I received a call from the Internet Server Management again.  This time they kept calling and I kept hanging up on them.  This guy with an accent just wouldn't give up.  I asked them if they are selling a product or service and the purpose of the call.  He kept on repeating that the computer was leaking personal information.  He wasn't able to tell me anything about what that information was.  I asked where they are located and he said Toronto.  I just got frustrated because he was pushing me to turn on my computer so he could show me the leaks... I hung up and he kept calling saying the calls were dropping... I got to the point of telling him that the conversation wasn't going anywhere and told them to not call again.

The number is different 975-949-0499 but the company is the same.  I strung then along for about ten minutes before they hung on.  I suspected they would 'try' and fix my id leaks and virus but were unable before asking for remote access or selling me some cran p just to get my credit card #.   They weren't  forthcoming when challenged on anything they just droned on and ansered their own questions.

Received a call from a person named Sean from Internet Server Management of Canada.  He gave a call back number of -1800-757-7124.  He was very rude and claimed not to be a sales call when I shared we are the Canadian Federal Do not Call list. He kept interrupting me and was very rude.

spoken like a true idiot!  they are SCAM artists, a VERY big difference between a telemarketer (legal...albeit annoying, but still a legal company)  and a SCAM (ILLEGAL!!  if caught will face CRIMINAL CHARGES!!)  This particular SCAM they are attempting to gain access to personal computers to get a hold of banking and Credit Card information.  They would probably also be happy to take your identity, rack up 10's of thousands in debt in YOUR name and then walk away!!! Geeez!!  find a way to educate yourself before you speak next time.  It will save us all a few minutes of our lives that we otherwise couldn't get back.    I'll leave you with this to ponder:  When you are dead,  it is only hard on those around you.  The same is when you are stupid.

Received a call from 954-278-8417 just 5 minute before. The guy with accent told me, my computer is sending out personal information to everyone. I asked his full name and he said Ben Thomas or something. I asked what is the IP address that is sending personal info. He answered he cannot say the IP address but he is certain that is my from computer. Then I asked his address, he replied Toronto. But when I asked his full address then he replied that is against his company policy. The I told him you must be a fraudster and this is a scam. He hanged up.

I just got a call from someone saying that they worked for the Internet Server of Management of Canada, telling me that they had sent me a warning signal that should have appeared in the bottom right hand corner of my computer.  They claim that my personal information is being accessed by a Trojan worm and they wanted remote access to my computer to fix it.  Being pretty dumb when it comes to computers, I was afraid this was true, however I refused to allow them access until I checked this out, because I think it is a scam.  They are supposed to call me back tomorrow.  Any suggestions as to what I should do.

I received a phone call from the same phone number (760-705-8888) but the man (both Daniel and Mark this time, same Indian accent) said he was from ISN Canada (apparently this is an internet security management company) and had discovered that my computer was leaking information. He then told me that he could show me the information that was being leaked and help me stop it by having me enter an address in my browser. I told him this sounded like a scam and asked him to give me the name of my internet company. He said that it was probably Bell but he couldn't be sure because they are contracted by a number of internet companies across Canada. I am not with Bell and he never once mentioned my internet company. This is definitely a SCAM and he could potentially hack into your computer.

Received a phone call from "Mark" with Internet Server Management, NY (He had an Indian Accent). According to him my computer was leaking private information through the internet and he wanted me to log on to his companies server so he could tell me what information is being leaked and how to stop it. He would not help me unless I went to his server. If I would have done that then I KNOW he would have access to my private information. He told me I would receive a federal letter in the mail punishing me for not letting him help me. He said I would be fined a dollar amount for failure to cooperate when he was only trying to help me. I told him I would love to receive documentation proving that his company was a legitimate one because I believe this to be a scam. He didn't call back after that. The number he used was 18777789574

The company does not exist and as you correctly surmised it's all a scam to gain remote access to your computer.  lol on the threats of a Federal letter.  You should probably file a complaint with the RMCP and/or your local law enforcement office.

Okay, so my story from the previous comments has a continuation. It features the same characters, too: our old friends, indian-accented guys called John and Mark (Mark introduced himself as a "Mike Steve" this time, however).

Yesterday I got called by -these very same people- who called me half a month ago claiming they were Internet Server Management of Canada, located in Vancouver BC, only this time they claimed to be representatives of BELL CANADA. John said that my number "was selected for a promotion Bell is having", and that I could have a free satellite dish, a free modem with the latest "fibre optics" (???? what?), and a load of other BS if I subscribed for their "Bell Television and Internet" service that, after the first six months, would cost me $80 "forever". Yup. Forever and ever. When I asked him for a phone number that I could call back at, he said that "he was not allowed" to give it to me. When I asked him where he was calling me from then, he said that it was "through the internet". Really???? Bell Canada reps calling customers through the Internet? Really?? John then put on the same old show they've used half a month previously" connected me to a "Mike Steve" (I believe last time he was Mark, though). Mike claimed to be the "manager of Bell". He asked me for my address, full name, date of birth, driver's license number and SIN, all to make sure that "the right person receives their promotion package". I gave him some random information, just to amuse myself (have fun wasting your time trying to steal a made-up identity, buddy!) I also asked him for their address (he gave me a completely phoney address, of course), and he said they will be calling the next day to confirm. Honestly, I thought I'd never hear from them again.

Today I got a call from "Janice" who asked me whether I was (the fake name that I'd given them). She asked me whether I signed up for an Internet and Television service, and that the address and name I'd given them doesn't match the ones that the phone number is attached to. She said that she is working for VuPoint systems, which is a third-party company "working for Bell". She didn't want to give me her last name (oh, but you asked for all of -my- personal information!), and she couldn't explain how come her "representatives" called me half a month before trying to sell a fraudulent service. I then told her that I called Bell and that they told me that this whole affair was a scam. She couldn't explain that, either. I told her I am not interested in anything they had to offer, and hung up.

Bottom line everybody, just beware of these three scammers, no matter what service they try to sell to you, they have no right asking for your personal information.

I got a call yesterday, also from INTERNET SERVER MANAGEMENT OF CANADA. The number was 1-760-705-8888. The guy had a thick Indian accent, and he actually pretended to be TWO guys (Siamese twins? Haha). At first he introduced himself as "Mark", and then "re-directed" my call to somebody with a suspiciously similar voice and accent called "John". Because I actually do have problems with my computer, at first I did believe his story about information leakage (same story as described by people above: they were sending warning signs to my computer, he told me how to locate those signs, there was information leaking from my computer, etc etc.). He told me my computer was infected with a great number of Trojans and proposed a number of Antivirus+Firewall "packages" at inflated rates ("Life Time Antivirus protection! We will be available to fix your computer 24/7! $399.99 only! It's a great deal!"). But when I told him I wanted to check out their company website and address, he wasn't able to answer where they were located (only said that apparently they reside in Vancouver, BC.) I also found out that they don't accept cheques, and want online payment through PayPal, Mastercard, or debit (uh-huh). He redirected me to www.tksupportcanada.com. It is an actual page, but I doubt it has anything to do with this "John-Mark" character. He also asked me to call him back at 1-800-757-7124. I told him I would think about the offer, and then hung up.

I later installed and ran a legit antivirus on my computer. It did not solve the issues that I actually have with it, but it also didn't find any Trojans. Figures. So even if your computer does have issues, do not trust this SCAMMER. I do not think he can actually hack, I believe that the main objective of this scam is to scare you into paying $400 for a mythical "all-inclusive Life-time computer security package", and perhaps obtain your credit card information in the process of payment. Yet still, be very careful with these "computer wizards".

I got a similiar call from these guys. They claimed that they are Internet server management, and told me my personal information is leaking out, and told me that they could approve it by asking me click start>.....then end with a list. They they said that it is proof. Then asked me to go to www.es365.tk, of course I could not do it. Also they told me that I need to take my computer to a store to get it fixed. I simply told them I do not trust them and hange up the phone.

I just got a call on my cell phone from 442035701988 - that number is correct as that is what shows up on my phone.

This man had a heavy accent, like he was from India, he said his company is from New York. Internet Server Management. I couldn't find the website he told me about, so I googled: Internet Server Management and found this forum.

He told me that my computer is leaking all my info and everything I type. I know my computer is quite secure and after reading all the posts (while I was talking to him on the phone) I told him that I will do my due diligence first before giving him anymore information.

After that I check the number of my last caller Id and it said the number is not known.  I tried  to search for the company and it leads me to this site. Thank God and so with these concerned individuals to share these experiences to the public. If not sure,(especially like me who has a little knowledge of technology), better search it or call your provider

Same number called, same accent, now they tell you they are from Tech support, your computer has a virus, and you must fix it right away. They get yoiu to give them access to your computer, then they put a Trojan Horse program on your computer. The next step is to sell you anti-virus software at inflated prices. Keep reporting them, it's all we can do.

I had a lot of fun today! I had a call from a lady that introduced herself as JANE PARKER calling from the Toronto's company INTERNET SERVER MANAGEMENT. She was saying that my windows was leaking personal information and that in the past days I was supposed to see on the bottom right corner of the screen some warning notices sent by my provider. She claimed that she would have been able to check and set things for me. It has been tough for me to not start laughing so I played the game for a little while making a good number of questions but she's never been able to answer correctly (including who is my internet provider) Apparently I know computer much more that her! When she finally realized that she had no chances, she tryed to threat me saying that I will lose my identity...at that point I could not keep my laughter anymore and I told her that I don't even have windows but Mac...well, she hung up. BTW the number that appeared on my caller ID was 4 203 372 0399
