Same here.  Got a fax at work and had to pay $380.  No one answers when I call back.  They listed e-mail as jetaway-travel, which is a play on a name, Jet Away Travel out of NY that is legit.  They (the NY company) warn others about the scam on their website.  You have little info to do your research up front.  When I did get an e-mail, there's no number, limited info, and the website looks like my infant granddaughter put it together.  I'm gonna fight these charges with my bank ASAP.  Here are the numbers I have for these MFs.  888-609-5515; call (866) 569-0547

Well, I called about the flyer I received on my fax machine today from a vacation company at 1-866-500-2044. James at extension 896 walked me through the whole process. He directed me to their official website www.adventurestoremember.com. I bought the whole thing hook line and sinker. after I hung up I started to think about the whole process and how they wanted to be paid and decided I need to to my research (sadly, after the fact). Everything I found out started raising red flag, after red flag, so I called James back up and instead of answering my concerns, he started popping off to me, so I told him to stfu and he transfered me to Mike Gonzalez who according to my research is the mastermind behind this whole thing. Mike re-assured me that this was all ligitimate. He sold me with his propaganda about how  their company made tons of money last year and assured me it was not from stealing $300.00 dollars at a time. Again, like a fool, hook line and sinker. I called back again to follow up on a few more concerns, and left a few message for James and Mike. Interestingly every time they called me, it was from a blocked number. Then the street address they gave me, I google earthed and it was a nail salon. 5018 Antoine Drive, Houston, Texas 77052. So then this chick Sarah calls me back and during the conversation I asked her several times what number she was calling from, finally she gave me 888-609-5515 which is the other number I researched and found to be a rip of as well. These people have some nerve. People work hard and want to have a dream vacation, and all these people do is crush that dream. Fortunately I stopped them before they could accesss my bank account.  I say anyone reading this should  stop and pick up a bottle of their favorite alcohol and drunk call my man Mike Gonzalez with questions on how he can actually sleep at night ripping people off until he loses his mind. One of the people on one of the scam reporting sites said he took great pleasure after being ripped off by calling and texting Mike so much that Mike actually gave him "some" of his money back. I hope this helps someone else from falling for Mike's b***s***.

This company is a complete scam:  Follow all the posting, do not work for this crook as you could be implicated in criminal activity.  See below links:

http://www.ripoffreport.com/tci-travel-consultan/travel-services/internet-internet-19fdc.htm

This company is trying to hire through craigslist in Houston.  Do not work there.

TCI Travel Consultants International New Worldwide Services, TCI Travel Consultants International, www.trip-professionals.com , Astro Travel Club TRAVEL SCAM... Layering Travel Scheme Internet.

I received a fax at my workplace from World Wide Travel. I spoke to Tristen and his Manager about booking a trip to Cancun Mexico that was on the flyer that was sent to my workplace. They said I would be charged a 'booking fee' for my trip. Once the fee was collected they would sent out by certified mail a 'Travel Voucher'. I could then call a 'booking agent' to book my trip. This ended up being a complete SCAM. The manager James ( 888-526-0004  ext 212 and 551) said he had some back doors where he could book my trip within a 60 day timeframe. When I called the number after I had received their package he nor Tristen could be reached and they said they have left the company and no one can help. The package was just a few, out of focus, prints that didn't explain anything... was just a general brochure. I had paid them $340 for a booking fee for 2 people and I wanted my money back but can't be refunded. I just called the customer service number and they said it was just changed from               888-400-3957       to               888-691-5515      ... just the run around. The company seems to have two locations in Englewood, CO and this one in Houston, TX. The manager I spoke to earlier in the day was very rude, said they would sue me for slander and hung up the phone. All I wanted was a vacation to Cancun that I was promised with the flight included at an All Inclusive Resort (Palace Resorts). The company said I will have to book the trip within 60 days of travel, but when I received the official information it said 90 days and I had to pay additional funds to the next person at Astro Travel aka the Travel Center               800-861-7313      . I called the customer service and other company numbers to no avail and no one would help... just the run around. Since I haven't gotten anything I want my money back and I want to warn others of this Fraudulent business. The manager that threatened me was Ed Roberts who said he was in Englewood, CO... but all the information I pulled up was out of Houston. The package I received certified was also from the address at 3346 TC Jester #H-4 Houston, TX 77018... there is no such business at this address.

UPDATE:  The company has been sold, or the scam seems to deepen, to TCI or Travel Consultants International in Englewood, CO.  Website:  www.trip-professionals.com               888-722-8860       .  After calling the real estate management office at the address posted online at: 400 Inverness Parkway Englewood, CO 80112 there is not such tenant under this name or any other travel company at this address (SCAM).  The website is a replica of the last one www.newworldwideservies.com .  The person I spoke to this time name was Leslie Warner who said she's worked at the company for 20 years and taken all sorts of trips with the company.  This is the exact same scam as last time.  They take your money over the phone saying that you are paying a 'Travel Voucher' then you will receive a package in the mail.  Then you 'activate' your voucher and call a booking agent all while paying an additional fee.  This is the same scam as before.  They get you by sending a fax to your workplace

Things to do: Report this immediately if this happens to you. Call your bank and report Fraud on your account.  Report to your Attorney Generals office or website, report to your local Better Business Bureau, report Mail Fraud as none of these locations are legit, this is interstate fraud too so contact your Chief of Commerce.
