this caller apparently is from a cruise scam and this number keeps calling all hours of the day, it must be reported.

the telephone # of 888-636-0714 has harrassed me for days.  they will not leave a message and if i do answer they won't say a word.  i plan to turn them into the credit bureau.  there actions are unprofessional!!!!!!!  also, they call out of the time limit for telephone marketers or collection.  i rec'd statement from comcast yesterday (02-15-10) and my bill is not due until (02-24-10).  do not give them any infor.

I have been getting recorded calls on my answering machine for several days from this number. They leave a message saying "please call about your comcast (cable) bill" and then recite this phone number. I finally called back several times today, only to get a recording that " the office  is now closed, please call back between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. central standard time".  It is waaayyy past 9 a.m. CST and still the same recording. Decided to check the number out and glad I did!! I won't be returning their calls anymore!!

Most of my callers thank me for reminding them and are glad to have the opportunity to pay over the phone without a phone fee.  If Comcast had not sent us your number we couldn't have called you. Many think that they are on time with their payment if they pay just before the cutoff date. Also many will admit that they customarily pay late, then when they forget, guess what happens..

Got a call them this afternoon (Sunday) during nap time for my kids. Didn't answer, but am furious it's related to Comcast. We had our first month and installation fee waived due to poor customer service, yet every other month we have a "courtesy call" from them to collect on this. The last CS rep we talked to about this actually said "Well, you're two-months late on your payments. Could be why you aren't getting any good customer service." Considering we were NOT two-months late, that was a joke. A manager even gave us another $50 credit because of it.

I'm sick of this service - every other month we can't even order PPV because of their mistake. The first time it happened was when both my kids were sick with the flu. Now to get DEBT COLLECTION payments ?! It doesn't get classier than that.

Just got a call from them & didn't answer as was to my cell phone. I looked up the number & found it here. I logged on to my Comcast account & it showed I accessed it this morning at 8:33 am NOT....I just changed my password there & reentered the site & it showed my last log in was when I changed my password. I wonder if  someone in Comcast is hacking peoples accounts? I don't even think Comcast has my cell phone number!

This number keeps caling my number# 501-353-8273.  I have called them and keep tell I'm not the person they are looking. Have told them about 7 time in last 3 monthes. I wish they would not call my number.

I got a call from them and I don't owe any money to Comcast. I switched to them after being with Direct TV for years because they really lowballed a monthly rate. Come to find out it's crap and I wound up paying more in the 3 weeks with them than I did in the previous month with Direct TV. Didn't take much to change me back to Direct TV really quick.

I get this call once a month. I verified with Comcast directly that they have my cell phone attached to someone else's delinquent bill. At least mine is ok! But this is annoying.

How did these people get my number? One more strike for me against Comcast. I just paid my bill yesterday. Monopolies. Sheesh. Don't they make enough off us consumers? I'm getting rid of my cable television subscription and just running the computer to the tv. They're too expensive anyway and having cable plus an internet full of Hulu.com etc.etc.etc. with everything online anyway is getting redundant. Did they really give my number to a collection agency? Seriously?

They have gotten more persistent over the week. Now they leave voicemails and call me at 8pm. I confronted them about being a scam because I know I do not owe Comcast any money since I am set up for automatic payments online and check to see my bill is paid every month. The operator kept insisting that I owe them money and need to provide my bank account information. I hung up. Talk about red flags everywhere.

I use Comcast, but am enrolled in automatic online payments so I know better than to give out any information over the phone. They have called about once a week the past month and hung up at Hello.

My bill is paid up to date. Not late. I got a call today my bill was overdue. Do not give them any information!

These guys are the pits.  I get a few calls about every other month.    I've had most of the same things happen that happened above.  I recognize the number now and I ignore it.  What a pain in the neck.

I agree with all the comments.  My service was interrupted and I had to call them and see what was going on.  They just called my bout 15 minutes ago and if they were really for comcast they would have known that I had already talked to someone and that I have to go into the store to pay my bill, I can't pay my over the phone...

They lie and say they are comcast. I got my bill today, and they called today. It's bogus crap. They are breaking the law.

got a call from this number, called it back to reach a recording say office is closed. I google search the number and found that this should be avoided. Fortunatly, my bill is automatically paid monthly. Never give a credit card over the phone.

I have paid my Comcast bill last week and the it's not due until 9/21/09.  I don't understand why they keep calling.  I would just let them call.  Oh yeah, I called Comcast last night about my internet and the lady never even mentioned about a bill due or anything.

I recieved a call from this number a few minutes ago.  It is amazing how easliy you can find this number on google.  I already paid my bill this morning, but still recieved a call from them.  It's obvious they aren't really comcast or they would have known that already.  Never pay anything over the phone to ANY collection agency.  Pay the company directly, even if they sent your bill to collections, this is important because I paid a medical bill to a collections agency and my doctor never recieved a payment.  Such a hastle.

I got several calls from this company this week. Last night they called again and dummy me gave them my credit card number and a payment. They said they were Comcast cable company, and a payment was due. Seemed very professional I contacted decided this morning to contact Comcast direct, they informed me this company was ligitimate and they had two other companies that they out sourced for collecting. Either way I stopped payment prior to calling Comcast, and they noted my account, and payment was paid directly to them this morning. Just goes to show you regardless NEVER pay a bill over the phone with anyone that request your credit card. Could have been worse!

This number is for Out Reach Communications.  It is an outsourcing debt collector for Comcast Cable.  DO NOT PAY YOUR BILL THROUGH THEM!  Your payment will not show up to Comcast and your service will be disconnected!

Called the number and they said it was about a past due amount. I hung up an called Comcast. Turns out there was no reason for my bill to be in collections and the representative had no records for this phone number 1-888-636-0714. He said it sounds most likely to be a phishing call.

Status: The Caller ID stated "Coast Professional".  I answered an an automated message asked me to call Comcast at 888-636-0709 about important information regarding my account.  I called the number and a representative asked how she could help me.  I stated that I am calling as I received an automated message instructing me to do so.  She replied, "Is this John Wyn?"  I stated there was nobody her by that name and that it may be the wrong number.  She thanked me and ended the call.

I use Call Control on my BlackBerry, and added this number to the Blacklist.  Now they get disconnected without the option to go to my vmail, and I'm never aware that they called.

If you have a BlackBerry, I highly recommend that you download Call Control.  It's available as a trial, but even when the trial ends, it will continue dumping calls from blocked/restricted/unknown numbers and up to five numbers of your choosing.

I've been getting calls for weeks from 703-330-0318 which also I guess is comcast, I've never answered them since they call on my cell phone and I don't give out that number. Now I just got a call from this number after ignoring the last. No messages from either. I'm paid up on my bill but my service contract will expire soon, however they can send me a mailing as I'm *never* going to answer calls from people I don't know on my cell phone!
