Why are they calling me so often ?

Looking for payment to a 20+ year debt, 20 years ago I was only 3 years old

Talked to a very rude man who called me a liar and hung up on me when I told him the information he had didn't match anyone I know.  don't know who these people are but they shouldn't let rude people on their phones.  That is no way to run a business.

1-800-727-5848 -- I received a bill from GC Services, P.O. Box 7820, Baldwin Park, CA 91706, in which they claimed that I owe $$$$$ from a so-called traffic violation way, way back in the 1990s. Then they started harrassment calls using 1-800-727-5848 under the guise of "Superior Court". A simple GOOGLE Search on "GC Services" and "1-800-727-5848" reveals that this company and the people that work for them are LIARS and have a track record of FRAUD. There needs to be a thorough legal investigation of this "GC Services" and "1-800-727-5848" by the appropriate authorities as this type of activity cannot continue by this fraudulent entity.

If you receive a call from this number, you have been called by junk debt / collection agency that buys debt from original creditors that has been written off or settled and is beyond the statute of limitations in most states. They are trying get the money for themselves, not the original creditor.

They are reportedly a serial violator of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). They may be illegally using credit information obtained from Experian or other credit reporting agencies.

Received call/voice mail from Marisa from CRA concerning individual we have no present knowledge of along with case number. I returned the call inquiring as to the nature of CR's business and Chris  would not disclose who they are and hung up on me. I called the next day and  talked to a very rude women who would not tell me anything and who verbally abused me. This type of collection practice should be shut down. I believe CRA to be in PA and we are in Minnesota.

Same jerks called today and I don't have any interest in why they are calling.  Maybe rudeness is just part of their day but I don't make it a part of mine.  I looked this up on the internet just to verify it is what it is, a waste of my time.

these people are rude and ignorant and should not be allowed to do business at all. there are laws against what these people do which is degrade and harrass individuals with credit problems and there family members. you can report these people and record there conversations. regardless of the fact that you did not meet the terms of your credit agreement they do not have the right top insult you ever!!

I keep getting calls from this number. They reference my maiden name. I have been married now for more then 5 years. I think this is a scam. I don't get anything in the mails regarding this and my address, name, and phone number are up to date with all the companies my bills are through.

"Mrs. Danvers" from "offices of CRA" called and left a message with a file number.  She stated that she was looking for my ex-husband (divorced 3 years ago and now living about 1300 miles away from me).  Stated it was very important that he or his representative (from where he used to live) call back ASAP.  I called back the number but didn't get the name of the person i talked to.  They asked for the reference number.  I gave it to them and they told me who they were looking for.  I said that he was my ex and she said she was very sorry for bothering me and said she would take my number off the calling list.  Weird but the person was very nice that i talked to.

They did me the same way, left a refence number and said I probally wasn't even aware of what was going on, but i needed to call immediately. I knew I did not owe anyone so I looked the name up on the internet,I glad I did , I will be sure not to talk to these people at all.

Marisha called from this # and left a message for a person I had never heard of. Left this phone @ & a Chart # for me to call back. I didn't bother. I did not know this person.

Original call was from "Amy" who left a phone # and a "reference #. I returned the call and left my name only on the voice mail. Within an hour "Christopher Adams" called and sais he was in the process of "filing a summons to have a judgement filed" against me regarding some unidentified accout at a Compass bank. I told him I could direct him to my attorney and them he proceed to call me a "debtor" and a "deadbeat" . I asked hum for a mailing address so I could send a No Contact Notification Letter supplied by my attorney. His reply was " I don't give my address to people who don't pay their obligations". He was rude, uncoperative and loud.
