In the mail you receive "Final Notice" and you open it up and it's made to look like it's from Microsoft. It offers a touch pad tablet or laptop/netbook computer. The back says it's from FantaSea Resorts and is used for soliciting Time Shares.

I might still do it. I have gotten some free airline tickets from these in the past. Plus, showing up gets you on more promo lists which can get you more "freebies". IF you are willing to drive to their presentation, listen, and leave without buying.

Just check and spoke with a "live person'. After giving her the confirmation number, she asked if she could place me on hold.  I agreed.  However I had already did my research and was waiting for her presentation.  Upon her return, she stated that I could win one of the two gifts as printed on the announcement,. Also because I responded, I would also receive the VIP package. A weekend to Atlantic City Resorts Hotel.. She asked if I was over 25 years of old, was my income over $50,000.  I wanted to know why she needed my income. . Her comment, I'm not asking your income, I just need to know if it's over $50,000. At that time I informed her that I was not interested. .

The problem is, A LIE is a LIE, is a LIE. Full disclosure, NOTHING on mine says: "TIME SHARE". Nothing on mine says you must sit through ANY presentation, and the only entity that this appears to be sent from is "MICROSOFT", looks like an Attorney General issue!

Where is your fine print? There is nothing on my notification that says anything about Fanta sea resorts, it just indicates it is from MICROSOFT, which is really ILLEGAL!

After doing a little research, I found out that Google did award numerous companies certificates at discounted rates to distribute as a way of advertising. I went to the timeshare presentation and have my google e-tablet. I also think it compares nicely to the I-pad. but everyones entitled to their own opinion.

I recieved the same offer in the mail from fantasea resorts, and low and behold it was to go to a timeshare. A little skeptical I went to the presentation anyway, and was pleased to find out it wasn't a scam. I am using my tablet to write this at the moment. I was even thinking about buying a timeshare with the flagship, but when i returned to buy I had missed out on the orginal deal I was offered and now just not sure if I want to pay that amount without getting the platinum package for free. Long story short if you want the tablet and the other gifts all you have to do is attend. Don't see why people cry so much over something so small. If you don't want it, don't go!!!

@ noname " I received a card in the mail claiming Google awarded me a Touchpad Tablet Complete With New Android Software. I called and got an answering machine saying I reached the award tenor and to leave my name and number."

As Pattie said this is a Time Share come on. It is not affiliated with Google, read the back the certificate in the mail. Remember; If it sounds too good to be true then it is too good to be true!

I was trying to find out what this was all about - calling 1-888-645-5914 saying the promotional department shows I was awarded a new Google Tablet. I'm concerned that this is made to appear as if it is from Google when, if you look at the tiny print, it is from FantaSea Resorts. Google is too good a company to be smeared like this - I'm planning on notifying them.
