I've been getting a call from this number everyday at work for the last week or so. I don't recognize the number so I don't pick up the phone. I'm advised I have a message but when I listen to the message, there is no message left and the phone is just hung up. I called the number back to find out that the number belongs to a Professional Research firm. The name of the Professional Research firm is not indicated when the number is dialed. What is included is the Professional Research firm is part of the Better Business Bureau.

Calls every night from "Research Center" for a week...ha ha ha, I have caller ID so I don't ever have to talk to you jerks!!!

Got a call from this number this afternoon; I googled this number and am glad this site showed up.  This is their first call...hopefully it's their last.

This number called me today at 5:306 pm, eastern time but hung up before going to my answering machine.  I googled the number to see it belongs to a Research Marketing Company.  I am on the Do Not Disturb caller list and shouldn't be receiving these types of calls.

This number called my cell phone that is on the do not call list.  How can they be stopped?

I've been getting calls with no message left.  Good thing I didn't pick up the phone.  I got their# with *69.  I googled the phone# and got this site to complain.  This podunk operation won't last if they are going to be this way!

Just call their 800 number for every call you get on your caller ID. They pay for every 800 phone call .... it's the least we can do.

They called my home about 20 times last week and today I finally answered in hopes of making them STOP. When I asked her to take us off their list they hung up on me!

You people are retarded. They keep calling back because they have to. All you have to do is pick up the phone and politely say "Please take me off your list" you will never get another call from the company. I forgot to mention. The do not call list does not apply to Market Research.. For a good reason. The US economy sucks a** for most people. Market Research fuels the economy. Now please shut up and be polite for a change. What will it hurt? All you have to say is "Please remove me from your calling list" in a polite manner. Then your issue is resolved.

Keeps calling.  Try blowing a whistle or screeching into the phone when you pick it up.  If anyone is there, they will at least get an earful.

Someone answered, I asked them to remove my number from their system.  They transfered me several times, but FINALLY someone said that my number would be removed.

those annoying a**holes for one thing i am on a do not call list but i went ahead and took a survey to be polite plus i had nothing better to do one night its better then pickin my a** in my lounge chair and they told me it would be only 5 minutes and it took about an hour and i politely asked them to stop callin my house and here i am 2 nights later gettin calls from them every hour on the hour HOW CAN THEY BE STOPPED!!!!!!!!!  AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH

For the person above that says to be polite, i totally agree with you as long as it comes out of both ends! they call at the worst time ( apparently they know nothing about time zones and changes )and when i nicely asked to be taken off the list they call again...and again...and again.

Your ignorance is showing; if you do not wish to receive such calls, then ANSWER the first call you can, and then TELL them not to call again. Just hanging up will cause them to try again, as with any telephone research. Secondly, derogatory references to anyone, just because they are doing their job is also stupid; would you want someone to call you an a**hole, just because you were doing your job ? Thirdly, market research is NOT telemarketing, so the Do-Not-Call laws do not apply, since it ONLY regulates telemarketing, or those otherwise soliciting, NOT to legitimate research. Politely ask the caller to put your number on their IN-House do-not-call list, and they will not call again.

This message is to the above post Steve.   Apparently you can't read because almost everyone on here has stated that they have asked this company repeatly to not call anymore and they still get called over and over again.  Yet for some reason you think that just answering and politely saying "Please don't call anymore" will solve the issue.  Obviously it doesn't judging by the posts.

858 428 3208 shows on caller ID as Research Center. Reverse lookup says it is located in San Diego, CA.  I called back and it sounded like a FAX.

If anyone here has an address for this #, please post it...we're able to take a road trip and meet these lowlifes in person.

The call came from San Diego, but I live in Minneapolis and they claimed to be from our local newspaper saying thank you for our recent subscription and wanted me to give a credit card number to extend my service. I told them I already paid and they promptly hung up. I am so tired of these scams and I want to know how they got our information.

I received two calls with less than half an hour between them. One was from 1-858-428-3208 as all of you have indicated. The other was from 1-858-384-1160 and came less than a half hour after the first.
Both had "Research Center" on the Caller ID. There was also an "Opinion Poll" between them at 702-932-3408. It would be hard to sell me that the three were not related.
