NFRS stands for National Fancy Rat Society.
The fax they sent was just trying to confirm you have a legitimate fax number they can sell. They don't want you to reply - the number they gave you was bogus.

First entry when googling NFRS is not "national fax removal service", but rather:

Broad faxes are illeagal.
Sue them is court. The fine is $500.00 for each fax sent. This money goes into your pocket.
Here is an Idea: Let's band together and compile these faxes. Then I will hire an attorney and we will extract our justice in court.
Anybody In?

I got a fax as follows: "Remove unwanted faxes! I don't want or need your fax number but send me your unwanted faxes and I will have them stopped! Send ALL unwanted faxes to: 1-888-606-2515 This is a free service from NFRS"
I tried looking up NFRS but didn't get anywhere. There was no other info on the fax, not even the fax number that the page originated from.
