Just an FYI: at least for the state of PA if you are on the do not call list and they call you they have to pay you $1,000.00 for each call.. if you are over 60yrs then $3,000.00 per call.

Call the CEO personally ( see Dec 04 post) and ask for his home number, then call his home six times a day and not leave messages.

QUIT CALLING MY PHONE!!!!

Also identified himself as Randy from AEP and offered me 10% off my bill as long as I was not in a program. He then verified my old address from over a year ago when I adivsed him that it was not current. Asked me to provide new mailing address. I told him I did not feel comfortable providing this information to  someone who called me from a toll free number, that says he was with AEP, reminding him they have no problem with mailing me a bill to my current address. I asked if I could call him back at a number that I would recognize as AEP and he got very defensive stating, "Look man, we are offering this to everyone in the state of Ohio" then the line went dead. I mean really!! Are there ethics in Business Practices anymore? Thanks Randy for contributing most graciously to the downfall of our society. I hope you sleep well at night knowing how you manipualte people to get a paycheck. I guess this is too kind for someone like you... Get A Life, and I hope for your sake our paths never cross!!!!

Has called 10 times in 6 days. Super annoying!!

These people are scum......  I don't answer, but they keep calling.   If I ever find out who they are, maybe I can send a couple hundred thousand phone calls to them some how?   freakin scum.

I also got a phone call from this number, and they identify themselves as IDT energy, and they ask me to record some kind of messages to verify to the discount that they are going to apply to my electricity bill. I recorded couple times and it didn't get through for some reason, then I was really suspicious that it is a scam, then the guy seems it is hard to put me through this, then he just hang up.

It is a number that you can't return the call to. I really think this is a scam!

This number keeps calling me and never leaves a voice mail. Really annoying!

I never answer the phone when this number pops up, but they called twice in an hour and left no voicemail.

Got several calls from this number, never left a message.  Finally, i answered and it was 'IDT energy', offering to lower my electric bill.  I have heard of this scam before.  The lady, krystle, was very pushy and I felt odd answering in any way.  "This is IDT Energy and we are going to lower your electric bill, OK?"  

Do yourself a favor and don't answer.  It may not have been IDT energy, and just a scammer masking their caller ID.

I received a call from 888-618-2554 at 11:45 EDT on May 16, 2012. I politely identified myself with our family name. The caller said that his name was Randy. After 1 or 2 seconds he hung up and did not call again.

I received a call at 11:45 EDT from this number. I identified myself politely. The speaker at 888-618-2554 said that his name was Randy. After 2 or 3 seconds he disconnected and did not try to call back.

Get a call from this # 3-4 (sometimes more) times a day. Very annoying! They never leave a message, and I don't answer #'s that I don't know. The caller id only says 800 Service.
