Just got a call from United Healthcare(11-6-12).....said to call 1 888-611-3948 and enter a code.....when called back and entered code, voice said "message is expired, Goodbye."

I called United HealthCare and it appears the caller from this number is committing FRAUD. Don't call back as they will record your number as a callback and the calls you receive will increase. Report this to the FBI and FTC (donotcall.gov).

I called the UHC number on my card and they verified that 888-611-3948 is a legitimate UHC number. This was a reminder to get a colononscopy screen. Please be aware that as screens colonoscopy is fully covered. However, speaking from experience, if you are getting follow-up for polyps or have symptoms, your provider probably will not submit this as a screen and you will be responsible for some very large medical bills.

I got this automated call from United Healthcare on my answering machine. I called United Healthcare customer service and they said it is their automated calling system. I called 888-611-3948 from the same phone where the message was left, and the automated system asked if it was me calling and the year of my birth to verify it was me calling. No need to enter the 7 digit code, and no other personal questions were asked. Once the system verified that it was me, the system just reminded me to have a colon cancer screening.
This is a legitimate number and call from United Healthcare.

These idiots keep calling, since I have caller ID I do not bother answering a call I do not recognize the number. How do they get your personal information is beyond me, they should be prosecuted.

Since my caller ID showed a number, which I did not recognize, I do NOT bother to answer. Naturally, such a call from an area code, where I don't know anyone, is that of a huckster, a scam, some poll, or some other Micky Mouse nonsense. I never bother talking to people that want to scam others, play games, obtain information from me, or pull off some gimmick! This is BULL!!! They should all get lost!

same issue. Claiming to be united healthcare. they would never ask you to call back with a 7 digit number. United healthcare does not call you on weekends with an automated message. Don't call. They also left me a message with a birthdate that was incorrect.

If Unted Healthcare request any info they will always write/send it in the mail.Never give any personal info out to anyone over the phone! And when you do get anything in the mail give them a call on their proper # to confirm it's from them!

Robo call left a message claiming to be from UnitedHealthCare and to call back 1-888-611-3948 and enter a 7 digit code.
From a websearch, appears bogus, so did not call.
