keep calling at odd times and saying nothing or not liliving message

Have these people on my answering machine...what is the deal?

I keep getting calls from this phone number even when I answer the phone it is a recording. I look the number up and found out it belonged to Affiliated Credit Services, Inc which is some type of collection agency and they change their name or were bought out by Wakefield and Associates, Inc. which operates out of Fort Morgan Colorado. I called their toll-free number 1 888 289 2053 I spoke with the operator she punched in my telephone number and she told me my number was not in her system and must've been stuck in the old Robo calling system. She said she would give my number to their technical people to have my number removed and I should not receive calls from them anymore. We will see!!!

Called twice today and left no message.  Also called my cell..............how do they get my cell # as my number are unlisted.  If it's Excel, I'm current...............  If they call tomorrow, I'm reporting to the MN Attorney's General Office.

wonder how they got my name and number - it is annoying!

They call me 3 times a day and leave no message or say anything when i answer. How am i to know why they are calling if they dont respond!
If i owe them money then they need to come out and say so instead of playing childish games with my time!

This is a collecting agency for Xcel Energy. Its called Affiliate Credit Services out of Rochester, MN.

This is legit and an attempt to collect an xcel debt. Pay your balance and they go away.

just got a call from this number. they were a collection company. they asked for my EX girlfriend....i gave them her number haha

YOU LEGALLY HAVE TO SEND IT IN WRITING FOR THEM TO STOP..  ONLY IN THE STATE OF WI CAN THEY GIVE VERBAL CEASE AND COLLECTION AGENCIES HAVE TO FOLLOW

I work as a debt collector...if you tell them to cease your number then it becomes illegal for them to call u ever...u can sue them. Just say "cease" specifically!!!

please stop calling my number, I have no clue as to what the hell you people want.

I've been getting calls from this cridit agency & I dont owe anything so instead of them calling me early in the morning & instead of them ruin my morning--I call them to tell them Good Morning- I just wanted to tell you guys that I dont owe you anything (but I do this every morning before going to work) & they don't call me when I call them

I use to have a cell phone with Booste but just got a new cell phone accouint opened from Sprint...the very second day ive been getting calls from (888) 633-7229 &(800) 400-2188 & 7748283686237..I have been fixing my credit since the begining of the year & I know I dont owe any body so I haven't answered those calls since the first time they decided calling me....

wrong number asked for some chick after 10 seconds of silence i called them back refused to say anything other than wrong number and hung up on me

No idea why they called me.  What a waste of time.  I did not answer and never will.  It will be a cold day in hell when a collection agency would call me for any reason other than trying to collect something for my ex-wife.  Fat Chance.

I have been getting these calls now for some time. My oldest was seen by a doctor from Fargo ND he was over 18 yrs of age, yet this collection agency continues to behave as if "I" owe the bill. Frankly it was a SSI eval and my son should not have to pay any amount. So once again I'll have to take off time to go to court with my pile of papers and explain that someone made an oversight. In the mean time I have to deal with this person that continues to call.....

Constant annoying calls.

I'm contacting the attorney general to find out if this company is even licensed to collect in the state where I live. You wouldnt believe the number of collection agencies that try and collect where they are not licensed to! I've already busted a few. I've also heard that they are fake and just trying to get financial info. I work for a bank and have seen disputes from these people, too.

really tired on these continuous calls from this number, and when you answer there's no one on the other end of the line

this # calls every day 2 or 3 times....I pay my debts!!! geez getting pretty sick of it, cancel out this number...grrr  dont leave a message either..

I've received several calls from this number. I say hello twice and then hang up. If they are indeed a collection agency, I don't think they could possibly be very effective!!

i am really annoyed by this they call almost every day twice in the morning and twice at night.  answer the phone and nobody is there, i would like to find out for sure who this is and start calling them at home several times a day and let them hear the dead silence on the other end.  see how much it annoys them.  if it is a collection agency they suck real bad at it, i would think if your trying to get a debt settled you might want to talk to the person and let them know what you are calling about so it can be taken care of.  I hate auto dialer s places that use them and not pick up when the call is answered should be ran out of business.  they are within the law though since they never actually talk to you they can call as much as they want

This number has called my phone in the past and i dont answer anymore and the number finally left a message and it was static and some sort of music in the backround

these people have called me off and on for 9 years saying I owe a hospital bill. that bill was taken care of 10 years ago because it was my husbands ex wifes that was put on my account! i have told them numerous times to mail me the information because i want to see what i supposedly owe-they actually told me I had to get it from the hospital!  Told them if they expected me to pay something, they were the ones that have to prove it to me!  what jerks!!!

About 15 days ago I signed a 2-year contract with T-Mobile. Call from this number and other 1-800 numbers started immediately. This phone is used by my 13-year old son and we don't owe money or anything to anybody. Very annoying. What to do?
