I just had a conversation with "Robert" not one hour ago.  He assurred me that eBay encourages people to use Western Union to pay for items.  He sent out a very official looking "contact form for payment."  Complete with "ebay's" 1-888-774-2910 to assure you that they are one the up-and-up.  When I called the number it sound as though "Robert" is at home.  "Robert" sounds like a very American name for a guy who's Eastern Indian accent is so thick he is hard to understand.   I was then instructed to send my Western Union payment at an agent in Atlanta, who would hold my payment until I had received my quad.  Then the agent would release the money to the seller.  Yeah...right.   I contacted eBay!  NO NO NO!  Huge Scam.  After a little leg work, I discovered that even Western Union does not want you to purchase on-line items using them. (if you do not personally know the seller)  Does anyone know a way of actually catching this guy?  I would love to squish him like the bug he is!!!

ANYTHING INVOLVED WITH THIS NUMBER IS A SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The number has been linked to numerous craigslist scams. I had a friend almost get scammed today and luckily I found a few sites before she sent the money.
