Just got this call at 6:04 PM Alberta time. Its an 888 number so just ignored it anyway.
I ignore All numbers I don't know or am expecting.
Works for me. If its important they will leave a message.
Times telecom is the carrier we use for long distance affiliated with Bell on our plan.
So guys, if you are reading this Stop calling ...I have two phones already and your a nuisance to be sure.
Im looking forward to the new rules coming in just after my plan expires and Hell yah! Im trying out Verizen.

this number called and said nothing..call back..you get nice piano music and then they say ...gobye and hang up...i plan on calling back all day long..lol

just left a very long message with rather pleasant classical music... hahaha! I thought someone pocket dialed me while listening to the radio!

I GAVE ALL INFO BUT CALLED MY EASTLINK TELLY AND CABLE/INTERNET COMPANY WITTH THE INFO ..WHOM ADVISED ME OF THIS AVENU TO LOOK UP WHAT PERSONS SAID..

I got a phone and it's not scam...all we need to do is track the cellphone there giving away..it's not free because we need to pay for the monthly service..

THIS IS NO SCAM, My wife got the call from Times Telecom, and went though the get the cell phone and contract from Bell Mobility.
The PHONE DID ARRIVE 3 DAYS LATER  BY COURIER, AND IT WAS A HTC WILDFIRE S.
IT IS REAL, YES SHE DID END UP WITH A 3 YEAR CONTRACT FROM BELL MOBILITY.

BUT THAT IS WHAT SHE WANTED, THE CONTRACTED INCLUDED DATA PLAN, 350 PEAK, UNLIMITED OFF PEEK ETC.
THE ONLY EXTRA COST WAS 29.97 FOR A $300 PHONE AND $35 ACTIVATION.

THIS IS REAL IT. YOU WILL GET A VERY GOOD PHONE, FULLY ACTIVATED.

im got a call from rain rosalas#dt101814 and they also said i was going to recieve my cell phone in the mail ive been waiting 3 weeks now and he told me 5-7 buisness days they kept on calling me lik everyday i was approved for the cell but im still waiting they told me to call the purolater hotline and we did but they told us we needed the verification code for the cell phone so they could track it and rain never told me a verification number i cant get through to customer service it says the mail box is full at 1-888-668-6045.

try to contact the customer service no. that they gave to you. or give me your phone number and after i check it i'll call you.

its not a really a scam, i believe the gave you their customer service no. right? try to contact them and ask if what happen to your application, if it's approve or not.

For all of you people who are unsure -= Call Bell 1 800 667-0123. Or  www.bell.ca,   go to bottom of page and click "Contact Us" for the phone number and hours of business. Again, Call them and they will clarify.

Sorry to hear about your challenges Jessie. This is a Scam, I work for Shaw Cable Digital Phone as Tech support and deal with this type of issue on a daily basis. I myself just minutes ago got the call you did. I asked for his Rep ID (which he provided) and a callback phone number. I knew it was bogus but for fun I called. I got their message to leave all of my info and they'd call me back, I just hung up and called Bell Mobility. I was advised this is a scam and they would forward my complaint as yet another example. Sadly we cannot do much about this type of Scam. They can easily get a new telephone number and or "spoof" any phone number they would like. Any legit business will always provide a real phone number and a real Rep ID number, so if you were to call back to lets say purchase a product or sign up for something the Rep who called you would get the commission. Always ask for their number so you may call them back.... and google the number for your own peace of mind.

I just got the call - I work for Shaw Cable Digital Phone Dept. and I have to deal with this on a daily basis. I have spoken with Bell Mobility Security and they have been receiving a lot of complaints. Remember people, NEVER give out your information. What you should do is ask for their phone number and call back, if it's legit then they will have no problem providing you the phone number and their Rep ID#.

This is a Scam, just spoke with Bell Mobility security and they are aware of this scam.

all right i read on this forum. some true some false. now 2 months ago i had a call from them and they said its a promotion for a smart phone allright so i thought i would try it 2 weeks after the phone call from bell they said i was approved, and they said it be here in 5 day, 1 month later i still haven't recived this smart phone..... to me this is a scam!!!! so we change the house number, and were still getting calls from them.

I feel so stupid right no I got a call and was told that I was on a promotion to get a free bell smart phone and it would arive in the next 5 business days,  and that it was from bell mobility canada the agent I was Jasmine Margin her employee id was ttr10165 and she ask me my name date of birth and at the end she asked me for my SIN # and stupid me I gaver it to her and now I don;t know what I am gonna do.....  Is this really something I should report to RCMP Phone Busters, please Help

This number 1-888-668-6045 keeps on calling my wife and I trying to sell me something whatever you do don't give them your personal information it is a scam they gust want your information you will not recieve anything that they claim to sell you when they phone just hang up don't even talk to them.

Scam or not what they are doing is illegal. They called my 18 year old daughter while we were on holidays and she bought into the scam. She didn't give a SIN number but they did get a DL number out of her. The phone came with a legit Bell bill following a couple of weeks later. Contacted Bell and gave them the number and they told me that it was a scam number. Not sure how they tricked Bell into sending an actual phone but somehow they did. Bell told me to send the phone back, at my expense, and the account would be closed. I told them the bill wouldn't be paid and if they wanted their phone back they would have to send a prepaid shipping package to me and then I would return it. The illegal part of this situation is that my daughter is only 18 and when the original caller found this out he said he would hang up and call back and told my daughter to give her birth year as 1991 instead of Aug 1992. Still waiting to hear back from Bell about the return of the phone.

You can't even write english properly yet you are using an english name. We all know you are not working on behalf of Bell, Bell Aliant or any other legitimate company. I work for Bell Aliant. When we call you, we don't block our name or number. That is the number one way to tell if it is a scam or not. Why would we hide our number from our customer's? The answer of course is, we don't

i got no problem with it,i also received a touch screen phone from bell.they got hard time pulling out my SIN at first.everything goes fine.this is not a scam guys.

Said they were from Superior Energy. I called back and could only leave voicemail. I called Superior  Energy directly and reported it.The number does not belong to Superior Energy.
It is a phishing phone call.

Just got the same call...Superior Energy - Collus & Enbridge.  Glad I was almost scammed before and learned my lesson then.  I didn't give them my acct. #s.

They said they were Barrie Hydro - same thing, price protection, that prices were going up 46%, a form was coming in my next bill, I should sign it and send it back to be protected from rate increase and they wanted my account #.  I called Barrie Hydro to confirm it was not them.  Also reported the phone # to the Ontario Energy Board 1-877-632-2727.  Perhaps the OEB can do something to get rid of them.
