Hector 2011-06-06 21:05:49 Unknown
The ACTUAL phone number of the company is 888-237-7149.

Corp Travel Dept. with toll free number 1-888-615-3203 are faxing us travel ad almost every other day. How can we stop them? We called them many times to take us off from their list. But apparently they won't take no for an answer.

This is no doubt a SCAM! I purchased a cancun trip and costa rica trip from a fax for $399 in 8/08 which was supposed to be good until 2/10. I called today to reserve and the phone number is disconnected and the website lowestpricecancun website is no longer. I would definitely say I was scammed.

These guys send a fax weekly to our fax machine. I have called numerous times to have the number removed. They do not do it. We called them numerous times to let them see how much fun this is. They called back and threatened physical and verbal retaliation. The telephone RAMBO I spoke to was very nasty and abusive. They tried to intimidate us into stopping. These people are SCAMMERS and DO NOT TRUST THEM.

SCAM....lowestpricecancun.com
I have yet to see someone post a review about the 5 star hotel and all inclusive package they bough for $150.00.
If it sounds too good to be true - it probably is!
DONTBuyIT 2008-09-16 23:17:48 Unknown
Just called them and they still have a homemade site up and running...but its a scam...TOTAL SCAM!
DONTBuyIT 2008-09-16 23:13:21 Unknown
I called and same thing however the website is up but I called them on the contact info., there is no name of a responsible party, there is no address and the customer service number is the same as reservations...uhhh if you are selling why do you want to be bothered with cancels...hmmm???
And if they have to try and talk 100MPH it cause they are trying to confuse you and sell you on something that crooked.

The www.lowestpricecancun.com website has apparently been deactivated. However, a Google search for that keyword revealed that they were apparently looking for someone to transfer the website's database contents over to these URLs:
1) Bestcancunrates.com
2) Affordcancun.com
3) Stayatcancun.com
4) CancunRus.com
5) Havefunincancun.com
You can see the Request For Bid document on Google's cached version of Elance's original document (Elance is a freelance software writers' broker):
http://74.125.45.104/search?q=cache:pAq61Jt3u ... lient=firefox-a
However, Elance has subsequently obscured the domain names on its own page.
The person who was awarded the project is only identified as "cleon" in Karnataka, IN, (probably Karnataka, India - There is no such town in Indiana! :D ) who indicated that it was a "repeat project".

Be Careful! We almost "bought" this package for our 25th wedding anniversary getaway. I'm going to take this "promotion" to our Human Resources Dept. and alert them of this fraudulent activity. They are really pushy and rude and they can call all they want and I still won't purchase their "fantasy package".

Useless fax regarding CANCUN OR MAYAN RIVIERA. It has to be a SPAMING technique to gain access to numbers when you call to be removed.
"One day sale only! Call now!" (on the bogus advert)
Apparently this sale takes place "everyday" since I get faxes "everyday" for "one day only" which means it's BOGUS SPAM!
The sad part is someone is so lame they actually make this their job "everyday" and make sure these crappy faxes go out.

They keep faxing me "Cancun or Myan Riveria" vacations, all inclusive, for low prices. I called the number to be removed from their faxing service (866-577-1660)and the greeting was to order broadband and cable services. This is a waste of paper and my time.

I called back and got a web address www.lowestpricecancun.com
The girl I spoke to had a heavy New York accent and yet said that she was from Mexico... yeah, right...also said that the $299 "All inclusive" offer had expired but she could honor it over the phone this time only. She couldn't explain why the fax had come today when the offer expired last Friday. Actually got connected with a supervisor named Zack...clearly an American... and he promised that we would be removed this time...I told him if that didn't happen that I would report them. Think I'm going to anyway!

We get several faxes from this company each month. Each time we get one I call the removal line and submit our fax number... Guess what? Surprise, we still get them!! I called the number today to see if I could actually speak to someone and got connected to an arguemenative man who would not answer my questions and interrupted me everytime I tried to talk. He said to me,"Lady just give me your friggin number and you get taken off."
Sure....I'm holding my breath until that happens...NOT!

I just received a fax regarding the cancun vacation and I called the phone number and they said they were located in mexico. The woman asked what phone number I received the fax at, so I told her, and then she hung up on me. I'm dreading this.

I got same fax a few times and requested that my number be deleted from their data base; however it has not been removed. I called AT&T (THE NEW ONE) and operators cannot trace the call. There has to be a way to stop those people from harassing. By the way, did anybody got faxes from BULL ENERGY, those come a 6am.

I called the number, the man on the other end said he was in Cancun Mexico, where the offer was.I started asking him question and ended up hanging up on me.
unknown 2008-07-09 02:40:19 Unknown
We ccalled the number on the fax, the man on the other end said he was in Cancun Mexico, where the "incredible offer was supposed to be". A fabulous 5-star resort for an amazing price. He ended up hanging up on us while we were talking it over.

Same story as above. They will not provide information, will not remove your number. As yet unknown sender. If anyone ids them, please post. They are violating California and federal law.
legalwiz 2008-07-02 23:17:19 Unknown
You will absolutely not be removed. We get at least 10 of these unsolicited faxes a day. The fax number they send these faxes to is the legal department in a very large corporation. I'm researching to find out how to reach someone (the number they list to "book your trip" rings without an answer)to advise them we are reporting them as illegally sending these unsolicited faxes.
