Left message to call this number with reference to a case number from James associated with a person in the name of my ex spouse.  Called multiple times telling them I had no affiliation with person of this name in FL or in KY under this name when divorced for over 20 years.  Told multiple times to take my name of list and stop calling.  They kept calling and started calling my cell and my husband's making more threatening and harassing calls.  They have been reported to the Tx Atty General, the CA Attorney General, the FTC and the BBB as of tonight.  They will leave me alone at some point b/c I have absolutely no affiliation to the person they are trying to reach. When you google 888 number above you get references to complaints for firm below at 9227 Hale Ave Ste 350 Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730, phone 951-258-9619.

James, or whatever his stupid name is, called me.  I learned they are Financial Asset Security Team, phone # 951-268-9619 and located at 9227 Haven Avenue, Suite 350, Rancho Cucamonga California 91730.

FAST LLC also know as Financial Asset Security Team, LLC is a scam, DON'T PAY THEM A DIME. They won't sue you, nor can they collect any money since they don't own your debt. Mine was dismissed through bankruptcy court, where they probably obtained my info. Nevertheless, they unlawfully call in the hope you're stupid enough to pay them.

Do you really want to help others like you who have been, or being, victimized/harassed by these blood-suckers?  REPORT THEM to the BBB (Better Business Bureau) and to the FCC Consumer Complaints now!

I have received the same message as the other posts from a blocked number and the girl gave no company information or name. She said they needed me to call back to verify my location. When I called back a very rude guy answered and wouldn't tell me his name and hung up on me. The girl asked for me by my ex husbands last name which I haven't used in 15 years. Very strange!

And an 888 Number would have to be landline.. as it's a toll free number... No? Im pretty sure i cant call Verizon and ask for a 888 for my cell..

I have been receiving these calls since Feb. 2013 and they called at 5:30p or 8:30p. All I heard was a beep. Then left calls go to answer machine. In May they left messages to call regarding my account and it was urgent but the number was bogus when I called all I got was a beep. I avoided calling back with their future calls and erased their messages. In late June they said a delivery would be made that night and I had to be there to sign. I had nothing going on and curious, no one showed up. They called again and I finally was home to answer call and asked what they wanted. He explained a letter is to be delivered and must be signed upon receiving. I asked about "important letter" and what it contained or regard. He said he didn't know he only works for the delivery service. I kept pressing for info, and he finally gave me a "good" number to call. I called and it was as if I called someone's home. He answered Hello and I asked who I was speaking to. He said I called him I should know who I am calling. These idiots didn't know I retired from ATT so I played him along. I explained I was given his number to call regarding the "letter to be delivered." OK now I had him in explaining about the previous calls explaining "the issue at hand" which he said explained the calls. I said the beep calls on my answer machine? After pressing for answers, he said it was important because it was a debt left unpaid. I said that is not true. He began arguing with me so I finally said "Sir I just made a major purchase and the dealership mentioned how they wish more people came in with perfect credit which would make their job easier." He was dumbfounded and I hung up. He called me back. I hung up again and I called 911 to report the call and the phone number that finally showed up on my caller ID from his callback to argue some more which I hung up. The 911 person and I both looked up the number and he said its about a debt collection. I also read the same info and explained no way with making a large purchase recently. He said they keep these numbers and if I get another call to call 911 again. About an hour went by and its now 9:30pm and the idiot called back. I listened to what he had to say and then I told him I called 911 to report the prank calls and to get my number off their list. He was really hot then and I simply said if you call again I will continue to report the calls and file a complaint to the FCC. I hung up and the calls stopped. Here we are Aug. 23 and call left on my answer machine again to call 888-598-6945 which is the same number I called before and report to 911. Now I am filing a complaint to the FCC. This is so bogus and they called the person to mess with. I suggest others file a claim to FCC so they will shut this number down and spare us these nonsense calls. Best of all, they never would give their company name, only say they work for a major company...dah!! Idiots.

Right after they left messages for me this afternoon, they called my husband twice on his cell number.  Good thing I called my husband first and alerted him.  He recorded both calls he got and we turned over the recordings to the police to include in our complaint and also to include in their investigation.  We gave them everything we have to assist in their investigation.

1.   I Received 2 phone calls today from a "blocked number", one at home and one on my mobile.  I almost answered my mobile but my cell battery died......good thing.  But they left a message.  They stated that my assets are being evaluated for a possible lawsuit.  1 messages left on each number indicated the same message and a file number.  Wanting to deliver some papers to me, and they left the number #888-598-6845 to call back. I did not call back. I am not in any possible situation to be involved in a lawsuit at all...so this was confusing and scary at first.  Before I panicked I remember my husband got a similar phone call last week.

2.  Last week my husband got a call from a guy with a message they are trying to locate him for "debt collection" and want to serve papers to him.  My husband called back and did not give out any information but finally got rid of him.  My husband was not sure if this was for real so he wanted to see and that is why he called them back.  He suspected at first that they were looking for someone else with his name.  He thought he had straightened it up and did not think twice about it till I told him what happened today.  

This called seemed similar to me so I looked on the "caller ID" for the call my husband got and it was from this same number (888-598-6845).  The same number I was given today to call in my messages I received today.

I googled the number 888-598-6845 to see what I could find, and see all the comments.  So I know now what kind of people are calling me and my husband.  

WE JUST GOT BACK FROM THE LOCAL POLICE DEPARTMENT/AUTHORITIES.  WE JUST FILED A  FORMAL REPORT ON THIS NUMBER OFFICIALLY.  YOU ALL SHOULD DO THIS TO.  NO SURPRISE TO ME THAT THIS NUMBER IS ALREADY UNDER INVESTIGATION AND IS BEING HANDLED BY THE AUTHORITIES NOW.  SO HOPEFULLY THEY WILL BE CAUGHT SOON.

Received 2 phone calls this morning on our home phone from Charles Lawson at 1-888-598-6845 advising he was trying to locate a certain individual and needed verification of whereabouts, job, etc.  I called the number back and asked that they take my number off because the person they were asking for does not live at my house.  He said there was to be a decision made today on a matter pending and said he could not divulge full information to me since it did not involve me personally & said he could not tell me whether or not they are a collection agency, but that I could probably read between the lines.   Mr. Lawson provided me with a file number to reference and stated that ignoring this matter would only make a molehill turn into a mountain.    When I called the toll free number back, he answered as Corporate Office but would give no other information other than they are a national processing location company.   This is definitely one of those scams and anyone who receives this call needs to report it to their Attorney General for investigation.     Charles Lawson, GET A REAL JOB AND STOP TRYING TO SCAM REAL WORKING PEOPLE.   YOU ARE JUST SCUM IN MY OPINION !!!!!!

They verify for creditors... Buying a car or house?

My family has been harassed by these people.  It is obvious that Michael Romero, who has posted above that he has been served, is one of the people working for this so called "collection agency".  They are totally bogus.  I gave them my address and they continued to call and harass my friends and family.  I guess they think they will eventually get someone to give them some money if they are annoying enough.  However, if I was going to pay anything this would totally change my mind.  They are unprofessional and rude.  They don't give a company name and answer the phone "corporate office".  The person that is supposed to be leaving a voice message is the "process server" but the only number they leave is to the "corporate office". WTF? So, you think I'm just going to give my money to someone who cannot identify the company they are working for. Dummies!!!!

Someone called saying there is a lawsuit against me. They called my about 4 people in my wife's family looking for me. They knew my last 3 addresses. They would not state what company they were. I think they are Financial Asset Security Team located in Cucamonga California. They said they want to know where I will be so they can serve me with papers. Good luck finding me.

I was the one who posted above you. I was looking up some laws on collection agencies earlier because even though my boyfriend (who is a police officer) assured me that everything about these people is insanely fake, I was still freaking out. Go to collectionagencydebt.blogspot.com and go to "can bill collectors call your family?" It had a lot of really helpful information. It said that debt collectors can only call family, friends, or workplace if they cannot locate the debtor. If they do call call family family, they can only do so once, but cannot give them any information. It's illegal to give family members (or anyone else for that matter) any information about your debt, so if your husband and daughter are getting the same message as you, I would call them and tell them not to call back....

My husband, my daughter, and myself have all been called on our cell phones.  A little worried that they could obtain cell phone information.  Also called the Human Resource Dept. of my and husband's employer and left same message about being served, with number to call and claim number.  Wondering if calling employer's is legal and who would I contact to file a complaint?

I have been getting these restricted calls, as well. I have also gotten the same message as everyone else. I finally called them when they decided to call my mom. He said if I voluntarily paid they would take $600 off IF I paid the $350 right then. When I told them I didn't have the money this Michael Romero guy had the guts to ask me if if I had any friends or family that could help me. He also told me that they sent 2 notices to my workplace. I'm a full-time student; I don't have a job!!  I decided to lookup the call back number they gave me. It was some 909 number....low and behold, it's a freakin CELL PHONE from California. I hope someone catches these jerks!!

They called from a restricted number then left I message that they needed to told to be before serving legal papers.  I called back and no one would ID the company which is illegal.  I ask whey they are trying to reach me.  The guy said they make no outbound calls.  I then told him he must called in error and hung up.  Then they left a message on my sick mother's cell phone.  I am going to report them to my state's AG office.  I work in a call center and it is illegal not to give your full name, company name and address when a person asks.  I would advise others to do the same.

They have called my house looking for someone with a different first name. But I flipped out when they started calling my mom's house. So I finally called back & the guy was an idiot. Of course I wasnt very nice either. Why should innocent people have to put up with this s***? I called the cops to report them becuz my elderly mom should not be subject to this harrasment, for someone unrelated to us. I am sure they will continue to call.

Called my cell and my unlisted, nonpublished home phone from a restricted number  and left a voicemail saying a suit has been filed against me and I needed to call 888-598-6845 and reference a claim number to verify my location so I can be served and avoid further legal action against me and to verify that I will be available to receive these documents and where...called the number and asked who I was speaking with and he said his name was Phillip Sanchez, asked him who he was with, would not say, just said I needed to talk to the legal dept. Asked him how he got my cell number and unlisted phone number and he said it was available in a national data information bank for matters like this, I told him I highly doubted that, but he knew who I was, as my number did not come up as restricted like it is supposed to when I call people, told him if he did not tell me who he was with I was going to hang up and I asked him this 3 times...he finally said hang up then...I'm sure they will call back

After getting a few of these calls i was served at work.. i like a few of you thought SCAM. But they had all my info and even the account # i've done my research on the company and i know why they did serve me.. they might not serve everyone.. if your renting/living at home with mom dont own a car or anything else.. they probably wont come after you.. but if you OWN a business, house, car like me i think they will. Balance i owed was $1167.86 coming after me for $2600

Calling and leaving threatening voicemails...it's a scam!  No one has a judgment against me and there are no certified papers that will arrive at any time soon.
