They told me I owed for a debt in 2009, threatned me with court.  I ended up making payments to them in the amount of 1100.00.  When I tried to call for a receipt, it disconnects everytime.

Stated they are serving legal paperwork for an old debt not paid.  They had all my information but, when i requested they send me the documents to back up their claim, they refused.  Stated they will contact my family members and work place if i do not pay them.

I reeived a call from these horrible people yesterday. I called them back and they stated I had a paid day loan from a company called "Money and More". I tried to explain that I never took any pay day loan every in my life. The women, "Mrs. Pierce" on the other end would not give me any information as to the companies phone number or how I could get more information. She stated that I would have to be served with court papers, then I would have all the information I needed. She tried to find out my address and I refused to give it to her. She stated that if I went to court it would cost me $1700.00 which was for the loan and attorney fees. She then put me on hold and when she came back on the line she said she spoke to the attorney in the office and if I paid $983.00 over the phone right then and there that they would drop the law suit. I absolutely refused to pay them any money. They are nasty people. She tried to scared me into giving her the money. The screwed up part of all is that she had information about me and I do not know how she obtained this information nor would she tell me. All they wanted was to scare me and collect the money. When I got off the phone I went on my computer and did some research. I then found this site. I will report them to anyone and everyone that I can. I will be contacting the FBI, CIA, BBB and my local sheriff's department.

I think all you people should just pay your bills to begin with .... Then you wouldnt be getting sued by creditors ...

I just got the same message as fed-up from a co-worker that answer the workplace phone. Are they just a collection agency?

Got three calls to two different phones claiming to have papers to serve and a case number.  I called the local counties and nothing is on their records.  The caller is to be Mike Bradshaw @ 1-888-668-8290 from Private Career Services (A.K.A - Federal Restitution Services) asking when I would be home and private information... He was told not to call anymore but I see the other posts and I guess these guys just keep changing their story to avoid charges or court cases.  If you google the number more than 100 complaints have been filed.  Contact your phone carriers and local sheriff's to report them and get them on a recording for evidence when you sue them.  Know your laws and rights.... just glad I was not the one intended for their call.

I got a phone call from this number. A guy named Tony Lewis, and from a young lady named Jennifer. When i asked who Jennifer was she gave me attitude about who she was and indicated that she was a "Process Server". I asked if she was a peace officer, and she threatened to serve me with papers at my job. I called back the number and asked the Tony Lewis gentleman to speak to his lawyer, he said no. The lawyer would not get on the phone, because thats not their job. What did i need to talk to the lawyer for. I asked to have documents stating this case or suit against me, all he said was he could only send me the payment plan he wanted to set up with me. I call b***s***. Then he transferred me to a guy named Thomas who claimed to be recording me. Blah Blah. People beware. It seems we are all getting the same call!

I have received two calls so far from a lady named Jennifer Nelson calling from a restricted number. Yesterday she claimed she had sealed documents containing my name and SS# and that this was a notice of intent to serve and I needed to call her back ASAP with reference number ???? at 1-888-668-8290. If I did not respond she would have me served at the address on her file.  Today when she called she claimed she Jennifer Nelson whom worked for a private currier services would be by my address that was on file in her office between 9am and 5 pm and that I had better be at the location to accept the papers.  She also stated that this was happening since I did not return her call or the person that is filing charges on me never sent them a cease and desist for this case.
You know this type collection practices can be scary but they should also know that not every person they call is going to fall for their practices.  Now some will and I don't blame them because they don't know the laws or how collection laws work.  It's so sad that their are people out there that think scaring someone is the way to do business.

I also got a message for these people today threatening me with legal action over a loan. I have absolutely no idea what they are referencing, and she was talking so fast I could barely understand what "Jennifer" was saying. I did hear, legal action, court papers, serve me a my residence, case number etc etc etc. This is nuts I refuse to be threatened like this. Unbelievable.

I talked to legal helpers (bankruptcy attorneys) yesterday after receiving calls from this same company and they told me it is a SCAM and that no debt collection agency can threaten jail time or anything by law.

I also recieved 3 calls under this number it showed up as restricted. they left me a message saying they were forwarded some documents for me to go to court. that were going to show up at my residence and my job. the lady name she said she was ....is Claire jackson. she even said i shouldve called her a nd not ignored her and she will find me. i have paid my pay day loan years ago and havent borrowed in more than 5 or 6 years. these people are scum i know about loan sharks and scammers they have tried many ways to scam me i do not owe any pay day a penny somebody help get these people to stop!!!  I am going to talk with my lawyer!

On 06/07/2011, I received two RESTRICTED calls on my cell phone 15 mins apart. The individual left msgs claiming t/b an "Attorney"  Gabriel Donovan stating  that papers had been served for a Laura xxxx, gave a case no. and said the usual blah, blah bill collector nonsense.   I called the number left on the msg, 888-668-8290, simply to tell them that I they had a wrong number and not to
waste my cell minutes leaving me long msgs since I was not that person.  The individual I was speaking to claimed he was not this Gabriel Donovan but I recognized his voice & he started to ask me my name & personal questions.  I told him my name was not relevant & I just didn't want them to call my cell any more.  Well he got nasty & told me he can CALL ME ANY TIME HE WANTS WHENEVER HE WANTS.   I got pissed & I was yelling & told him I had the info they left on the msg and I was filing a complaint with the FCC.   As soon as I hung up, I filed an online complaint with the
FCC, FTC and FL State Attorney General's Office.
Don't let these scums intimidate you.  File a complaint with at least FCC it takes no more that 10 mins
and the more complaints the FCC receives the sooner they'll get these scumbags.  If they call me
again I will file 3 more complaints (3 complaints per call).

I keep getting calls from this number and they leave a message that is threatening.  I try to call the number back but it does not go through.  They leave another number to call back and that is 877-568-8296.

They called my family and said that they were looking for me and they went to my address they said to serve me with court papers and I was being sued. I got this loan alonggggg time ago and they just start to call yesterday. Well i called them back and they said that they were detectives and i was being sued. They said i was look about $4,000 i was being sued for. They said they had to get incontacted with the lawyer that was on my case. So they contacted him on 3 way and then they had the other guy that was going to serve me with papers. They said i only had 24 hrs to get this case dismissed in court  and i had to pay them $500. Or they were going to go through with the process to sue me. So i was scared and i paid it. So, i told my family and they researched and found out that there collector's. Yes, I did have a payday loan but there was no number to call and i switched over to a new bank because they closed. I know i need to pay for the debts, but they don't have to do this to people. Times r very hard and they took what money i did have. I can't believe this happened. I closed my bank acc and got a new one. I don't think i will ever see my money again. This is a lesson for me!

Warning be careful these are phony numbers set up by a telephone mask operation system to mask the real phone number, when they call you, don't voluteers any information, the second you call that number your number is forward to their cell phone or land line, and at the same time it being recorder, this is why you may here them say, you are being recorded, they are serious recording you to trip you up in revealing something you most liikely at the time will reveal, they get on your weak side and prey on your emotions, what is being record can then work against you. Say to them, give me your lawyers phone number so my lawyers will be in contact with them, most of them will leave you alone, if they do give you their number seek a debt consolidator lawyer who will aid you in what best to do, and investigate if there is any wrong doing on their parts as well. You have rights, fight for your right. Don't let these Debt Collectors Mobsters and Debt Loan Sharks trouble you, just call the FBIs, CIAs and BBB.

they are debt collectors claiming to be FBIs agents, CIAs and Posing as Police Officers threating to arrest you for not paying your payday loan debts, people get sick in my case I became disable and on disability, to stop the debtors putting me in thousands of dollars in overdraft, I was force to close the account, by law they must mail you the bill, however they made claims they don't have to mail bills like any other good decent bill collectors, instread they stood so low to make phone threats to thousands and thousands of dept owners. report them to the FBIs and CIAs as well as BBB. Take you time to gradually pay your debts like anybody else, if it be $5. a month, then hey its $5. a month and you'll be ok in time.

I'm a disable guy on SSI, I called the IRS and Federal concerning these Federal Restitution Services Debt Collector, they are pay day loan debt scammers, It appears the FBI is on their a**, they are opposing as FBIs and Claiming to be CIAs, making deadman threats that they will kick down my family doors and find me and shoot at any cause due to a payday loan that I was scammed on, last year, down here in NC is very dangerous, we are a state that hates payday loans and will send any payday loan scammers to prisons immediately, especially when you threaten children, I have reported them to BBB and FBI, they will come after them immediately. Don't voluteer any information, know your rights, they are not to call you ever, if they call you, let them know "my lawyer will be talking to your lawyer". they usually step off fast!!! Because they overstep their rights and its against the law to threaten anyone on any debt you own them, that if you owe them a debt. Just the threats alone can sum up a $10,000,000.00 law suit, and especially if they release that threat to a child, all the child have to say is yes during the court trail and you most likely will win the case!!!

Federal Restitution Services keeps call my kids phone from different numbers. the number is only a few months old for us.
