Ridiculous called my family in Puerto Rico asking for me over 5000 miles! So rude and make it sound like an attorney over an account that has been already been discharged on my bankrupcy

Called both my mother and my COUSIN (with whom I share no common names, but social network) 3,200 miles away to "try to get in touch with" me about a "very important matter." Had previoulsy left one extremely garbled message at my home late on a Friday night.

They are not attorneys, but try to intimidate people by making them thinking they are a group of attorneys

"Brian" called at about 8:20 in the morning PST. He was looking for my brother-in-law who stayed with us a short time (about 3 months).He asked a lot of questions - about where the brother-in-law was, who I was, what the address was, etc. Gave the name "Nelson, Watson, & Associates" out of Tennessee, as if it was a law firm...but appears to be a collection agency after looking them up on the internet. Asked me to relay message that he needed a callback about "an important personal matter". They have also been sending notices to the house, making it appear that they are a law firm that can assist with bankruptcy...that they have received info on outstanding debt from "public records".

This showed up as "Nelson" on my caller ID several times a day when I'd check upon returning home from work. At night when I'd answer no one was there. Went on for about 2 weeks. Fed up, I called them today & it was Nelson Watson & Associates collection agency looking for an individual unknown to me. No idea how or why they were calling for this unknown individual at my phone number since I've had this number for 5-6 years. Asked them to take my phone number off their system. Documented the call & will report to A.G.'s office is they continue calling.

Charlie Corgi with the firm listed here. Called my roommate looking for me. Must of got here number by doing a reverse address lookup. He lied and said it was the number he had listed for me, according to my roommate.
