I got a call on my job from Chris Buttetfield saying I owe quick cash $1,400 from year 2008 and if didn't send da money to a Mr Joseph  GoHo I was going to jail n I need to leave work because he had them on da other line I told him to hold on ....then o told him I was at da police station n he hung up da phone MF

I had the same call saying I had five bounce checks over five hundred dollars because I took out a loan in 2009 and they was going to send me a summons yes I freaked out but not thinking at the momemt I didnt get a loan through a prepaid because a prepaid card cant get loans and they dont issue out checks buy I am doing an investigation and going to file charges to get my 200 back that was my kids going back to school money and yes whatever it takes im going to take full force to get whats mine back so I Hope that they are ready and what make it so bad I told them I called the sheriffs here and talk to them his question was y and he then act so rude ok Whitman and Sachs its your turn Mr. butetfield I see y u have that false name I have all my info ready and completed people just note that if I do have anybody else doing this and they are from another state they must have an attorney where u are from to represent them over stste people cant file nothing on u from where u are

I recieved a call and i wont lie i owed for a cash advance that made my bank account over draft. I just paid the 500 I owed and moved on. People act funny over money!

Recieved call and the man I spoke with informed me that his name was Chris Butterfield so glad I read this post because apparently it has to be a scam due to the same exact name has a complaint.. I would definately call back your state attorney and advise them they are using your name now

People need to stop fabricating stories and pay their debt! If you owe money expect collection calls. The msg above is coming from a person that bounces multipal checks and cant even open a new checking account due to check systems... Watch what you read on the Net...... When you bounce checks you lose your account. Duh

A man called Antonio Walker call my house and told my 82 year old mother that my sister Maria owed the bank 519.00 dollars because she posted a fraudgelant check and that we will be hearing about a law suite filed by P.A. Whitman & Sacks and that she (my 82 years old mother) was going to jail because of fraud.........came to find out that this was just a bunch of scam artists pulling this con on any one that would believe it....I report the Secretary General of my state and Immediately.....the calls stop calling!!!!! so look out for these #$@^&%#& mother that they will be caught....thank you Jesus!!!!!!!

Your statements don't pass the common sense test and it's fairly obvious to anyone with a brain, that you are one of the fraudulent reps from Rothstein Klein, AKA Cherry Bone and associates, AKA txcollectors etc operating without license to do so in collusion with Robert Wells who heads up this joker companies. Get a grip, get a life, and get a real job instead of barking at old ladies who don't owe you money, or stealing bank info from unsuspecting people, or engaging in activity that FBI warns to be illegal. Let a voicemail on my husbands phone stating that they were from Whitman&sacks and they have a claim against me somewhere I don't even live,I'm calling the laws on them and reporting them as well.these people are scamers and liars.

A message from an unknow blowing up my phone from Whitman & Sacks, stating that I have a file at my county court house. If you have to block your number then I know you are a scammer. Stop calling me. I have taken down one collections agency, I will take down another.  The idiot left a phone number of 888-777-7564.

So they called my sister and told them try we're a company looking for me and that I had a lawsuit and was served with papers. Called them back and he clearly was a collections agency. Told him I was filing for bankruptcy and was going to report him for posing as a lawyer under the fair trade credit act. He screamed at me for writing bad checks and said he was going to file these supposed bad checks id apparently had written and good luck with that. One, no bad checks. Always paid cash for my credit cars. Two, he clearly had no comeback for posing as a lawyer because he knows he's a collection agency and it's not legal for him to do so. If they call you, it's a collection agency. And they're morons who need to be sued because what they're doing is illegal!

Claimed they were calling from the county and there was a problem with my daughters SSN being used in a scam.

CALLED A REFERENCE THAT I USED 6 YEARS AGO ON A PAYDAY LOAN FEE THAT I NEVER USED, THEY CALL IT PROCESSING FEES.

OH, THEY TOLD MY AUNT THAT IT WAS VERY IMPORTANT THAT THEY SPEAK TO ME AND FOUND OUT ANY INFORMATION THEY KNEW ABOUT ME.
Sorry I forgot to add that to the first post. If they really wanted to find me they should check the phone-book, or even Facebook me. Instead of looking for my old aunt. They are still not getting because I do not owe them anything. 1-888-777-7564, I post this number on twitter and face book just so others can get the info. Scam artist.

I receive a call from an elderly aunt that I gave a her name for a payday  loan reference one time about 6 or 7 years ago, I received a blessing in the same day I was to go and get the loan. The told me that I owe for a processing fee. Well all they had was my information, I never signed anything and never received any money. I still find it funny that they are still trying to collect 85 dollars from me.

i just got a call from this same number and they have all my personal info. and they calling me with saying they work with the sheirff dep.and i'll be served at work or home.after i hang up with them i google this number and this what i found and i read up on this.im calling bay news 9 on them.

Call from jonathon Turner saying he was with St Johns County something or other and that I would be served papers and threats of being embarrassingly served at work...same bull as above post. Glad to have found this post, I'll ignore it. What a$$holes.

I got a call from a girl at this number 888-777-7564, this time saying she is from Rothstein and Klein llc my social security number etc.in reference to fraud blah, blah, blah, more b***s*** etc. If I do not call the office by the end of the day I'll be arrested. I have forwarded this info to my lawyers and talked with the local AGs office. They both told me these calls are from low life bill collectors trying to scare you into paying very old debts, This is illegal and I have a case for harassment but the problem is trying to track them down to serve them, They should not be calling me especially after I have already claimed bankruptcy. These people by law have to tell you who they are and not use false statement to scare you into calling.

Be smart and do what I do save the recorded messages for proof of their phoney call and use the phone numbers on your caller ID and the one they leave you. Contact your AGs office it's possible they are other complaints out there. A creditor can be fined for $1000.00 for each illegal act! So go after these guys or complain to the proper authorities don't let them scare you they have no legal stance once they misrepresent themselves.

I just received a call today from this number, a man name Mr.Jonathan Turner says he is with a division of Harris County Legal Support he has my social security number etc.in reference to check fraud & theft of stolen goods. I need to be at home between 2-4 p.m. with a valid ID, or else I will be arrested @ my job if I dont't call this number 888-777-7564 to save my self the embarrasment to be  handcuffed at work, if he does not hear from the claim's office he will be arresting me at home or work. I will be contacting the proper legal authorities to stop this type of harassment it is one of these payday loan companies that is proabaly doing this type of harassment.

This is a Fraud LIne, they bully and use threats of jail and police ifficers. I called my local Sheriffs Office and there is nothing pending on me.

He even read out her Social Security number. When I called to see why he called my number and had this info it took two tries, but I spoke to this man and as soon as I wanted details on how he got my mothers' personal info and details of the alleged debt he told me my brother had taken out a loan. When he denied telling my mother something different I told him I monitor such calls and asked if he wanted me to play it back, he hung up on me. He had three different stories about why there was debt. Do NOT send these people money. Do as I'm going to do. Go through the proper legal channels and report it.
