Taylor Johnson of Comcast (which I now know is not legitimate) calls me at least 3x a day

I searched this name along with Comcast and on Google search and I was brought here. This person called me 2 times today from a unknown number with the exact same name as many of you have reported. I ignore the calls as I haven't had service with Comcast since the beginning of December.

I'm receiving calls from someone called "Talyor Johnson from Comcast" with an urged message.
I also receive calls from a "Hector Johnson from Comcast" with an heavy indian accent.

Just like Deb I've been getting these robo calls sporadically for weeks now.  The problem is the callerid is Unknown.

I have been receiving at least 40 recorded serial calls in a phone message claiming to be TAYLOR JOHNSON.  This is a woman's voice, loud and clear, calling at least once, often twice a day for many weeks.  The message, which may change slightly, ends by asking me to call 1-800-Comcast.  Extensive discussion with Comcast people shows that there is absolutely no connection to Comcast.  I note on the web that there were Taylor Johnson phone calls in 2007 claiming to be Taylor Johnson of a company called Metrocast or something similar.  The female speaker claims to be "Taylor Johnson of Comcast."  PLEASE, everyone, report these calls as you are doing, but also to the Do Not Call Registry (recorded telemarketing calls are illegal) and FTC.

third party collections company that has handled delinquent accounts for many Comcast areas for 3 years.  Depending on the Comcast system, Outreach is sometimes allowed to take check payments but the decision is at the descretion of what the Comcast client allows them.

I paid my comcast bill over the phone from this number and the correct amount was credited to my comcast bill.  They never claimed to be Comcast...just calling on behalf of comcast and I have not had a problem.

The day before received an automated call indicating my bill was late: hung up

Next day same number, guy said my bill was past due and now owe $97 to make it current and could take a credit card payment over the phone.

One call last week, one call this week from this number.  When I pick up the phone no one, or nothing, responds.

I got a call from them today.  No one spoke when I answered the phone.  I don't know how they got my cell phone number.  Could someone working at Comcast be doing this scam??

I paid my bill but they claimed I had not made payment. They asked for credit card information and I hung up. They still keep calling.

I have received a call a day for over a week.

got this message left on my answering machine from susan taylor.. called back, one kayla answered and she said she is from texas. she insisted that that is comcast payment processing center. but she didn't sound like "Comcast" but rather like Comcost.. or something like that. she was insisting there is some dlinquent payment and wanted the credit card details. i just hung up.

Call was from Linda Johnson of Comcast.
Need to talk about "an important matter". Called back and was informed about an overdue account.

There should be a new entry in caller type: "phising".

I've been getting the same phone call from this number about every other day.  They said that my mom's comcast bill was overdue.  She just paid it the day before, so I thought something did not seem right.  The number is completely different from my local comcast number.

I just received a call from "(888) 636-0719" when I answered I got a Computer answering system asking me to pay my comcast account that was overdue.
I just hung up...I when online and confirm that my account balance was 0.

I also got this message from Susan Taylor. called back during weekend. but it said the office is currently closed and asked me to call back during office hours - monday thru friday 9:00am to 8:30pm central time. Luckily I thought about checking it out, since i dont have any outstanding balance with comcast.

This is definitely a scam, I had already paid the bill in question and they were unable to access a record of my payment. They gave some bogus excuse about being "collection only" and any questions about payment history need to be directed to payroll.

A Susan Taylor left a message saying it was an importmant matter. call their office at my earliest convenience. and left their number of 888-636-0719. But since Comcast's number is 1-800-266-2278  I'm guessing Susan Taylor is a scammer. I was told that Comcast gives this company comcast's customers info to collect if they are past due on their account.

The company is pretending to be Comcast. They were calling my home phone for a week without leaving messages. I finally was home when they called and I answered. A guy said that my account with Comcast is past due and I need to make a payment. I do have business with Comcast so I said I will send you a check. He started insisting on a credit card payment saying that the payment cannot wait. I got suspicious, hung up, called to Comcast to their main line and asked if they made this call. They said NO!
