Yes that's the problem with them. It wouldn't even give Me any quotes. I just started receiving ten calls a day. I answer and talk to ke agent but keep getting calls from others. I guess they don't want my business but instead want to piss me off

Really? Most people input their information because they are told its a free quite then MetLife doesn't provide it. Instead they inundate you with high pressure calls from every agent they have in every city nationwide. We didn't sign up for that.

It's Met Life.  Their website claims to offer online quotes, but it's really a ploy to get your phone number so they can call you.  Since you provided the phone number, they cant get in trouble for violating the no-call list.  Sneaky deceptive marketing tactics, but they know they'll get a way with it.  If I wanted to talk to a salesman I would have call them directly!

I've got to quit asking for quotes and such online. Now all I get is an endless stream of "Toll Free Number" calls. I asked for an online quote from Metlife, but after I saw that it was completely unaffordable, I didn't proceed with the quote, and even unsubbed from the e-mail they sent as a followup. <rolling my eyes>

I've received several calls from this number on my Google Voice phone.  This number has NEVER been given out so it must be from an auto dialer.  The GV inbox message I get is "Voicemail from: Homo F** Insurance (888) 691-7111 at 9:50 AM".  Must be some kind of joke, but it's not funny.  They never leave a message, just dead air for about 5 seconds.

If you want the calls to stop, you have to pick up the phone and tell them.  
Hitting ignore does nothing, since the calls are on an automatic dialer.

I keep getting them too! I wanted information by mail, but the MetLife wouldn't accept the submit button unless I put in my phone number! Now they call me eight times a day!!! Talk about obsessive! Drives me nuts.

I keep getting calls from this number telling me someone filled out a form for me and they just need some more information?? No one in my family has filled out any form and i do not know how they got my number but I want it stopped!!

I have received numerous (20+) calls from this number NEVER leaving a voice mail.  I finally set my voice mail to play them a rather "graphic" message demanding they stop calling.  So far, in the last 20 minutes they have called back 12 TIMES!!!!  I would NEVER do business with Met Life EVER!  Also, in the middle of the 888-691-7111calls, I got a call from 239-240-7443 (Ft Myers, FL) which I suspect belongs to them as well.

Also note: I have NEVER contacted ANY company using this number so they have NO RIGHT to be harassing me.

These people call day and night stating they were referred to me and i need life insurance immediately!!!!!!. They must call eight times a day. Its very interesting , because my life is being threatened right now. I certainly never requested life insurance on line or from anyone lately. Creepy

I went to web site to get an online quote, online my backside, I have gotten upwards of 30 calls from various people from Metlife,  I don't answer 800 numbers numbers I don't know. Online quote should be just that not oh fill out all this stuff then at the end tell me an agent will contact me by phone

These calls are not Debt collecters, they are Insurence companies. I only inquired about a couple and not several. I get many different no. calling.

I keep getting calls day and night from this no. I did want info on Insurance but only BY MAIL, not to call me all hours and all weekends.................................................................................. STOP CALLING ME.................................................................YAP. I reject and ignore over and over and over and over.   I wish they would get calls like this, the owner to know how it feels,YES? When you ask for info on line others pick it up or they sell your info. I get calls from different numbers every day and night and on weekends.

I want this number to STOP calling me!! If you've tried calling me numerous times in the past month, and multiple times daily and I constantly hit ignore, what makes you think I'm gonna start answering the phone and listening to some stupid person trying to sell me life insurance?!
