If they only had a "goal to get rid of" their nuisance telemarketing, website spamming, and donation poaching, THEN I would be amazed.

My Husband worked for your company and gave his all..!5 hours a day for what..pennies on the dollar..he was lucky to bring home 2 dollars and hour..So it looks like we are the Charity case in need of help..This company is crooked!! Yes..He may be a disgruntal employee but as his wife I have watched him day in and day out wear him self down..for what..only to be let go because he has the flu...WOW! really!!? There are over 4000 homeless people at any given time in North Carolina.  They have no where to go and no one wants to give them a chance to succeed. I am concerned that this organization called and represented themselves as the Kidney Foundation. They left a card with nspire but we live in Winston Salem. I am inclined to believe that this organization if you are not a scam artist, needs get your business straight. The Bible says do not let your good be evil spoken of... well misrepresentation is FRAUD at best.

It is unwise to publish a phone number you meant to protect in an open forum where any data harvester and scammer can find it. Your callers do not maintain this site or this web page. You will not get compliance with your orders until you deliver them *directly* to your caller.

Maybe the charity is for real but the caller from 704-441-8729 may be a scammer pretending to be that charity. Never give donations to a stranger who calls you. Might be a scammer. Might be a legit independent fund raiser who keeps 99% for themselves and sends 1% to the charity. Best to donate directly to the charity so they will get 100% of your donation.

Absolutely amazing how these "testimonials" come full of heart-tugging tales of rescued degenerates and gushing praise for Lord Kennard, trying so hard to justify the annoyance of multiple daily beggar calls that will not ever stop without a Certified mailed notice if not a lawsuit.

They called me and asked if I would give clothes and household items.  I said yes. They told me when they would pick the delivery up. Then someone called me the night before to reaffirm that I would have items out for them to pick up. As I said I would, I had several bags and other items set out. Do you think they picked anything up?  No, it is all still sitting in my drive. I tried calling them and their mailbox is full, so I can't even leave a message.  They also did not leave me a message explaining why they did not pick up my items.  I am in Greensboro, N.C. Now I have to haul it all back into my garage.

My personal opinion with respect to this caller:

Nspire (apparently formerly known as "Cure" and other names) used to be a pest unique to the Atlanta area, where they are based.  They have been aggressive callers, and generally not respectful of requests to be taken off of their calling list.  They sometimes ask for "the lady of the house".

They are not listed on CharityNavigator.org, which would tend to indicate that they are probably not filing a Form 990.  I was unable to locate their filings with the State of Georgia. (That may be my fault.)

Over the years it appears they have wrapped themselves in a variety of names and causes, (drug addiction, battered women, learning disabilities, etc.) but it all boils down to another "charity" of dubious intent.  They operate by collecting donations of household goods, and selling them at  "thrift stores" in the Atlanta area (and I suppose now other areas as well?) With a zero cost of goods sold, minimally compensated store workers, and low cost store locations, I suspect that they generate a great deal of revenue.

I would not suggest donating to them.  They lack transparency, and I doubt the sincerity of their "charity".  I have never had the experience of being subjected to aggressive cold calling by a legitimate charity which was a good steward of donations.  Good luck getting them not to call, they are a good candidate for call blocking if you want them to go away.

I would welcome the chance to review their filings with the Georgia Secretary of State, as required by the O.C.G.A., and be happy to revise my opinions if they can establish that they are good stewards of donations, and respectful of people's right to telephonic privacy.

They are a legitimate company.  I have a bag of items waiting on them to pick up tomorrow.  They provide services to the homeless in Charlotte, help with job training, education, etc.  Overlook their phone issues and help them out!

The people were nice, kind and professional.
They called during normal hours and no repeat annoying call backs.

After reading some of these comments, I hope that someone can respectly inform others of your "start up organization."  Sometimes things fall through the cracks.   No one likes unwanted sales or telemarketing phone calls. It looks like your hearts are in the right place.

I dont know what harm can a phone call do to you. I dont like telemarketers and phone calls early in the morning eather, but out there are people that are really in need. I'm not in a cult and I dont agree with any tipe of radicals, but giving a couple of tshirts or a pair of shoes that doesnt fit my child is ever better for me because I dont have waisted space in my house and they pick it upa AND I recieve a tax deduction form. It's a win win situation for me. And I'n  not wealthy but lucky enouth to count my blessings, what about you?

I lived for many years focused on the street life.  Selling drugs and gang life was all I knew.  But after being shot, I came to the realization that I was tired of that life and wanted something more.  Nspire gave me the groundwork in order to do so.  I was able to get certified as a floor technician and am about to get married to my new fiancé who has a child on the way.  This is what I prayed for.  Nspire made it possible. http://www.nspireoutreach.org
