How do we stop these annoying calls?

I RECIEVED SEVERA CALLS FOR THIS WHEN I PICKED UP THE PERSON ON THE OTHER END DID'NT EVEN SPEAK ENGISH I SAID WRONG NUMBER AND CALED MY PHONE COMPANY TO SEE/

I needed to get an advance pay day loan and acecashexpress.com is the only place i put my information i didn't get any money from them because they denied me then i went to the actual place and i was approved. The next day I found out someone hacked into my computer and got my bank information. I had to close down my account and get a new one and reissue everything. I am really pissed they took over $700.00 I go back to the website and any of the numbers I called aren't legit! They're fax numbers and the 'verisign' is just a small tiny fake picture!. I got the "courtesy call" and I told her that i wanted to call customer service she seriously gave me a number that doesn't even work they want you to put in your phone number that you gave them and i entered it and it says "improper number" (888-753-2384) this whole things is FAKE! A HUGE SCAM!!! I think that ACE CASH PHYSICAL PLACE IS UNAWARE OF THIS SCAM!!!

You need to post your hours of operation on the web or  telephone that way someone could know when the best time to come to office.

I navigated through their menu and talked to a human. I asked to be taken off their call list. The lady said she would remove my number... Hopefully that is the end of it

Keeps calling our home.  Does not leave message.  No caller Id, just
Toll Free.  Marketers are supposed to be blocked from calling.

I get calls from this number about 4-5 days per week, typically. The one and only time I ever answered it, it was a very similar experience to buster742's, where the only thing they would answer with is, "This is a courtesy call."

Of course, after I insisted that they tell me who they are, they hung up before I could tell them to place me on their do not call list.

And technically, if you give a company your phone number, the normal rules about telemarketers calling mobile numbers may not apply, I think. They merely are prohibited from pulling it from someone's database or sales leads.

Well, after receiving several calls at all times of the day from this number I finally answered it. The call went like this:
TM: "Is this Ms. Xxxxx Xxxxx?"
Me: "Who are you and why do you keep calling me?"
TM: "My name is Debbie and this is a courtesy call. Is this Ms. Xxxxx Xxxxx?"
Me: "It depends - who is this?"
TM: "I'm sorry - I'll call back another time."

Veeery strange. I did get one payday loan (out of desperation) from a company called EZ Payday Loans. The company was purchased by Ace Cash Express shortly after I paid the loan off. My only guess is that I'm still on their books as a good customer and they're shilling for my business. I just don't understand why they're so freaky about saying who they are.

I also get calls from this # all the time, with no rhyme or reason as to time, date, etc. They never leave a message and I've never called them back. That leads me to believe that the "Do Not Call" list is a joke.

I also am getting continual calls from this number and am on the do-not-call list. Why is it always twice a night 5pm and 8:30pm? I too have tried to call it back. The phone is answered by an automated system that gives choices but after reviewing the choices I did not see any reason to choose any.

This number calls me all the time. Never leaves a message. I have never answered because I have heard that you never actually speak to anyone, and when you try to call it back you get nothing. Very annoying and ridiculous.

Toll free call has made multiple calls on my cell phone-unknown where they got my number.  I am on the 'do not call' register and they are definetly violating that order several times per day!  Please note this on your website as I am reporting them and recommend that any other people receiving these unwanted telemarketing calls also report them. Thank you

I get calls from this number all the time in the evening. Never leaves a message. The only time I answered it said it had a call for me. I waited heard a woman chatting. I said hello and they hung up on me. Anytime I call the # back it says Ace Cash Express and their call center is not even open.
