This Corey Woods person left a voicemail on my supervisor's phone. She called me all hyserical. He told me the same  about papers being served. Then right before he hangs up he says "youve been warned" I wish I knew more information to report these people

Is there a way to stop this?

A man named Corey Woods called and asked for the supervisor of an employee of mine. I let him talk for a while and he said he was with a mediation firm called Consolidated and had to serve papers to this employee. THIS IS A SCAM be careful. DO NOT GIVE THEM MONEY!!!!!!!!

This employee was fortunate that I have dealt with this type of "mediation firm" with another employee.
These people are criminals, unfortuantely it is hard to find these people to prosecute them. EVIL PEOPLE!

I got the same call today did someone serve you papers?

I just got a call from somebody saying they were serving me papers within 15 mins & wanted to confirm my address. Gave me a case number and toll free number to call. I did not know what it was about. I called the toll free # and it was consolidated saying I owed for a payday loan from 2007 and I was being charged with two criminal counts but if I wanted to settle today they were willing to do that. I said no I will wait for my papers and see them in court. After an hour and no processor, I called the # the server called me from, it didnt ring or even go thru but I did find out it was a landline so he could not have called me from the road like he said. I called back Consolidated and asked when would I receive the papers for my so called charges, all they said was sometime today unless I would like to pay in full. I said no, I would rather go to court as I know my rights in Florida concerning payday loans. She told me good luck in court and hung up.

I just got this same exact thing.  HR just walked up and told me that they would serve me papers this afternoon if I didn't call him.

Recvd a call yesterday AT MY JOB *** telling my employer that I was being sued & they were serving papers, first of all, that's gainst the law, secondly, How can I be sued without anything being served or filed in the county I live in? This is a joke, then someone calls a relatives cell phonel this morning from 813-359-8533, some guy screaming looking for me, after she said 3 times she was at work & he just demanded she tell him where I was......These types of calls needs to stop. Threatening is against the law. If I were guilty or not......I am not guilty of what they say, I've got the documentation to prove so....These people are jerks.

called my office and my daughter only saying they will be filing charges against me.  No info on original creditor, only leaving a case number?  Duh, if they really have a case number I would have received something from the courts.  Have no idea who these crackpots are, anyone?
