NEVER TRUST ANYONE

Exactly as reported already by silverniteowl, "Brian Schlater from CSI" called, stating "We are trying to verify location information on an individual who lives at this address. We need to hear from you immediately as this is a time sensitive matter".  My call came on 09May2012.  

I called both numbers provided, from a business phone, and got their answering machine, stating the company was CM Association Group.  Googling that company name brought me to this site, to a thread for a different phone number.  Typing in the phone number left on my answering machine then brought up this much newer thread.  

Bottom line - it's a total scam.  Don't give out any personal information, period.  

Oh, and before any jacka$$ suggests we are running away from our debts, know this: I have none.  That's right, none.

Like Angel said why are they calling our parents house.. I got the same message. On my phone funny thing is they had my name but had my parents address so I called pops since I'm a Jr. He had no idea. Ask moms if any thing in the mail nothing gonna  wait it. out I recieved a similar call last month googled it to and it sounds like the same company Psi or csi or something. But I'm in to no call backs and going to complain

I have been getting message after message on my answering machine from this number, and finally got so tired of it I called them back.

When I told the guy that they had the wrong number, and told him that they should listen to my answering machine for the name, he called me a "MORON" , "DUMMY", "SMART A**" and "IDIOT". Im still trying to calm down...

I received the same message on my answering maching today

left a message that he just a note on his desk and to call him back. no name or anything. ya right. watch out, out there!!

Really rude call!  Called about a nephew, I started laughing and he was flabergasted that I was laughing!  I have been calling them now and not talking...fun!!

I just got off the phone with them as well. The are calling a wrong number and as a courtesy requested to remove my number. They wanted my information, when I refused as it was not relivant to me, she became more rude and said that now they are suspicious and someone is coming to my house! This is crazy I am filing a complaint with the FTC and FDCPA against these people!

This person keeps calling me everyday and has threatened both myself and my husband with bodily harm.

They call daily, say they are "investigating" asett location, Michael J Bromberg or something. Say it is important, if it was so important they would send certified mail. Sounds more like a scam collection agency.

Ron Riley left me a message Friday, April 6th stating if I didn't call him back by close of business that say, he would not be able to help me.  HELP ME WITH WHAT?!?! FROM WHAT?!?! FROM WHOM?!?! Does anyone have any additional info on this number?  Thank you.

They keep calling my cell phone & my parents house saying if i don't call them by today then they will be coming to my parents house to visit them on Monday. My mom told them i do not live there & asked who they were & they would not tell her who they were only that they have been doing a long time investigation on me. I haven't received any calls from them until today, they are lieing of course...they were also very rude to my mother...

See message listed under 877-491-7511. This is a possible Scam!!! It is under investigation, we are thinking that they are working with Cashnet to fraudulently collect on fraudulent loans. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY MONEY!  They are known as CSIR or CSI Recovery.

I keep these calls everyday demanding that I call them back regarding a issue, leaving messages to me but not my name. I figured if they really needed to speak with me....they would know my name.

Same here, except I did pull out a pay day loan that they were referring to. I have had to deal with this 2 times before--be sure to file a complaint to the FTC. They are scammers ,do not talk to them!

They called me, claiming I had taken out a payday loan in 2008, and that they were suing me for it - had my ss number and my dl number. I have not done this, and have googled the number, and not come up with anything at all. Possible fake company trying to force me to send them money? Claimed to be a PI company calling on belhalf of a collection agency for the payday loan place....
