me my money back, they refused to let me speak with a manager or supervisor stating that there was nothing that they could do!
Here's the list from the BBB (Better Business Bureau) that gives you all of the names of this company.
Please file a complaint with them as soon as you can! This response from the company is the same one that they give on everyone of these complaint web sites!

This was not ordered on the Internet.  It was ordered via a telemarketer calling from (502) 324-1690.  They talked me into the 14-day trial; however, it took me 15 days to receive the product, although I was told it would ship in 2 days when I addressed this concern (if the 14 days was counted from the date ordered).  When I googled the phone number (502) 324-1690, 69 pages of complaints came up. Also, the charge was made to BETTERDETOX, not Acai-Slim which is how they answer the phone.  The number associated with BETTERDETOX  (company that charged my account) on my credit card statement has been disconnected.  They are now calling me 5-6 times a day and harassing me (the number (502) 324-1690.  This is a "private" number with no listing.  If it is a legitimate Acai-Slim distributor, why is the number unlisted, untraceable and private?

Telemarketer
I received a local call from (502) 324-1690 about the Acaislim product.  They talked me into a trial for $1.00 S&H and said I had a 14-day free trial.  The charge showed up on my online banking as BETTERDETOX with a contact number of 866-332-2707, which is the number all over the Internet as being a scam.  However, the lady who called me gave me another number, 888-591-2190. I called back the local number today and an automated answering service did answer as "Acai" and put me on hold.  When you call 888-591-2190, you get a recording that says "thank you for holding, an operator will be with you shortly." I have canceled my debit card so they cannot charge me anymore than the $1.00 they already charged me.
