I guess this is a fake post and you probably work for them.  I got the same type of call and reported them to the FCC and a lawyer friend who works for the Attorney General's office.  My suggestion would be to stop working for them they are in big big trouble

Get calls from this number every day, 210-249-0540. They leave the call back number of 888-665-2827. They leave a case number also. They act like they are doing an investigation and want to verify  your employer. But I still have not been able to verify who they are. They use the call center or whatever called NOVATEL at 210-249-0540 based in Texas. I assume they are a collection agency looking for information on clients, but they use uncool tactics.

I was given this number by very belligerent women calling me as "Bryant and Benjamin" law offices.  Ms. Kendall and later Ms. Carmen Rivers threatened to garnish my wages for an old debt and when I started asking questions of them they got very belligerent - I was to agree to make restitution but they would not give me any information.  When I asked Ms. Rivers to spell her name bec. she rushed through the pronunciation and I could not hear you she repeated her name and refused to spell it.  When she stated the law office name and I asked for the spelling (it could be bryant or brian, who knows?) she said "Are you kidding me?  You don't know how to spell that?"  I said why am I being treated this way and she said something nasty about not losing sleep over if I pay it back or not - I said I will respond in writing and hung up.  They also said this was this the 3rd attempt to contact me at work and they had that documented and that simply is not true - there are only 2 other people who answer the phone and our voicemail and phone message taking is excellent.  I said she was lying and of course she got even nastier!

I spoke with a Teresa Coleman at this number and company Bryant and Benjamin....she settled the balance I owed for an old loan. She was very courteous and understanding she let me make payment arrangements ...when I told her how nice she was being, she simply said she doesn't handle business that way. .no need to threaten ppl she just tells what the situation is and if they want to take care of it ok, but if not, she just moves on. I cant speak for all the rest who are working there, but i liked the way she spoke very respectful.

Bryant and Benjamin are a buffalo based call center, pretending to be lawyers, and have used at least seven different phone numbers.  1-888-239-9586, and others.  Most of their numbers originate from the New York area, greater Buffalo, but they are know to route other numbers through Texas.  They are not a legitimate collection attorney at all.  They are under investigation at this time, as many  people have filed complaints against them.  Contact the Attorney General in NY, and also the FTC and report exactly how they handled your old pay day loan.  If you call the number above, they will deny that they were once placing adds all over the web for debt collectors under the name NRG and associates.  THey are a buffalo payday loan office that admits that they recently changed there name from Scott WHeaton and associates, or JW and associates.  Their name changes periodically, but you should google the name bryant and benjamin, and notice how many threads of dissatisfied customers are out there.  The common theme is that they have not heard a response from a summons, and or a check fraud incident.  In fact the names of the employees changes all the time, but never the proper language about how this is an attempt to collect a debt, just threats of police arresting for check fraud, or sending uniformed officers to your home.  They are very nasty, and operating an illegal boiler room.  If you ask for their address to dispute the claim, they will tell you that they do not accept mail correspondence.  Duh, most law firms will gladly give you their address.  The lady actually said that they dont give out adress because they dont know if you are trying to kill them.  How stupid is that?  Dont give them any money, and tell them to quit calling, and them report them to the AG and the FTC.  they will be shut down sooner than they realize, as they accidentally tried to run their scam on a retired Fed, who quickly investigated and got the ball rolling to end their illegal business practice.

I had several payday loans outstanding and was directed to call bryant and benjamin by advanced america. they were very helpful in helping me understand the charges and even reduced my total balance by 50%!!! as far as collection agencies go, they were a pleasure to deal with.

Trying to act like a satisfied customer does not fool the rest of us, dummy.

i justreceived a call a few min ago. the second one in three hours. neer heard ofthem befre and i dnt owe money lol. who r they? they say there is a claim against me? kiss my a**. i tried calling bk but it said it was after business hours. i answered  one of the calls and tried to be transferred but they said its closed. how can u b closed but keep bugging ppl?

I was called and told that I am a person of interest in a fraud case against my sister and my sister used my information. This lady could and would not give me any information on the business she worked or a website information. This lady who goes by the name Jan Allen threatened me to be summons to another state to which my sister lives in and I can face prison time if my sister is not contacted. She stated My sister is facing 3 counts of bank fraud and a minimum of 5 years in prison. This should be against the law to threaten some one like this just to get information for a debt.
