Multiple calls daily for the past month. Caller ID shows "unavailable".
I returned the call today. They told me Mr. Olsen is an automated caller.
the man I spoke with refused to idntify the company he was with. He wanted me to fax a Power of Attorney to prove I handle my father's business affairs. He also wanted to know my father's age. Irefused to supply any information and told him I would send a document to an unknown entity. He was rather insolent..I told him not to call again. He said he would call since this was not my house.

Same number...came up as unavailable on caller ID. Caller identifies himself as Reginald Young, said he was with the "legal department" of a company he refused to identify, and wanted the email address of a friend who used to live with me.

Received a voice message left on my work phone asking me to call 888-775-0551 back immediately to settle a matter. I called back and nothing. The phone rang and then stopped ringing. There was no voice mail to leave a message or anything stating what company or who it was.

Called me at work; message received from "Miko". I was rudely treated when I returned the call (which was picked up fairly quickly). "Miko" wanted my telephone number and name, which I refused. She then began to tell me how she couldn't help me, so I just hung up.

I like what your saying my friend. Enough is enough and we should fight back against these darn collectors that bother people almost daily. Go look at the what's written about 18664827474 another collection agency but a very rude one.

A message was left on my answering maching aking for my x-wife.  It was not a recorded call, but a real person.  The caller identified themselves as Kanice.

I just called to see how the number would be answered.  "Mr. Olson
has left at least 10 messages.  It finally irritated me enough to call back.  It went into some sort of voice mail system.  I reported them to the donotcall.gov website.

"Jerry" called today from phone number 888-775-0551. He sounded like an older, white man.

His quavering voice said:  "Ralph, it is very important that you return this call by the end of today. Please call me at 888-775-0551."

I will NOT be calling "Jerry" back. Not now or EVER. I had been receiving calls from a "Mr. Olson", youngish white guy for the past three months, and have not spoken to him either.

I refuse to waste my money on Caller I.D. or Privacy manager. I shouldn't have to pay my telephone company racketeering charges to NOT be harassed by callers who REFUSE TO IDENTIFY THEMSELVES, just because they go ahead and SELL MY TELEPHONE NUMBER to STRANGERS without MY PERMISSION.  

So my solution is.........I JUST DON'T ANSWER MY PHONE!

I have a (male) canned message that says "please leave a name/no./nature of your business and we will return your call". If anyone calls and refuses to state the nature of the business, I DON'T CALL THEM BACK! Or at least I won't do this from my HOME PHONE.

FYI-If you call an 800 number from your home phone, it WILL be given to the party that owns the 800 number. Doesn't matter if you have an unlisted phone, etc. If you are curious enough to want to know more about this company, call from a PAY PHONE. Lie about who you are when you call so you can find out more about THEM!

Get a name of a supervisor and find out what in what state they are located. Then call the ATTORNEY GENERAL of this state and submit a COMPLAINT of harassment. Especially if you have already told this company to STOP CALLING YOU.

Citizens shouldn't have to endure daily harassment from debt collectors who DON'T CARE if you are the debtor or not. Make them pay for bothering you.

I returned the call. I think that they said they were "First Performance" They asked if there was anyone named Harriet Herenda at the number.  I told them "No".  They said that they would remove the number from their caller.

Just a automated call that comes 3 times a day every other day and when I called back and gave them my name they said they had nothing with my name so must be other member of family (probally my son since he had house repoed and moved away) but they could not take number off call list until debt paid. And since not in my name they could not give any details... stupid.....

I called this number back. I told them to take me off there calling list! He asked for my name, I gave him just my first name, he looked up my name in their files.I was not the person they were looking for. This is debit recovery office.

I get this call two to three times in one day, once a week
I am so over it.

Woman left a message asking me to call her back, but wouldn't tell me who or what it is regarding.

It's a youngish white man's voice on the recording, and all it ever says is "The number is 777-0551. Once again, that number is 888-777-0551. Thank you". Every time it calls me 4 times in a row, within seconds of each other. Always with "No Name" under my caller ID. I immediately reject it (i.e. send it to voicemail, since Cingular doesn't have reject technology), and there are always 4 identical messages waiting.

"Hello, this is Mr. Olson.  This is not a telemarking call....etc."
