Need help

I also have been tryn to get ahold of them.I've emailed them nothin and a few day's a go I get a emial from them from a new sit.how crazy and this after I closed my checking acct... now thay keep call me tellin me to pay..thay are now going by credit star.

My husband got a call from these people and has paid them a TON of money....I KNEW there was something fishy about this.....I am filing complaints as we speak.......

I received a phone from these people and have been trying to call them back and now it is saying your call is not allowed.

For 12 years I have had this number which keeps getting calls for a Christopher L. Porter.  This is one of those numbers and I keep telling them that I do not know this "alleged" dead beat and to stop calling me.  They don't and just keep up their relentless calls.   They do not ID themselves and they do not let me even tell them the facts.  I can only assume they are a debt collection company who doesn't know how to get the right facts on the people they are trying to chase down.  My caller ID, however, says they are CS Processing.

I also received a message on my phone from phone number 18886621779 asking me to call the number back because it is a urgent legal message. I called the number back and spoke to a Jordan Davis so she say. Jordan states that I owe an old bill from 8 years in the amount of $5000.00 and if I didnt take action today they would garnish my wages. I questioned her as to why I never received anything in the mail concerning a bill i owe. Jordan wanted my bank account info so they could receive payments soon. I told her no I need proof because I dont know anything about her company. Jordan then told me that today was my last day and then it will go to court. My response was okay I will have an attorney when the court date come. Jordan then said that if I can pay a lawyer I could pay the $5000.00. I told Jordan until i receive something in writing I will not pay her anything nor will I make any arrangments. Jordan was very angry with me. I told Jordan I guess I will see her in court. Jordan did not like that at all. Jordan was so upset she hung up the phone. WOW scammers really think all consumers are stupid i guess.

they call everyday and say nothing ? they don't have a web sight ??

Here is the address a lady I talked to gave me to send me a cease and desist letter so I am assuming it is the address of their company if anyone else is interested. She also gave me a number to fax one.

They called me and got me all worked up before I saw this thread and realized they were trying to say I owe money from US Bank back when I was 14. I never had an account then! They were trying to make me pay today!

They have been calling my mother asking for info. My mother is smart enough to not give out info. I called the number back to see what company this was and they would not even give the company name and the woman said she wont help me unless I help her. I am smart enough not to give info until I know who I am talking to. she got rude and nasty and I hung up on her.

Received a computerized message about a case number for Gregory Hare. Call was received from 888-576-1260. Told to call 1-888-662-1779 to "stop your action". I have no idea who Gregory Hare is. After reading these posts, sounds like it's a scam. Will block their number. They didn't identify their company name.

Calling me and all my relatives trying to collect a debt. Leave voicemail messages that it's very important. When I call back they hang up on me; won't give me any information.

A recorded message says to call 1-888-662-1778, in relation to a file number.  They never identify themselves by name, nor do they identify themselves by company name--two big giveaways that they are a marketing company, or a scam, or both.  I'm not calling them ever. Period.

I just receivesd a call from (631) 755-5542. I let it go to voicemail. The auto message said they had an important business matter for my ex -husband of 8 years and they gave a case number.The call back number on the message was (888) 662-1778. My number is a cell phone which I did not have when my ex and I were together. I called the number back and a man answered and said "Hello, (my ex's name)." I informed him that they had the wrong number, I havent talked to my ex in 8 years, and I dont know where he is. The guy said they will stop calling. I guess I will have to wait and see!! Having worked in the collection industry in the past, I KNOW this was a collection call. My ex probably owes it!

I have been getting messages from 18886621778 at least once a day. This has been going on for about a month now. The robot voice says they are calling for 'Jon Paul' or something similar in regard to an 'important business matter,' case number 224609. The name they mention is not mine and I have not phoned this number back as the robotic message sounds suspicious!

I continue to receive calls from 1-888-662-1778. I have no negative credit for someone to call me.

These folks are trying to collect a debt!  In my case the debt is more than 20 years old and by law is not a collectible debt; bared by the statute of limitations.   Statute of limitations is an enactment in a common law legal system that sets the maximum time after an event that legal proceedings, based on that event, may be initiated.

Inform them they do NOT have a right to collect this debt and ask them to STOP calling your number; if they continue to call your number report it to the FTC (Federal Trade Commission).

I am getting the same calls that you are getting. Also from the other number 888-844-0131, Kevin Scott! I do believe that my computer was Hacked! I had to restart from the beginning. Watch out what you click on!

888-662-1778. Calls and leaves recorded message with case number. They are calling my Mother's home at that. Say they are trying to keep me out of court. When I request documentation of the debt, they say my lawyer can get that in court, which by the way, is being filed in a county that I have never lived in. When I let them know I wanted to record the call, they hung up. I called back and informed them right away that I would be recording the call. They tell me they want to keep my case out of court if I pay this debt. I told them I don't know what the debt is because I never lived in the county they say it's being filed in. Although, they DID have the last 4 digits of my SS#. I googled them. Found they were one of many internet companies being sued. When I mentioned that ... they hung up too. Stop calling my cell phone!

This number has been calling my ex husband claiming to be a creditor for US Bank saying we owe them 2000$ and that they have already contacted the local judicial system and have started a case against us and so on and my ex was stupid enough to pay some of it and says I need to as well but if its a scam then theres no way im going to pay them a dime...

this is a over seas scam company they just get you to wire them money not a real company the attorneys generals office has had tons of complaints and it is on the federal trade commission fcc scam list

same thing.  blocked them on my phone.   going on 2 weeks now.

I have gotten the same calls from 888-662-1778 and 888-380-3516 at least once a day.  A computerized voice says my husbands name then  they identify themselves as CREDIT SMART, they leaves a case # then say to call then back.

So i took the opportunity to call them back and let them know that they need to stop calling, because we are aware that there just a bunch of scamers and that i was looking at all there information about them on the internet as we speak and then hung up.

Multiple "very important" calls for (name) from someone with Credit Smart, provides claim number and offers balance transfer relief program.  Leaves number to call back.  Over and over and over.  Never answer, never will.  This has been going on for many months.

I have received a couple of computerized calls to my cell phone claiming to be Credit Smart (agency?) with a claim # insisting I call back to the 888 number mentioned on this blog.  They started calling several weeks back but never left a message until recently.  Left 2 messages in two days.  Second one was more threatening saying there was little or no time left and court action would be taken.  I will not respond to ANY phone calls claiming I owe money.  Legitimate claims should be documented and received by mail.  How do you get this to stop!

I recieved the same call, they give me a reference # but I havent answered the calls, I dont know who they are and know as a fact I dont owe them anything, They are scammers, because as I was told a few wks ago, if it is legit they would mail out information to us and not demand money over the phone. I almost got scammed a few weeks ago with money they insisted i sent them or they would send the Sherriff, well I called my constable and again, she said that, If it was legit, it would be handled through proper paperwork, that they were trying to scam me, be careful...

Just received a call from them again a few minutes ago. This recorded call said the same thing as to what you wrote. SCAM!!

Computer robocall message looking for "Gloria" claim number and balance transfer program please call 18886621778 creditsmart.

I almost forgot....I received the same type of call on Friday, but a different phone no. Beware.....SCAMMERS!!
