I received a call on my mobile phone from number 888-597-5730. They left no message.

I started receiving phone calls from this number daily but they never left a message. I called back the number and it is indeed "Freeman Transportation", they were marketing their Tradeshow equipment. This is a company phone which previous belonged to our Marketing Director so I figured we used them in the past. If you don't want them to contact you, simply request your number to be removed.

After reading *Snick*'s post, called the number back (didn't answer when they called--looked it up here first), they answered Freeman Transportation.  This is a valid company, part of the Freeman group that does convention decorating and such.  This branch transports equipment and displays for people who exhibit at trade shows.  They were wanting to know if I needed anything transported for the Home and Garden Show I am exhibiting at in 1-08.  As for the Herald Tribune? not a clue.

Received call this morning stating they were from the Herald Tribune and wanted to know if I received my paper today.  Never signed up to receive the paper, asked the caller what address they had on file and he couldn't tell me.  Told him I wanted to be taken off the list.  He was only able to give me the listed name and phone number.  Beware.  Also, no paper was in the yard this morning either.  Called the number back and they answered with Freeman Transportation, but really am not sure if that is a valid company name at this point.
