I also got linked into this call from another promotional call where I was trying to purchase something, and yes, the caller was quite pushy, and didn't get to the $118 charge until well into the conversation. However I believe this is a real promotional call for a short cruise to the Bahamas from Florida - see their web info at
https://www.bahamascelebration.com/Excursions-Celebration-Cruise-Line.html
so if you want to go some time within the 18 months they offer, give it a shot.

Looks like a shill for the fraud here.  Definitely a credit card phishing fraud.

I got a text saying I won a free Bahama Cruise. Called the number spoke to one girl who didn't even let me speak(might have been a recording), and was instantly transferred to another woman named Brandy. She started enthusiastically telling me about the cruise and then told me that I would have to pay port taxes through the government, totaling $118 for two people. I told her I didn't feel comfortable giving my info over the phone and if there was a local travel agency they were affiliated with that I could go to and that I was also confused because I didn't sign up for any contest. She started stuttering and tripping over her words and then transferred me to someone else. The next woman I spoke too, Ann, never really answered my question. After asking if there was someplace I could go to speak to a representative, she just explained the trip details again and transferred me back to Brandy who reintroduced herself and broke out in the SAME cruise information. I told her that I already spoke to her and that neither her nor Ann answered my question. She transferred me AGAIN to Ann who started the SAME trip detail speech yet again. After re-introducing myself, she told me that I had to hurry and claim my trip now because they were very busy and had a lot of people calling in to claim the deal so I needed to secure my trip now by paying the taxes and I would get an email in 48 hours verifying this. I again told her that I did not want to give my info over the phone and would like to personally go to an agency they were affiliated with and she just said that it was not possible because they were located in Florida. I told her that that didn't make sense because she had told me earlier that they were a big name company and were connected to big name companies. She changed the subject by asking what credit card company I had so I asked her how she got my information because I never entered a contest. She said I probably bought something online recently and they instantly enrolled me (my only online purchase in the past 6 months was from harrypotter.com, so I highly doubt it). I asked what companies she's affiliated with so I can check online and she said that I won't find anything there about this particular deal and I only have one call to decide if I want the deal. She then started asking for my number, in case we got disconnected. When I stated that she should already have it because that's how they sent me the text in the first place she said that we were transferred through different companies, but when I asked her what company I first spoke to, she changed the subject back to how amazing this trip was. The trip destination also changed from the Bahamas to the Caribbean.
All together I was transferred 6 times to the same people and asked to give my card info at least 16 times.
I can't go to a travel agency, but they are a reputable company connected to big names like Caribbean, Carnival and Disney?
I refused the trip and hung up and they have already attempted to call me back 3 times, but when I asked if I could call back, I wasn't allowed.
I have looked up this number and saw that everyone had the same issues. In my opinion it is a huge scam. Do NOT fall for it.

I got a call from some automated service, a woman's voice!  Was qualified with four(4) questions...(B.S. Questions)  then transferred to some guy, Bryrun ...at Caribbean Cruises.  He asked for my name, I gave him a fake first name.  He rambled on about all the amenities of the cruise, then asked for my phone number, in case we got disconnected.  I did not provide him with it.  He continues to ramble.....while I am listening to his nonsense, I get a legit phone call.  I answered my call and lost the connection with the cruise line.  After my call was over with, I get another call , from the guy Bryron!!  I asked how he got the number, he said he gave it to me.  I did not do that.  Trippy folks

This call came at 1:30AM. Who on earth calls in the middle of the night? With as many comments about the ongoing bothersome calls, why have they not been shut down? Registering with the Do Not Call list doesn't seem to help.

I received a call asking to participate in a political survey after which I completed, was patched through to a scetchy sounding operator who was part coughing and part talking about a free cruise. She would not identify her business name nor would she give me a phone number just stated that I would only have to pay "port fees" in the amount of $59 in order to receive my cruise.

I did not believe this was a real thing, nor would I ever choose to take a cruise vacation, so just for fun I asked that she call me the next day.  I was mainly curious if she would and if I would get additional information by the number that would show up on my phone.  Well...I'm sorry I did that because this lady has called me 8 times in the past 2 hours.

I am going to work on getting them reported.

can you please contact me krpresjak@gmail.com i am very interested in this and i got the call from being selected from a card i use. a discount prescription card.. and she and i talked about unrelated issues, thought maybe she was just a lonely woman and said that she had something for me.. bc i took time to listen unlike ohter ppl so i thought hmm she said hang up if u want like other ppl do but it honestly would prob. be a regret. chose to listen and it was about carribean airlines cruise. i spoke to that gentleman for over an hour. i do customer service / sales for a living and i know everything  about it . every catch scheme u name it. it honestly sounds VERY legit. They cannot lie. seriously. YOu CANNOT. lol. but the 65 dollars (if one person) 118 (if u take 2 ppl) they ask u to pay is for GOVERMENT PORT TAX you have to pay that anyways. and plus no matter where u live the cruise ship cant pick u up lol.. u gotta go to a port lol.. if u order a plan ticket months in advance u can get them for 50 bucks or way cheap!! u have 18 months to use the tickets!

curious if u seriously tried it and how it wasnt true.. bc i went thru whole 9 yrds as i said its my profession..and i was the best in my company since i started so its hard to fool me when it comes to stuff like this. i spent very long time on the call trying to catch him up and recorded the call and played it back and nothing changed.. and it wasnt recorded at all bc he addressed me by name.. gave me his name his corporate id number his phone number and everything...maybe some people dont turn ur money into the company?? i need to know bc im getting married and this was fantastic.. this happened half hr right after my baptism!! :D

I called to cancel a subscription to Murad comestics and then she tried to tell me I could enter a sweepstakes and get 3 different magazines for only $1.99 for shipping. When I didn't want the magazines, she told me I won a 2 day cruise. After transferring my call, Michael Bradshaw, from Carribbean Cruise Lines agent ID # KB0165, talked to me about a 2 day 2 night cruise to the Bahamas. The "free" cruise catch was because you're travelling in international waters, you have to pay a $59 "port tax" per person in advance. You would receive confirmation of your tickets within 48 hours via email. He also said he was down in Tampa, FL where they had got lots of rain.  At this point, I said I wasn't interested, so they tried to transfer me to someone else when I hung up. They tried to call back, but we didn't answer. The voicemail he left was a partial phone number, as if he didn't even know where he was calling from! Most definitely a scam!

I received a call from this number and talked to the person about winning a cruise to the bahamas. They tried to fast talk me and make everything sound exciting. They told me it was a fee for $112 and wanted a credit card number. I asked if they had a website to verify and was told that I could only get the website after I paid. I told them I would call back after I looked up information on Carribean Cruise and I was told they are so busy that only one phone call a customer is allowed for this special opportunity. I told them then I guess I will pass. I then hung up the phone. They continue to call me back at least 2 times a day. This is ridiculous.

I have received at least three calls from this number stating that I won a 2-day cruise to the Bahamas because I completed a survey.  Needless to say I had not done so for any unknown entity, especially one asking personal information.

Today they woke me up.  Only after I repeated that I'm not interested and hung up did I realize they called me by my divorced name.

Also note that they will try to find out where you live.

They keep calling saying that I won a free cruise when I have no idea how I could have won something that I never have entered for. Upon talking to them they said that it was good for up to a year and whenever we wanted to redeem the tickets we would leave out of Florida. Sounds extremely weird when I live in Illinois.
