Awesome.  I got a call from them today and told them I didn't want their posters, but I get this feeling they're going to send them to us anyway.  If they do, I'll just refuse delivery and send an email similar to yours if they have the cajones to try to bill us.

So how long have you been working for the Federal Compliance Publications scam?  If you're really paying $259 for materials you should be getting for free, then you're a moron.

I got a call from 954-505-7962.  Looks like they keep running through the phone numbers so when someone searches the new number online they won't find the scams listed under the old ones.

Definitely refuse delivery and dispute any and all charges. Federal Compliance Publications is nothing but a bunch of scammers, pure and simple.  And definitely don't pay any invoices from them.

I doubt they would actually send it to a legitimate collection agency, but they'd probably keep making nasty phone calls to you until you pay or they finally give up.  If they sent it to an actual collection agency, all you have to do is tell them the charge is disputed and if they're a legitimate collection agency they can't call you back.  But I don't think they'd even do that because that would expose their scam of sending out OSHA posters for $260 which you could get for free directly from OSHA.

After refusing the products offered by this company, as we take care of this on our own, one of our shops received the package anyway. I checked out the BBB website, then emailed the following to them at customerservice@federalsafetycompliancecorp.com. (See below my email to the response I received...)

To Whom It May Concern:

You shipped a package of unauthorized items to one of our shops, and you need to send via email  return postage so we can send this unauthorized shipment back to your company, as well as proof that this invoice has been voided and no monies are due to your company for its fraudulent actions.

I have read your cookie cutter response to all of the complaints on the BBB website, and I can assure you that you did not go through the correct channels to obtain authorization for an order from this company, you have no corresponding Purchase Order number, and I am sure that you cannot produce a taped conversation proving that you do.

First, we handle our compliance postings in-house. Second, had we chosen to order anything from you, we would have placed an order for each of our locations, which we did not.

We attempted to contact you via the phone number listed on the included invoice, and it had been disconnected. We also tried all of the phone numbers listed on the BBB report for your company; also disconnected except for one which rang, but was never answered by person or machine.

Thank you for your prompt response to this demand.

The next morning I received the following email:

Hello,

Your invoice has been voided.
Thanks

Just got the call from the same "required OSHA" posters - but the number came in as 954-842-2587 a Florida number and we are in Minnesota - yeah right... so I ask what this is for and the bi*ch rattles off all the posters, etc. that we need to get to get updated before an inspection - to keep us in compliance... and on and on, and I said we already have all that and she gets mad at me and says well why didn't you just tell me that before I went through all that... after I told her we would not need any of her posters she hung up on me.... tell me that isn't a scam .... and yes everything  you need is available online from OSHAs website for FREE - so if you are dumb enough to waste your companies money for $259 for something anyone can get for free - sure call it great customer service...

Received the same call, from both 954-621-3868 and 954-394-9217

the first call was a woman who said we had participated in this service back in 2011.  I am the only person at my business that answers calls (a small, 12 room motel).  No one else is here other than the occasional housekeeper, but they never handle phone calls at all.  They confirmed my address, said a package with information would arrive in 10-14 business days.

5 minutes later, the second number called and it was a man from their shipping/fulfillment department.  He said calls would be recorded for quality assurance, I heard 2 touch-tone beeps, then he confirmed my address again, said the same 10-14 business days thing, then said there would be an invoice.  I asked him why there would be an invoice, which he replied simply with "there is an invoice".  I said that the first caller did not inform me of any invoice or payments associated with this information, to which he then grumbled, said "well, there is", then hung up.

If any package comes in from this "group", I will stamp it "return to sender", go directly to the post office, inform them of my situation, and hope I never hear anything back from them.

I will also be setting up a "catch-all" Google Voice phone number account, and whenever any "questionable" orginizations call to speak with me, I will redirect them to the google voice number, stating that we do not ever accept unsolicited (or even solicited for that matter) calls to the motel's reservations line, and that all calls must be sent tot he other number.

And to Tyler who is attempting to defend this company, I am sorry, but both individuals were incredibly rude, and the first out-right lied stating that they had myself and my motel on record for using their service in 2011.  You may think they are legit, but legit companies do not resort to tactics like this.

Happened to me too. I was fairly new at my job and they sure came off as pretending to be OSHA. They asked to verify the address and when they questioned me about billing I told them that "if thats what we've done before then continue" I don't think thats an authorization to do something that wasn't done previously. They deserve the bad name they've earned. Scammers.

You people should kno that 90% of business in the US is done over the phone.  Just because you recieve a call doesn't mean its a scam.  I am the gm at a honda deslership in Ohio and have been getting my OSHA material from this company for 3 years.  It is NOT a scam.  They supply us with all our mandated material and charge for the extra material provided as a service to ensure we are doing evrything we can to keep employees safe and know their rights.  Pay attention to the call or ask more questions.  Never claim to be OSHA makes sure you are aware of what is coming to you and that the invoice for 269.50  arrives after you have your materials. They have never asked for a crefit card and even give discounts because i buy more packages gg or separate location  please stop giving this company a bad name.

Definate scam. I told "Linda" that I was NOT authorized to make any company purchases without his approval. A few days later the package arrived so I reconized the return address and marked it "REFUSED-RETURN TO SENDER". Then we got an invoice in the mail so I did the same with that. A couple of days later the invoice came back to us with the "refused-return to sender" crossed off by THEM and sent back to us! We took it to the post office and the recommended we just refuse it again. SCAM!!

My boss is away so I was forwarded this call yesterday, the woman said we ordered these OSHA materials last year, said that repeatedly, so I authorized it, only to find out it's a scam. But she gave me the whole "has to be done now" crap. Thankfully, I asked for an invoice and didn't put them on our credit card. I tried this number, but they claim it wasn't them. So now I guess I wait to refuse UPS delivery...? Any advise, please pass it along.

Yes, call them and have them forward a shipping label to you for the return.  If they do not, you will consider the items a gift.  You could also follow up with a certified letter to prove you did due diligence.  DO NOT pay the invoice.

Well they basically just asked me to verify my address twice regarding the shipment of mandatory compliance materials, and I did.  Claimed to be with federal government.  SCAM - we received materials and they are photocopies in a binder and no new info from our current compliance poster.  Not paying invoice, which they send separately.

Got a call from this number saying that the caller was from Federal Compliance Publications saying that they (the Federal Government) is shipping out new and updated infor and that we MUST have and display the new, updated information. Caller also said that the material must be displayed as soon as it arrives and that the company would be inspected to make sure the "new, updated" materials had been put on display.  Package was shipped and invoice sent to our head office.

New materials cost?  $259.50 for two small ring binders and one poster.  The invoice header looks as if it "could" be from Federal Government. It has an eagle like the Federal Government uses in their scam company logo.

Called the number on the invoice and was told I can return the goods. Was thinking about sending package back with tracking and signature for receipted delivery, but not sure if sending goods back is throwing good money after bad. Does anyone have any experience with sending goods back to this scamster?

Not paying the invoice, but what happens if I don't send a check?

Scam, scam, scam.
