said that i was approved for two credit cards Chase and another one, and that i didnt have to send no money. They wanted my information. Can't someone do something about them.

Received a phone call from this number at 9:45 on a Saturday evening. I'm pretty sure this is against the law. Doesn't the law say callers are not allowed to call after 9pm?

When I tried to call back, it went straight to a voicemail. No mention of the business name.

Called 3 times so far today...they hang up once they hear I am a business.
Called them back (caller ID) and told them not interested.  We will see if they continue to harass.   FOREIGN IDIOTS

Ask for mailing address and SS# which I stupidly gave but I have a fraud alert on my credit reporting so I know when anyone accesses my credit to issue a credit card, I felt a little protected. To make a long story short they have drafted $89.00 from my checking account, and I now have to close the account to stop them in the future.

This company called us, when they asked for my social security number, I asked for proof they were legitimate and they gave the web address as above, in the other mentions.  We went to the web site and it appeared legitimate, but I have received no cards .. this was probably in October.  I am worried that they have stolen my identity.

Some guy with a foreign accent called my cellphone and told me that I was pre-approved for a citibank card for $5000 on November 3,2007. He told me that he needed me to give him my debit-card number so that he could go ahead and withdraw $3.85 as a service charge and that I would receive the card in the mail within the next 2-3 weeks from the date that the $3.85 was taken out. He gave me a verification number and had me choose a password too. Well the three week mark is up tomorrow and I still haven't received anything in the mail. I was scammed for the $3.85 and I hope that he felt that it was worth it because now I feel like an idiot!!! I don't have money to throw away on these types of things and never have...

these people called me last week on halloween, and when they callled, it was hard to hear them and they started asking for personal info, which i gave them cuz the week before that i had applied for a credit card thru capitol 1. so at first, i thought the girl said she was from the central card processing dept of capital 1. then after i gave my info, they said they had some cards for me.then i realized after it was too late, ;that it wasnt capital 1. it was central caard processing. i did some research on them.their website is forbidden.they are registered thru a place called godaddy in scottsdale arizona.their site was just created on sep. 21.before that they were favorite credit cards. then i tried to do a reverse phone search, thru 5 dif companies and it came up empty.this is probably an I.D. THEFT RING. IF UR ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST, AND THEY STILL CALLED YOU, FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE FTC.IT TAKES ABOUT 3 MINS.THEN FIEL A COMPLAINT WITH THE STATE OF ARIZONA'S ATTORNEY GENERAL, AS WELL AS THE SCOTTSDALE POLICE, FBI, AND THE DEPT OF JUSTICE. THESE PEOPLE GOT OUR NUMBERS THRU SOME TYPE OF BLACK UNDERGROUND LIST ON THE NET. THESE PEOPLE MUST BE STOPPED.THIS IS FRAUD.

Received call from foreign man telling me I was pre-approved for a Citi Chase Card. Told me as a thank you that I was to receive free of charge a $5000 online shopping card for a small fee of $3 to be put on my debit card. He gave me www.centralcardprocessing.com and the site doesn't work. When I told him it didn't work he talked to me like I was incompetent and couldn't spell. Also when I told him I was paying for something he had just told me was free he hung up

Sd I was preappoved for citibank card, had must of my info .gave me 888-712-9285 if i have any questions.

man with a heavy foreign accent callled saying I was preapproved for a Citi or Chase credit card. he asked me to verify my date of birth. When I told him that I was not comfortable giving that information over the telephone, he started talking about how they got my credit info from Experian, and a couple other credit reporting agencies, I then told him that if he had my credit report that he would see my info on it, and asked him to verify the date of birth to me, and I would tell him if it was correct, he refused, I then asked him for a phone number I could call him back at and was given 888-712-9285, and I asked for his employee ID# (I work as a CSR in a call center, and know that this they will give me on demand) he gave me his EID as RFV0110. I did reverse lookup on google and found this site... thanks for posting every1!

Said they were updating a listing.  They asked if we were a business that had not existed for over 15 years.  When I said we were not that business, they hung up.  Where do they dig up these antique lists?

Called saying I was preapproved for a Visa/Mastercard but wanted my social to verify. Would not accept the last four digits only.

Claimed I was pre-approved for a credit card and wanted me to verify my SS# to send it out. I told them to tell me the last four that they should already see and he couldn't do it, so I hung up. He told me when every I decide to rebuild me credit to call this number or go to www.top20cards.com.

said i was preapproed for credit card. Said i wanted to verify who she was calling from told me i could call the cust serv # at 888-712-9285 (which go to a mailbox) or go to centralcreditprocessingdept.com (no such website).

she spoke very poor english and spoke very fast.  said i was preapproved for a citi or chase card.


stated i could call 888 712- 9285 or go to www.thecreditshop.net but that is just a link to other links to obtain a credit report.
