I received a Text on my cell phone from this number and I just do not answer it unless I recognize the number or name.  Otherwise it will just be deleted

I'm on Do No Call Lists also but still got the call. If anyone knows how to stop them please post. This is annoying and an invasion of our privacy. Why can't we stop them?

Re.# 8887020724.  Text received: 02/10/2012.  Contact phone number provided in unsolicited text: "Mystery Shoppers needed" etc.  Message sent from text-"address" 53677.  Four unsolicited texts received from "53677" starting: 02/02/2012.  Since cell-phones are now being regularly "targeted" for unsolicited telemarketing text-messages, www.800notes really needs to enable the posting of comments for non-phone# text-"addresses"!  A minor reformatting of the input field should be all that's required.  gizzy...

This mystery shopper is now sending text messages to my cell phone. Each message cost $.20.  Any idea of how to stop them or find out who they are?

This is a scam!  First of all I am on the national do not call registry, but these people are contacting me anyway. Come to find out they are claiming to be mystery shoppers but they only want to get you to cash a counterfeit check for them in promise of a fee.  Do not fall for it!  it is illegal!. They are preying on people who may be out of work or if you have listed your resume online looking for employment. I only have mine listed on monster job so that must be where they got my phone number from?  Monster claims to not sell info, so they must be hacking into their website somehow?   There are legitimate mystery shopper jobs out there, but they will never ask you to pay money, nor cash a check for them!  Be careful & protect yourself- do the research

This number sent a cell phone message to become a mystery shopper even though our number has been on the Federal "Do Not Call List"  and Indiana- Do Not Call List, since the beginning.  Its a scam for those who don't know better.  Don't waste your time or money with these guys and report all violations to your attorney generals.
