That is what concerns me!  They had my mother's number.  They have my personal information.  Somehow these people are buying or hacking into old payday loans.  They use unfair scare tactics and try to harass you at work! They try to say that they are deputy processors and you are being filed with charges.  It is a scam!!
Make them send you a DV letter.  Ask them for a physical address and see what happens.  Very illegal!!

I received a phone call the other day concerning another threat from another so called name: Friedman and Associates.  I declare the lady that called me from 3142662604 Ladue, MO sounds just like Janice Dickxxx from ACS collections.  She also stated she was a process server for this company as well.  If anyone knows for sure that 8882178720 is also  888-774-5827?? Please let me know so our attorneys can get on top of it.  This is misrepresentation.

Then how is it the people that had taken pay day loans and have receipts that they had paid them off were being called? I was also notified by my attorney that someone one had stolen some different kinds of loan information from some financial institutions and that a government agency was already looking into the matter.

I do not owe the debt. I think I would know if I owed over 10,000 dollars in debt. I first thought my identity had been stolen, so get your facts straight.

how are you being scammed.... you owe the debt!!! a scam is when someone calls you and says "hey i will mail you a check for 5,000 and u mail me back a check for 1,500 " lol!!! you people are SAD -- pay your damn bills!!!!

I also received a similar message from Lisa McCoy saying she came by my house with some papers, but I was not home and if she could not reach me she would hate to come by my job and possibly embarrass me. The number she left in the message was 888 774 5827. It comes across as unknown when they call. They have also called my wife and my sister leaving the same exact message. I believe it to be a prerecorded message as when the unknown number appeared on my wife's phone again she answered it and there was nothing but silence. No one would talk. I called the number and gave the man that answered the docket number that was left in the message. I was then transferred to a guy named Jason Ryder that said I owed more than 10,000 dollars to a credit card company and then said no the first number of the account number looks like a finance company. He said accounts that begin with 4 are Visa's, 5 are Mastercard's and 3 are American express. Something to that effect. He said I needed to settle the issue or his client would seek action. I told him I did not owe that kind of money and it was a mistake. I first thought my identity may have been stolen and pulled my credit report to find there was no activity on it. I then asked him what business this was he said ACS. I said is that an acronym for something. He said he is with Apex Capital Solutions. I began searching the net with these names and the phone number and found 100's of posts with similar stories of people getting scammed. I then told him to stop calling me that I know this is a scam and I do not want to be forced to use legal action against him and his company. He then began telling me this is not a scam and told me to go to this site and pull my credit report which was probably a site to phish more information from me. I told him I already pulled my credit report and to not call me back. I hope they do not as I was a little freaked out by the message from Lisa McCoy, but was glad I did the research and found out it is all a SCAM. SO, PLEASE ALL BEWARE OF THIS B.S. COMPANY. DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING THEY SAY. IT IS A SCAM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just received a message from a Lisa McCoy saying she had been trying to serve me court ordered paperwork. When I called the number she and gave the man who answered the phone (no name, no company name) the doc number, he said I owed money to a pay day loan. I have only had one in my life that I had paid off last year (have full documentation to prove so) when I gave him all the information he then transferred me to another man (who was extremely rude). He would ignore my questions on how much the debt was for, I asked him repeatedly to send me the information Lisa McCoy was going to serve me. After his constant verbal abuse I told him serve me the papers and hung up. They are a complete scam. I have read several didn't stories and experiences from other websites about them harrassing family members. Ignore any phone calls.

I got the same call and they at nothing but people trying to collect money  you don't owe. They are telling me I owe $720.00 to a PAYDAY loan company name CASH NET USA so I called CASH NET USA and Ii was told I don't owe them any money.

I am sick and tired of people trying to scam innocent folk. I received several calls for 888-774-5827 and I am just plain sick of the harrassing, lazy scammers who should get a real job for a living. Report the person, who in this case was a woman, for even using my minutes on my phone for dumb stuff. This woman stumbled over her words as if she was fairly illiterate and could not read. If you are going to scam people at least be professional about it. The number is 1-888-774-5827, so please be ware.

I received the same message today from that number from a lady named Lisa McCoy.  Did anything become of your call?  Did they try reaching you again? She left docket number and said she wanted save me the embarrassment of serving me at work and to contact 888-774-5827 to schedule a time to sign summons.

I just got the same call stating they are taking me to court, but could not tell me what court they were going file it in, because they don't know my new address any law firm can find you and serve you.

I just received this call today. So this is a scam. I was freaking out at first.

I received a call at work yesterday with this number and a docket number for my case. He didn't say the company name/ They don't want to have to serve me at work, he said. I've never received any paperwork saying that I'm being sued or charged with some type of crime, nor has anyone been to my house to leave anything. I've been getting these calls for months and I'm tired of it!

Last call I got I asked for an email since they could not mail me any documents. When I googled it, I found out it was a pet store. Don't give them any info on itself or others u know!!! If this was real they would mail u statements. "mine" is from "7" yrs ago, give me a break.

Got a call today with a document number saying I owed $. I asked for proof to be mailed and they cannot provide that for some reason. I spoke to Jason. This is my 4th call in the past 3 months. Going to contact the FBI.

I received the same phone call from a Louis Freedman with a document #.  Has anyone had any follow up to these phone calls?

Just got a call from this number and gave a docket number stating that the were going to contact my employer and take me to court.  Idon't believe her.  Anyone know who this is?

This is a "personal locator" who will then serve you with legal papers as you are being sued.
