I am getting the same calls from the number!!

This number calls multiple times every day and when you answer it no one is there!! I am getting sick of it..

I guess it is a telemarketing cover up. This number shows up constantly on my cell phone caller i.d. The two times I decided to answer, there was only silence. By the way, I don't do business with blockbuster or gmac, so it appears to be an attempt used by any telemarketer.

They know my namei guess i owe someone money but they do not give any more info than that.did call them back and they wanted payment over the phone.

This phone numbers calls me incessantly. I have no idea who this is, but it looks like a debt collector or something. I want this tostop.

You can always call your phone company and have them block all calls that don't give a number or who is calling. The message will say that to the party on the other line and your phone won't even ring.

People, don't get so upset with these calls. Make a game of it. Especially the ones that want to come to your home to handle refinancing of mortgages. I have them show up and tell them at the door that I am wasting their time because they wated mine. They have your address so have them mail you information with postage paid return envelopes. Cut and paste to a box of junk mail and send it back to them. They pay the shipping and you smile knowing they won't call you again. You can't stop them from getting around the laws so you can make it expensive for them.

This number appeared on my checking account as a debit card transaction for $9.65. Company named alongside was "List Services". Called phone number and got a disconnected recording. My bank has no further info on this transaction (company location, etc...). Google says List Services is a "marketing company"; and searching for this phone number found nothing but boards like this one with complaints. Sounds like phishing to me!!

My credit card company just credited my bill for the $9.65 charge that showed up for this number and company - suggest you all try the same.
