"AL Green" called and asked to speak with the owner of my company, he didn't identify what company he was from and didn't even know the name of the owner. When I asked what matter the call was regarding, he then said "regarding your OSHA safety compliance" still didn't identify his company.

I placed him on hold for about 1 min and the took the call telling him the owner was in a meeting but I'd take the message, it was only then when he told me he was with "Safety Services".
When I asked if this was about an issue regarding our current compliance with OSHA, he then said it was just about our overall OSHA safety compliance.

Clearly a telemarketer.

Just got a call from these people too.  This is the second time they have called this month.  This time the message was from what sounded like Sam Stone regarding OSHA compliance programs.  It's strange that we are licensed and registered in our city and they have never mentioned any of these OSHA compliance things to us.  We have the required posters and information, but they have never told us about having to participate in any meetings or programs.  I am SO tired of these telemarketers and scammers!

Received this call this morning from 440-607-4193 but call back at 888-714-9562 to schedule and OSHA compliance meeting.  We have no employees. So I knew it was a scam.  So tired of these fake phone calls.  Complete waste of office time.

Call from "Jim West" asking to call Safety Services.

Followup to the message about Mike Matson. Caller ID showed 937-660-8701, which is a Dayton, OH area number. Comes back to "Safety Services Company" headquartered in Tempe, AZ.

Received a voice mail stating, "This is Mike Matson (SP?) calling, I was told to call you concerning your company's safety compliance. You need to call me at 888-714-9562." No mention of any business name or government agency he represents, nor did he mention my name or the name of my business. Obviously cold calling for something I DON'T need! I did not call back.

Same line same number 888-714-9562, he says his name was "Troy Vincent" really weird cause he had a Indian (the country) accent.

Yes they target contractors & businesses.  All they want you to do is pay them $$$$$$$$$ to set you up with canned stuff to meet OSHA requirements. They of course word it just so to make you think "the man" is calling. If they say "I was told to call you" you can bet they were. The boiler room kommandant told them to or hit the road!

I forgot to mention the number he called from was 317-565-1615; different than the number he told me to call.

Same deal; a guy by the name of Jim Daily called today: "I was asked to contact your office concerning safety meetings for the business, you can reach me at 888-714-9562".  I could hear the noise in the background that sounded like a call center.  I will not be returning the call; I hope they don't start pestering me.

called my office and said the same thing. the caller id was from Independance Ohio 216.503.6517, but left me the 888.714.9562 to return the call.

Got a call from 610-421-4604 about my required safety training. Said his name is Paul Blackwell and left this as a call back number... 888-714-9562. I have started to let all calls that i don't recognise go to my voicemail. I don't have time to be answering all these calls. My son and I work together as an LLC, its frustrating when I am out working in the cold and think its a customer calling an it ends up being some shister in a warm office hoping to scam me. should be illegal!!

Number called from was with a local area code 615-671-5401.
On VM left a call back number of 888-714-9562

On VM said "Trying to reach (BizName) but judging from your greeting *laugh* I don't know if I have the right number (personal cell is business line). Said to call me back on his job at that number...

I had the number marked in my cell as SPAM which means they've called before. Ugh

Call came from a local #919-926-1787.  Someone Identified themselves as Todd Begains.  Requesting to speak to someone in our office stating that they were needed back on his jobsite.  Total Scam!!!!!!!!  Left a call back #1-888-714-9562. After asking what company he was with he stated he was with Safety Services.

Got a call from a  'Private Caller' who left a message on my answering machine.  He said he is Kit Bennett (sounded Hispanic) and said he was calling 'in regards to your state and federal safety requirements'.  He said to 'call me at my office at 888 714 9562'...

Yeah right!
