This call came from 716-564-4905 but the call back number was 1-888-766-1777.   Trying to collect on a bill that my daughter doesn't even remember and has not used the credit card for atleast 4 years.

A woman who told me her name was Marissa called and gave me this number to have my brother contact her.  She said that she was from 1st Source (bank?).  She called at about 8:30 on a Sunday night.  I found this suspicious that a bank would be calling at the time.

Someone left a message on my cell phone to call this number.  Needless to say, I won't be calling it. The caller i.d. listed it as Unknown -no number.

I am in the middle of a divorce and recently moved home with my parents.  I recieved a phone call for my future ex husband from this number.  They called and said that they had this number listed as a relative for my ex.  That they had been trying to contact him at another number listed (his work number) and have not been able to reach him.  They said that it was the company FirstSource regarding a very important time sensitive matter.  They gave me a name for a contact person then a case number.  I took the information down and left the future ex the information.  If he informs me what the matter is about Ill be sure to stop back and let you know.

This agency, who says their name is First Source Advantage, has been calling me for weeks.  The other night I answered the phone (they always call around dinner time) and again told them they had the wrong person.  I asked why they keep calling and they tell me it's "personal".  Well THEY called ME, how personal can it be. I would think if you call me I have the right to know what you are calling about.  I was losing my patience so I hung up and asked my wife to call.  She spoke to the same person that I did.  She got more info out of the rep but told him that he had the wrong party.  She explained that all the info they had on file belonged to someone else (other phone #'s, prior addresses, even had this person's social security #).  She told them to stop calling and the rep agreed as he also must have realized that it was the wrong person.  He typed notes on his computer, she hung on for 10 mins. while he did this, and told her that they wouldn't call any longer.  Well guess what?  At 6:30 pm tonight, they called again.  Another recorded msg. I am going to report this company to the FTC.  This is not only annoying, I believe it is not legal.

Apparently Account Solutions Group has been aquired... it's now FirstSource Advantage and still a collection agency, I guess... I called back to tell them that they had a wrong number in their database but they wouldn't make the change without me telling them my number, even though I gave them the case number they left in my voice mail... Anyone who calls an 800, 866, 877, 888 or 900 number gets their telephone number displayed on the receiver caller ID, even if you normally block your number from being sent, so they knew what my number was...
