This call comes from Med-care Diabetes Supply. The basically offer Durable Medical Equipment and supplies paid for by Medicare and/or Medicare. Does offer a robot no-call option if you call back but so far it has failed to work after 2 months. Wife responded to an online ad and now they won't stop calling. I found the information below about them. Please feel free to share with them your opinions at all their public media outlets about their calling behavior,  Robo Calls, Frequent cold calling and refusal to stop calling. If nothing else it will tie up and annoying telemarketer from calling because he/she has to clean up their social media pages.

They claimed that they are with Medicare asking for questions of  ID cards phone numbers.  If they are with medicare why are they asking for the phone number claiming that there are different ID numbers.

I'm a medical assistant at a pediatric pulmonologist office. Keep getting faxes from these people. Called them to stop sending and calling about asthma meds.  The dosage they are requesting isn't even the dosage the dr. gives the patients.  I told them they were a scam to a guy named Jack.  He was more of a jack!XO. I called my patients parents and informed them not to give out any information to these people if they call or get papers in the mail.  What a big SCAM!!!!!!!!

Received call from Medcare and was given the 8887770737 call-back number, but CallerID provided a local number in Taylor, TX.  They claim to be supplying diabetic and sleep apnea supplies, but none of the webpages for suppliers use that 888 phone number.  Does anyone know if this is a legitimate company?

I'm a nurse at a Dr office. One of our patients asked that we order her a new CPAP machine from this company. She said they were great and that's where she got all of her other medical equipment. I ordered it a month ago. 2 weeks ago she got an EOB showing they received money for the equipment and that it would be shipped to our office. We have NOTHING. I'm on the phone with them currently and they can't find that there was ever an order placed. What a JOKE!

I received a call from "Medcare" at 888-236-3011 at my office. This "company" had my work phone, name, email and knew that someone in my home used diabetic equipment. When I asked that my work number be removed from their call list, the CSR refused and told me that he wasn't allowed to do that. When I insisted that my number be removed from the call list, the CSR became angry and refused to cooperate. When I asked to speak to his supervisor, he then said that the'd remove my number from their call list and hung up on me. It's obviously a telemarketing scam. The interesting thing is that I never submitted a request for a call at work earlier this morning, so either he lied about how he received my information or someone is fraudulently signing me up for telemarketing calls which would be a different issue.

I received a call yesterday from Medcare Diabetic & Medical Supplies and spoke with Carol Nosner. Already had my name and number. Said I had gone online and requested information about CPAP supplies. I went ahead & gave the info, figuring that somewhere along the way, I probably had filled out some kind of questionaire and marked CPAP on it.  I really hope I didn't screw up!

Received a call about free cpap supplies.  The had all my information.  Asked where they got the information, she said she didn't know.  Also tied to 888-236-3011.  Someone named Allison at ext 0281.  Wanted by SSN, didn't give it to them.  They won't call my dr.s office for verification.  Dr thinks it is a scam.

I received a call from Medcare, thinking they said medicare, and was told that my diabetic testing supplies would be sent to me free of charge. I was not asked for my SS number, but was asked for my doctor's name for them to receive approval.
They then called me to verify my shipping address, which they had.
I'm very concerned about identity theft.and after researching their phone number and found that they are not representing Medicare, I am worried.

I own a medical equipment company and I have had several patients call me with concerns about your representatives calling them regarding their medical supplies.  Your staff tells them that our company has bought my company and they should get their supplies from you now.  You obviously teach your staff to prey on the elderly and commit medicare fraud.  I hope you are proud of yourself.

Although for hipaa reasons we can't discuss the specifics of your phone call with Nancy, I can tell you that the centers for medicare and medicaid services licenses us as a Medicare Provider.  In addition, for your peace of mind the reason Maria may not have asked for the doctor's number is because there is a free service called the NPPES that Medicare publishes and all healthcare practioners list their information.

You can sample the data yourself by looking up your doctor.  Visit www.ecare.com  You will see that by searching under "NPI" you can actually find your doctors phone number.

Please rest assured your information is safe with us.  We have the very latest in HIPAA security and the integrity of your information is of our utmost concern.

Claimed to be from "Christian Diabetic Supply".  Wanted to know if there were any diabetics in our household that they could sell diabetic supplies to.

I said no and put me on your do not call list.  She kept calling me "sweetie".  Not very professional.

This number came up today on my caller ID. I've made it a habit to google numbers now before I answer the phone. After 4 rings, it stopped ringing. Glad I checked here first. Saved me from having to be ugly to a poor telemarketer just trying to earn their paycheck.  LOL!!

Called leaving an ID Toll Free Call instead of identifying themselves as to who they really are.  I will report this number to the Do Not Call folks as this is a telemarketing call from a Diabetes organization selling supplies.  Found this out by checking with the "WHO CALLS ME" internet site, and others had identified this site as the Christian Diabetes Group selling diabetes stuff.

I don't believe it is.  Favorable comments on this forum have probably been posted by their representatives.  I can't believe a legitimate business would call a medical office asking for patient's Medicare numbers and when they don't get them holler profanities over the phone.  Just doesn't seem right.
